The first free practice is over, RedBull and also Ferrari at the front   , I'm curious, can Ferrari hold this performance until Sunday? I think Monaco is a good track for RedBull due to the design "aerodynamic". Of course you shouldn't forget Mercedes  .

Ferrari so strong yesterday whit a 1-2 in the FP2.

Just missed putting in my bet for the qualification race by a second.
Had the screen of the odds up on my screen then they were gone, the race just started so just have to watch it with no bets on the race.

Well  in the end Leclerc was right because he said in the interview after the qualifiers that he has always been unlucky on this track ...today result was the abandoned before the race even start. I was also shocked too see Mercedes pit-stop crew screwing up Bottas race because that tyre really got stuck there and they had to retire the care because the time lost was already enormous and you can't recover places on Monaco.

Max Verstappen drove perfect from start to finish and a well deserved podium for Sainz and Norris too.

It was a great race and great performance for all first 6!
Max got first place, well deserved, Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris have shown that they're great drivers and they have the right stuff for becoming rather soon the next generation of champions.
Perez is starting to get used with the car, there's hope that he will be able to help Max more often.
But Vettel did wonders there! And Gasly was not bad either remain in front of Lewis.

However, this race made the performance of the car matter less and the skill of the driver matter the most.
Too bad for Mercedes, it was bad luck too; also a bit sad for Leclerc, but there I don't know if it was utter bad luck or provoked bad luck.

Start-finish victory by Max Verstappen, very good performance by Sainz and Norris. Bad luck for Leclerc and Bottas but that can happen but overall a poor performance from Mercedes. In the next races where the car is decisive again, Mercedes will of course compete for victory again.

There are few talks after the race to be had that I just found out. First of all is the fact that the gearbox problem Lerclerc had turns out to be on the left one, I didn't even know that f1 cars had two gearboxes but turns out they do have two on each side and the problem he had wasn't on the right side where he crashed, it was the left side.

The mechanics obviously checked the right one because he crashed and that is understandable, but then they didn't checked the left one because he didn't hit that one, it is a mistake that anyone can make, then obviously when he had a problem on the left it was too late to fix it and that is the problem they faced, purely unlucky situation, if it was right I would say it was their fault but it was left so it was unlucky.

Second news is that Bottas' car is still with that nut, they didn't remove it, in order to do that on the spot they would have to crash everything to get it out, so instead they will ship it with the tire and then they will remove it at factory without hurting anything else. I guess they need to be more ready in the future, they are so good that they got complacent about the car and what could go wrong, they will probably be better in the future and take it more seriously.

The next race is over a week away but better to get some feedback on what you all think about it earlier than less than a week.

Last time Hamilton wasn't in a top three, he ended up going with one of the most incredible run of wins that I have seen from anyone ever, dude was the winner of almost all the remainder of the season except few races.

If Hamilton wins Baku which is called as a good Red Bull race once again because they are better at the short space compared to Hamilton being faster on straights, then we are going to see a huge Hamilton domination, he should lose so that this season is more competition filled, he will win a lot of races anyway and many races are given to him from the start, but Baku is a Max race and he should win if he loses races that he should win then Hamilton will just take the point difference to unreal levels once again and it will become a very boring season once again.

Honestly it is a very top heavy league right now, even if Hamilton retired today, we would just be watching Verstappen destroying everyone else, wouldn't really be fun that way neither.

He said that there won't be much change in the Azerbaijan GP for them also. But this time, I also think that he won't finish at a really bad position. I guess that lessons were taken from the Monaco GP. I expect him to see in top 3 this time.

Still, it will be much easier for Hamilton to win in Baku than to try to win after qualifying for the last race;) I respect the excellent level of skill of Hamilton and Verstappen, but I would not exaggerate to such an extent the factor of their personal participation in the race. As for Verstappen, I would like to say that when Ferrari was quite competitive a few years ago, Vettel was quite a serious competitor to Hamilton. As for the departure of Hamilton himself from racing and the likely dominance of Verstappen, I would like to recall the end of last season and the debut of Russell in Mercedes due to Hamilton's illness and what food for thought this gave rise to all those interested in this topic. Especially since there are persistent rumors that Russell will be Hamilton's team-mate next season. Well, let's not forget about the change of technical regulations for the next season, which can give rise to new leaders.

Well, he talks many times only "for the audience". And also he may have some coding for what he wants to say.
He knows that everybody listens, want to get any tiny big of clue about what his strategy is going to be, and obviously profit.

We cannot know if "a complaint about tyres" may actually mean that he can change 5 turns later than discussed, for example. Or maybe it's just "everything is fine".

I'm a betting man so I will go when the odds are calling.
Red bull for me @1.99x is too hard to pass up and I went with Max Ver. to take Practice at the very least.

Isn't it weird that Max never won in Baku before and Hamilton keeps winning there, and Max is still ahead of Hamilton in the odds? I mean sure we know the reason, we know Max is better in city circuits with walls instead of lines, and we know Red Bull cars are better in those circuits as well, whereas Hamilton will probably rely on his ungodly talent and Bottas will probably not be in top three if he doesn't get lucky, but that doesn't change the fact that Max is getting serious consideration over Hamilton these days and that is a very big change.

After seeing Hamilton win race after race, championship after championship, making F1 a very boring league because we all know he is the winner, this is getting a bit more fun isn't it? I mean surely we all know Mercedes and Red Bull are the only ones that can win and nobody else is even remotely close, but at least it is making it a bit more fun isn't it?

Well, Hamilton did very bad at Monaco, Max leads now the drivers championship and in the first two practice sessions until now the top4 was RBR and Ferrari, while Lewis has finished on 11 and Bottas on 16.
Of course, it doesn't necessarily tell that Max will win, but it surely tells that things are not so well at Mercedes.
Right now RBR seems to have to watch out for Ferrari, since the car looks solid and they made even more upgrades before Baku race.

And I could almost bet that there will be at least one red flag in the race. So whatever we calculate now it may just be blown away.
