Im confused, trading is also investment. Anyways, just wait for the dip with a good support, it guarantees that it won't go down. Then wait and hodl after buying, wait for months if you really want to earn more profit but it depends on the coin if it has potential. If you have skills and have deep understanding towards the crypto market then you might try trading, the more technical analysis you have, the more gain you can acquire.

the dip definition have no absolute mean. sometimes we still confuse, current price already be dip or bottom yet? most of us make mistake due this reason , they think already met bottom meanwhile downtrend is running. so as you said technical will be very important for us to identify is it bottom or not yet.

If you are a newbie and wanting to earn a good amount of profit I suggest you do investment either short term or long term because that is safer than doing trading.

i would prefer investing over direct trading because investing is more promising than direct trading. although direct trading can get you a quick return, investment can pay off even more. the important thing is we don't choose the wrong coin / token for our investment or direct trading. because a mistake can make us poor.

Honestly I would rather invest and thats only since I don't want to take the risks of trading quite yet. Im holding some DIVI. Im also earning passive income from them by staking, which is super easy to use. If you want to then you should look into them.

Why not to try both of them ? Invest is for long term and trading is for short term only.

No doubt that some will have some good and long winning streaks, but in the very long run day trading profits are hard to be kept up as over and over again you are trading against superior technology. Trading from day to day maybe ok, but intraday trading is more or less gambling.
