Comparing these two coins is inconsistent, BTC and ETH have different positions and roles in the cryptocurrency market.

That's the purpose of the 2.0 and EIP 1559. They're about to lessen the fees which has been painful for most of the people that are transacting through ETH.
The increase in transaction through NFT has also contributed to the increase of it just like the cryptokitties days.

We can't further tell how effective will be this ETH2.0 upgrade until the moment launched. We are just hoping that it gives a huge help to lessen the huge fees that we cried about. We still have 4 months to wait and I don't think that people can still wait that long and able to hold their ERC20 tokens and never be driven by their emotions after seeing some declines.

They're promising it so let's hope that the best result for it will come once it's already started. We cannot help with the situation since all of us are struggling to get into transactions that cost us huge fees.
That's all we can do right now even if we're just waiting for it to come and like we're walking without knowledge what shall be the exact outcome of it.

Both top rank cryptos are best to invest with, however seeing that bitcoin price is a so high that makes me think that ethereum is much better to invest with especially seeing that its price is much cheaper than bitcoin.

Some people are speculating about $5k per ETH but there is no way that it would take even in 5 years for ethereum to reach 5k, it will probably happen in the next few years. I do not think that there is anything we should be worried about, it is certainly going to that level very soon, it is going to be something profitable for everyone who buys ethereum during this period as well. Many people think it is crazy to see ethereum at 5k because we lived a whole year under 200 dollars so they are afraid that ethereums real price is lower and what we are seeing right now is not the true price but only just a hype.

If you ask me this is not the real price of ethereum neither, I do think that it should be a lot higher but because of how high and expensive ethereum transaction prices are, it is not used as much as it could be, if ethereum fee was under 1 dollar like BSC that would make ethereum over 3k easily even today.

very lucky if you have big money and can trade and invest in bitcoin. although buying in small quantities can be done but it will not bring any profit.
both are great assets to have. even everyone would want to have it.

Bitcoin is the best this is not even a debate but on short term you may see better performance in ETH. That won't be a surprise because ETH marketcap and coin value is way lower than Bitcoin. For long term Bitcoin will perform better, it already prove itself. The best option for you is to buy both in different margins based on your risk analysis.

In my opinion, I think the best thing to do is not  to choose between the two. Why bother choosing one when you can invest on both? We can all see how good both of the prices are at the moment and it would be a regret if you would let the chance of investing on both slip away. Be smart and wise, bitcoin might be the most preferred because it has the highest value ever since but ethereum was able to stay next to bitcoin for a long time already two. Both are really popular coins, do not miss the opportunity to invest on both which clearly has a bright future ahead.

BTC is the first digital currency and no doubt the most reliable coin for investors, that is right ETH is also the best and this coin is my second favorite coin. But the answer is absolutely BTC and you can check the results of others, you can see that BTC has always made happy own investors. No exaggeration to say that ETH price depends on BTC movement, if BTC starts price increasing, ETH starts also getting up. Both of them show us great movement and as you said their prices are increasing day by day. If you want to invest in ETH, l would say ETH is the best for long-term investing and no doubt if you can be enough patient, you can make good money from this investment in the future.

But I intend to convert it to BTC or $ at the top of the cycle. BTC remains king.
