Yes I agree with you If someone who wants to leave in gambling in his/her whole lives. we can give an advices and tips on how to avoid their games, or else we try to hang them out or make an activities for them to be happy. But if someone could not we can not help them unless they they will make a big mistake in their whole lives We can give them advice and make them realize that their life is worth it and not just playing gambling every day. Sooner or later, they will have an awareness from deep inside and want to change their habit for the better because they do not see a significant change in their lives. If we know what they do every day about playing gambling, we can tell them or ask them to do a new thing, such as an exciting thing to forget about gambling for a while. I am sure if they can build a new thing, their gambling habit will change with that thing sooner or later.

No such thing as fate, that meant that everything that happens to you, you deserve it when in reality it's not.
There really is fate. But when you apply it to gambling, you'll never know when fate is going to be in favor of you. The result of the game (regardless if we win or not) is our fate . But if you lose and keep playing despite of the bad result then it is our lack of control who push ourselves to an unfortunate situation. Yes there is fate but, often, we are the one who drive ourselves on what is meant to happen because it depends on our actions.

There's a fate on it because no one can say or make changes to the outcome of the gambling game, else you are the moderator of the game and would like to modify and get all of the chances and odds to you to win the game, still a game requires skills, talent and analyzation to have an idea regarding with the possible outcome. We can lessen the chance of losing by having this knowledge still its depend on the fate to win or not.

And that's why with gambling if you lack control and you keep gambling without thinking anymore and you're in a hurry. Then you have to expect what's the possible worse outcome of what you just did.

Afraid of themselves because they can't believe that they're responsible to their own actions.
Action is what we do and Fate is what we get as a result and if we keep doing a particular action on hope of changing the result then that is lack of control. The result of our actions is not in our hands and so we should not worry about the result and keep doing the actions until pur goal is achieved. Restricting ourself from performing an action over and over again is a skill that not many people possess. The people who don't possess this skill are the ones who have a lack of control and often lead to losses.

If you are trying to playing gambling for the long term without having control or having responsibility, you will not see you're winning instead, see your losses coming many times. Even if you possess skills in gambling games, that does not mean you can win because losing control in gambling means losing your money anytime.

Your mind will focus in the game now and then you will think that if you play you can earn money .

Yes, it is hard to recover from the addiction to gambling, but we should try for them so they know that we care for them and want to help them solve their problem. I am sure we can cure the addicted because everyone does not want to have the worst experience. The first thing that we should do is change their habits daily, giving them a new habit to do.

It depends on how close you are to the gambler, if you are an immediate family like a wife or a father they will likely listen to your advice, the most important thing is you understand them and you are more than willing to help them to overcome the addiction, gamblers will let you interfere if they think that they can trust you, trust is the start of healing, so if you want gamblers to trust let them know you are more than willing to help them.

The deeper the influenced you have, the better for the process of curing the problem, immediate family has the best chance to convince gamblers to start building up themselves, it's really hard to see someone losing control because of this addiction, but with good faith things can be worked out. I see a good point from your reply. If you trust the person, it will be easy for you to accept the help that he's offering. People who suffered from gambling addiction need deeper comforts. They already lose control and without proper guidance, it won't be possible for them to recover back and rearrange their lives.

After realizing those mistakes, there is a good chance that they will learn from them and not repeat them. That is why, if you know someone in need of assistance and that person is very close to you, don't hesitate to assist because they are in the most difficult situation of their lives, being out of control and emotionless at times, and don't care about others.

I do not know if I like this idea to blame our problems on our fate, I mean people need to take responsibility for their actions, it is very common that now people blame their problems on everything like the society, their parents or any other excuse they can bring instead of just accepting the responsibility they have over their actions, once a person does that then they can easily improve their lives as now they are the ones in control, but since a lot of people do not want to do that they keep trying to find any conceivable excuse they can find.

So bottomline, it is still on him if he truly wants to change. Other people surrounding him are just accessories to his change.

If two players bet against each other and the fate of each guy is to win this bet, what will happen? They can't both win if they have bet on 2 opposite outcomes. Now, if they decide to bet together on the same outcome but the fate of one of them is to win the bet while the fate of the other guy is to lose it, what will happen according to your theory?

Lack of control is somewhat are really a very common behavior for someone who do engage in gambling and this is where it do really makes gambling a very profitable business of its owners. If you dont know on how to control yourself then expect for these kind of consequences.

And I don't think it's a so common behavior in the gambling universe actually. Because unlike many other addictions if you lose the control of yourself you will lose your money and not being able to continue to gamble and to feed your addiction.

If any addict is having will power they will not fall for these material things to begin with without thinking about the negative aspect of it. The people who fell to these levels are the one who think about making money in a short period of time and they usually end up loosing everything they have. Exit strategy i important, even if you win in the beginning there will be a point when you start loosing and if you do not stop then you end up loosing further and i have seen countless number of players who gamble huge amounts end up loosing everything.

I don't think fate really has more effect on gambling than want most persons thinks. Fate is mostly related to religion that works with fate to achieve something in a more strange way with excellent results. When it comes to gambling luck with strategy works together to give a perfect result. When your strategy is good and then luck hit you, then things are going to work in an extra ordinary way.

I don't know if it's been said in this thread already but the people that blames the unseen forces/fictional personas for their downfall in gambling and losses are people that are afraid of themselves and doesn't have the capability to carry the responsibility of their actions. Afraid of themselves because they can't believe that they're responsible to their own actions.
i agree, it seems to me that it is a way to avoid the harsh truth, the truth that we've made a mistake and it's our fault, it is really hard for a human being to accept he's wrong easily, we always try to find something else that can take the blame for us, and in this case people say it's faith which is for me an easy one to avoid taking the blame no wonder why a lot of people say it all the time.

No such thing as fate, that meant that everything that happens to you, you deserve it when in reality it's not.
Some people have a hard time admitting that they made a mistake and it resulted in losing large amounts of money when gambling. Then the simplest way is to blame other things, because humans are basically difficult to admit their mistakes. If everyone could realize his mistakes and try to correct them, there might not be much commotion in this world. In fact, if we do an investigation, most people are brave enough to admit their mistakes and try to fix them. So these people mostly become successful people in life, as well as in the world of gambling, us to become responsible gamblers need to introspect with the mistakes we have made. Don't blame fate for all the losses we experience when gambling, sometimes we lose control when gambling and continue to be obsessed with winning. That's the problem why many people become addicted, they don't realize their own mistakes.
