And i say it again. How bad is BOTTAS. I really cant believe he cant push and when Hamilton was on fire and the team say he led to pass(he obviusly dont have the pace) he didnt really cant believe if was a race for be a rebel this was not one because he was driving like shit.
And 10/10 for Mercedes strategy again 10/10 for Leclerc i think he its better than Max but its a opinion

And 10/10 for Mercedes strategy again
Yep, Mercedes strategy was great and flawlessly executed. On the other hand it was ugly what they did to Bottas and I think that they wanted to prove a point for some internal dispute. Maybe it's indeed his last year at Mercedes. I'm sorry for Max, he did pretty well and the early overtaking was a great move. Unfortunately the team didn't think farther than that. I can't say about Leclerc that it's better than Max or not, but I can tell that after the fiasco cars from last year(s), now the Ferraris are surprisingly good. Sergio had a good race, but he has to become soon a constant threat for Mercedes, else the team results will not get to look better than this one. Sainz does good and still improving, I'm happy for him, despite the fact he runs now for Ferrari McLaren was disappointing this week-end. Alpha Tauri, Alpine and Aston Martin had big words at the start of the year, but they are all more than disappointing. The fight for 3rd place on the podium seems to take place only between Ferrari and McLaren.

Ferrari has definitely taken a step, but it's still a little too little for a podium or a win.

In order to have that they don't need good or very good drivers (like Leclerc or Sainz), instead they need brilliant driver(s), and something more (something Michael Schumacher had and probably Sebastian Vettel didn't). Or, obviously, much much better cars: engine, aerodynamics and power harvesting/reuse too!

Ferrari is a special team, as you write that not only needs very good drivers but also exceptional personalities who can shape the team (i don't think hamilton would make it either). Only Niki Lauda and Michael Schumacher managed that for a long time. Alonso as well as Vettel failed because Kimi Raikkönen was the closest with almost one title and a chance to a second, was not happy at Ferrari either and was then replaced by Alsonso with a lot of money. Maybe there was also the spirit of MSC in Kimi's car in the first year.

Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes are gaining more wins and points but next time in the end of May we have a special Formula One Monaco Grand Prix. Hamilton and Mercedes won last time in 2019 and I expect them to repeat this again in 2021, and Sportsbet will probably again have their special free bets.

It is on the boil that Turkish GP could be cancelled or the date of it could be changed with Azerbaijan GP. I hope they won't change it as I really want to watch it. It is one of the special races on the calendar surely. If it is cancelled, Hockenheim or Miguello may take its place.

I get that Mercedes strategy was great but what did Red Bull was considering? I mean let's be realistic there are people paid by Red Bull team to build a great strategy for them and those people have so much experience and they work hard every single day to get it better so they will know what is going on much much better than we do, there is no doubt about that. So, I will say this with just a caution because they probably had a reason, but why not just pit Max one lap after Hamilton and just hope for the best? I get that they took a chance but this is Hamilton we are talking about, his "expected" overtake was around lap 63-64 I think and he did that in 60, so it was always obvious for Max that he would be losing time, it was even quicker than expected I get that but even if expected shows that, do not take a risk and try something, just go out and get it done and you would probably be out in front of him.

This is not really formula one but it is related with racing and formulas, so have you seen new formula IndyCar full branded with Bitcoin? Maybe Sportsbet can consider sponsoring on of this teams and adding betting options for IndyCar. Here is thread I created with more information: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5337514

I think the engine is fine now. I think the problem now is the ground effect in the top speed turns. The next GP will be in Monaco and I think Ferrari can do a miracle here with a pole position since is the track where LeClerc lives and no top speeds or high-speed turns. If he can do the perfect lap he can do the miracle. Anyway, the Ferrari boss said they spent most of the time since 2020 for the 2022 car and this one should be only an update from 2020, maybe they even did too much for this season.

https://twitter.com/F1/status/1393189855220277249?s=20I regret to say that it is official now. Because of the travel restrictions of England, the teams weren't too keen on racing there. And Formula 1 board also wasn't willing to organize the event for this reason. But there are still some rumours like the Turkish GP can be added to the calendar later.

Hmm...does Ferrari have the quickest car to achieve P1 at Monaco ? Because we know that is hard to win without having the pole there but I guess surprises can appear anytime but personally I do see Max on pole because Red Bull has such good pace on tight corners and Monaco provides all of this for them. Mercedes has the best car on straight but I'm sure they will balance the car in order to give Hamilton a chance for pole.

Ferrari seems to be very competitive in low turns and LeClerc is a master at Monaco. We will soon know if it will possible. Anyway, new colors for Mclaren for the GP. The engine from Ferrari is definitely better than last year, but I think that to the top it still lacks about ~20 hp. Mercedes and RedBull follow two different concepts, Mercedes weak aerodynamic and higher top speed (maybe also due to a more powerful engine than Honda) and RedBull more on aerodynamics. In my opinion, Ferrari is in between. They are not at the top here and there, but unlike last year with the inferior engine, they can still change that.

Yeah, I was just talking with my friend about formula and we wondered something and I am pretty sure someone from here could be wise enough about the sport to maybe know. I do not know how much it costs to practice with these cars, and if they are freely allowed to do that, like let's say you have a place where you can lap freely for a thousand times and just can do that, instead of simulations and all that you just really use the car and drive around that track as long as you want, is that allowed? If that is allowed, in theory can someone buy a massive massive massive land and build all the tracks there, 1 to 1 exact copy, give the real car to the drive and let him drive on each of them for thousands of laps burning all kinds of tires and damage the cars basically costing someone billions upon billions? I mean even though nobody would be able to afford or even want to afford such a thing, I wonder if it is even possible if one team decided to spend that much?

As far as I know, if there is any driver who is accustomed to the track of Monaco it is Charles Leclerc as he is from Monaco himself, so the chances of him at pole is definitely up there. I just really hope to see that Ferrari dominance like what happened during its glory days back in Schumacher's era.

Since the new financial regulation of the FIA, all teams have a budget upper limit, and it is no longer possible to test and develop infinitely. The teams get test and wind tunnel time depending on their placement in the WM, for example the leader Mercedes has only 70 to 90% of the prescribed time and the last approx. 112 - 140% of the set hours, unfortunately I only have a German-language source for it. That % of testing change every year the past years so i don't know exactly for this year. https://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/formel-1/f1-budget-deckel-2021-inventarliste-crashs/https://www.sport1.de/motorsport/formel1/2020/05/formel-1-fia-beschliesst-neue-regeln-was-bedeuten-budgetgrenze-open-sourcehttps://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article.everything-you-need-to-know-about-2021-pre-season-testing.44Li0lDRNfuz5vRjE2Qmwc.html

Have our standards already become so low that we consider the course of the current season to be exciting so far? Of the 4 races held so far, Hamilton has won 3 and once he was in 2nd place, I can't for the life of me see any difference between this and previous seasons. Granted, the gap between Mercedes and Red Bull has seemingly narrowed, but Mercedes still has a clear lead. The race in Monaco can't be compared to the rest of the tracks because the driver is a bigger factor here than at any other track, so it's really open this weekend as to who will win in the end.

Although it starts to somehow look like the previous season(s), it is interesting that there actually was a fight, proper strategy was needed and the victories were not as easy as in the past. And by this I'd say it's for now a bit more interesting. Of course, only the results don't actually show this. Anyway, new colors for Mclaren for the GP. Beautiful. Beautiful indeed. On the other hand, Aston Martin cars are also beautiful, but that's not enough. The difference from Ferrari is uncomfortably thin and it may easily disappear at Monaco...I think that McLaren has to try harder. They do have Mercedes engines after all...
