equally good, you can take profits in the short term when trading and the long term when you invest. but long-term investing is also risky if something happens to the token, for example the price is stuck or falls deeper, and what's worse, the coin disappears from the market.
you are right, at this time I am also managing my investment more carefully. when the market is in a bull I will pay more attention to short-term investment assets or trades. but when the market is in a dump I will think more of a long-term investment. but to be honest the hardest part is predicting the moment in the future. we will never know what happens to the assets we buy in the long term.

Relies upon your objectives, on the off chance that you need to learn, or make some speedy money, star exchanging with a moderately little capital, in the event that you need to have a resource for the future, do some examination and pick a coin that will do well in a couple of years and contribute.

To understand what you need to do, you need to figure out who is who. A trader seeks to make money on rate fluctuations; he does not acquire shares as property. He invests in numbers on the screen. The investor, on the other hand, invests money in the company so that it develops and over time will cost more, and he will profit from its development. Are you a trader or investor?

I think it is the high time for trade not for investment. Because if you invest, it may take a long time to make a profit. And when the price goes down you have to wait a long time.

Trading and investment differs from individuals likewise the profits.
When trader A and B are given an amount X to make profit in the next 60 days, each of them has their own techniques and coin to invest to make such profit, the same thing goes for investments.
The thing is, one should be technically and fundamentally expert in trading once you are going for that part and when it comes to investment, fundamental is also important, it's left for the investors and trader to choose either for long term or short term.

When the altcoin price was experiencing a positive change I was confused ... whether to invest or trade directly ..
your advice is advice to me .. thank you

For me investing is a long term acquisition. You invest to increase your whole funds and get a bigger benefit in the long run. Trading is a short term PNL. You see that the market is about to rise, you buy some tokens and get out as soon it starts to lose again. Its simple as that.

Actually it depends on your budget and time. Why I said time? Cause if you choose trading, you need to devote time to monitor your asset in order to gain some profits and not to missed opportunity on sell and possible re enter again. I know its quite hard to do this if you have some job or other routine works daily maybe better to focus on investing cause it could not eat too much of your time to check price frequently.

I would suggest the same thing since it really depends on what your resources are, your available time, your willingness to engage with either trading and investing, and what your goals are. Once you have decided on what you would like to reach or achieve, then check on your available options on what best suits to your goal. Always see to it that it should have a harmonious relationship with the other things you do.

~
For starters, go with investing.
Believe me I have a rough experience learning trading from Youtube tutorials when I was day trading in Binance and I am not ready to go back just yet again.
If you got >3 free hours to spare in a day, start leaning a bit through trading.
Everyone can be a trader, but not everyone will like it.

When you have to trade you should have time management to monitor the coin you are trading. Investing you can do long term hold depends on your goal when to sell. We do have our own strategies on how we can earn but of course learning knowledge is also very important and do not take it for granted as this is your guide and journey to be successful in trading.

In order to make money, you have to be able to do these two things - both trade and invest with retention. Then you can save your capital from losses.

If you look at the most achievable profit in a determined time frame then in 99% of the cases the active day trader will be more successful.
That's only true of course if the day trader makes the right trades because being that active also means that you have a lot of opportunities to make the wrong decision.
That's why i'm a hodler. I know it's not the most efficient way to make money but it's more relaxing and i don't want to pay taxes  Cheesy

To decide on trading or investing each ora varies. If you want to invest you should wait for the price of altcoins to fall. While waiting you can analyze which altcoins are good for investment. But if the situation is like now, the price of altcoins is good I will sell to get a profit. Then I will wait for the price to fall very far just start investing.

do both. I started from short term investment. I did that because I didn't have the skills in a trade. after having enough capital and knowledge, you can start both with different assets. remember day trading and investing have different market characteristics. we must research our assets and market capabilities appropriately.

If previously you have pocketed quite a lot of altcoins and today the price of the coins you have invested in has gone up, sell them immediately because the current market situation is very favorable, almost most of the top coins have increased in price. for me personally have sold some of the coins, and the money from the sale I then reused to buy some of the top altcoins for the long term.

Depends probably on one's preference whether for long term or short term. Trading is more likely in line with short term, while investments are for long term(even if you may invest in short term). But I do agree with other's opinion about this, that you could do both in order to generate bigger profit. But in such way risk will be bigger if you will happen to engage in a not so good coin or crypto. At this moment, if I'm not mistaken, trading is more profitable but it will cost you more time to be able to monitor the rate of increase or profit and to make good trades. Somewhat the same with investments but patterns seem to change for a little longer.
In order to make money, you have to be able to do these two things - both trade and invest with retention. Then you can save your capital from losses.
Neither will guarantee profit, that's the bottomline.

All options depend on yourself, who knows where you want to be more interested in, trading directly is not as easy as imagined, you also have to be able to accept losses and analyze some of the prices you want to trade as well as investments that require long-term time until the coins you invest got a profit so the question is whether you can wait
Regardless all other things from my point of view invest relatively easy than trading. But, we have to invest slowly and not so fast. At the same time, market can break up to new highs but also crashing down. So, In this case rule no 1 make your own decisions first.

Things will depend on your purpose, your skills and your funds. You could also do the same thing at the same time but investing these days would be a big risk since the market is in a good shape. Try to trade but make sure that you'll be choosing a potential coin with a good volume and you know how to deal with the possible changes in the market.

true, trading is a pretty good alternative for those of us who do have little capital and want to get profits quickly, after all trading has several systems for us to do, namely long and short term while investing is a gamble that does require us to invest capital in a large amount and of course we will benefit with a long time and in my opinion investment will not necessarily be able to provide great benefits for us because there is no circulation of money that we have so far.

I think it's got to be a bit of both. particularly in todays market.
I decided to cash in some of my slower moving bitcoin investment and use it to trade some altcoins, especially defi.
Now is a good time to dip in and out on some coins in my opinion.

Eth still in the rising channel. The rising line seems a good support for the next leg up. ETH Compare results with 24h ago. Definitely volume is rising. From short covering to real price discovery. Watch those things closely. + funding - gives you 24h edge. its a nice opening to trade the ETH-BTC pair

I myself choose trading to be able to get money faster. but I also keep making long-term investments. like this I use for my future later. I want to get bigger profit apart from trading. I think both are good things we can do. but for trading itself, you don't buy and sell, you have to learn bitcoin technically. because if we don't have knowledge it's the same
