You're the one who brings up his skin color, Cryptotourist only mentioned his face.
Why do you think (verbal) attacks on Bitcointalk are only allowed to people who don't have a black skin? That seems quite racist

If I had to guess his profession from his looks, I'd say car seller, not doctor. And if you say you don't judge people by the way they look, I simply don't believe you.

Nor is that post racist to begin with. People reading that post and thinking "it's because he's black" probably are.

People are so sensitive and overly trying to protect others, that they don't even realize their own actions are racist. Not that it matters, the word "racism" is overused anyway.

Freedom of expression is fine, but discriminatory measures and attacks on the person are all forms of offences that have as their motivation or effect to harm the physical or psychological integrity of others is clearly justiciable and can lead to financial penalties, so Bitcointalk could "have" a certain "responsibility" by letting this kind of behavior repeated without the slightest distancing, sanction, penalty undertaken against users who do not respect the law.

Stop arguing because you can't encourage people to support your perception in judging a piece of writing that is labeled freedom of expression. You can do this yourself if needed. Check out this option.

• You know what a "trust system" does, right? Open your trust setting and enter the person as someone you don't trust with an "~".

Both action are easy enough for you to do, I guess you just need to stop arguing that will only end in vain. The logic is that you shouldn't always resort to feeling when someone doesn't like something they don't like. He is free to give judgment, freedom of expression, free speech and you just have to take the middle ground and you are free to ignore it.

I agree with Loyce, it's how we perceive things that makes up our side of the story, a person has more identity than just his skin color or religion and criticising a person always doesn't mean insulting his skin color or faith or anything, a person can be insulted for any number of reason and identities and it's upto us how we look at it. Plus, if something really offends you, it's better to just ignore than to feed on it as it will only mentally torture you, none harms the offender.

We have seen countless of dramas here especially when you go to the Reputation Board, and these kind of insults has been one of the topics, it's not appropriate  for a ban, as the only thing you can do here is to ignore the guy.

This is a large forum of about 3millions users which not all of them are as mature as you are or know how to chose their words properly, and to begin with Cryptotourist is a black dude, this alone is enough to tell you that he was actually making fun of the doctor and not his race. Right of speech is not moderated on the forum, the use of the words " fck u, assholes, idiot" has nothing to do with the forum.
