I have a different experience. I have never seriously believed in the possibility of making a good amount of money in gambling, so I cannot say that greed bothered me (emotions associated with it). But I was addicted to the very process of the game - regardless of winning or losing, you experience some emotions and get used to them. I guess I would be okay losing my control when I'm winning as I could end up winning a bit or losing all the money I have.
