I myself did not participate in any competition because of some reasons that I have mentioned previously in other thread. Not really sure about the other older users, who knows if those newbies are the alt of old users? There are some people who do not want to use their main bitcointalk account for a contest for more privacy purpose or something else.

It's pretty much the same anyway, I personally like public more simply because I don't have to deal with PM. Having private submission is like 2 step work, first post on thread and then post by PM. If you have good entry and don't want others to beat you, simply post in the last minute

Not really, this month I bought bonus almost every day: Gate of Olympus, Salty Bonanza, Starlight, Fruit Party 1 & 2. The crappiest game was only Salty Bonanza. I mostly played in USD/EUR casinos since local casinos seem too dark/illegal/not trustworthy, so IDR 20K or ~$1.5 bonus buy wasn't possible. If you buy bonus for $20 it's just not worth it, the duration, the risk, hence deposit $100 cannot last long.
