No games until Saturday to close out the season with the final games of the regular season.
In the Pick'em pool it is the last chance for those who are in arms reach of prize places to get closer to the top of the table being the last week 18 in the NFL.

Some news broke a few days ago with Stephon Diggs from the New England Patriots running into legal troubles. So he is probably doubtful to start in their next games including the post season if they charge him with those allegations.

The first two games of the final round are somewhat interesting, but i'm more hyped on the Seahawks vs. Niners game since this is for all the marbles, with the winner securing the first seed.

There's no hope for me to catch up in the pool, as i'm sitting in 16th with 124 points, and there's a 15 point gap between me and the top 5. Still, I'll keep making picks until the end, and maybe I could finish with a better placement than 16th.  

As for my picks, I went with both underdogs (Niners and Panthers) to cover, and I imagine them winning straight up.

Same here. With what Panthers did to the Buccs in week16, I lost my all-in betslip with that interception that had Carolina win their last game they played each other.

So I stayed well away from this game, and with just the first quarter done Tampa Bay are up by a TD.
Can see this ending the same way the last time they met.

The Seahawks vs the 49ers is the one to watch for me too.
Think I will put a little on San Francisco since they looked like a stronger team the last match I watched them play, even without Kittle in the lineup.

Think this one could be a toss up with it being a good bet to place the over. Since this one is a do or die game for both teams.

Well, my picks are likely going 1-1 at this point. I'm surprised that the points saved me in the Panthers game after those turnovers they've made.

This Niners offense couldn't get the ball rolling in the first half, and it's only getting worse in the second half, knowing this is the Seahawks' bread and butter.

I was also tempted to take the Niners moneyline since they felt underpriced, but i'm thankful that I missed it because my coins were still stuck on the exchange.

Expecting some teams in letting go their coaches after not making the post-season. But that many in one day?

Forget about Belichick, he will not be returning back from what he has said during those netflix series.
He is should be happy enough where he currently is with his young wife.

Really thought the Ravens were going to roll the Steelers last night.
But Pittsburgh took Baltimore out by 2 points and Ravens were the favorites from what I remember.
Having T.J Watt back in the lineup was more of a help then a hinder since he was still recovering from that collapsed lung post surgery.

NFL Wildcard matches this weeken, 2 on saturday then one on sunday


 
Rams huge favorites and after that its pretty even odds, i think any of those 4 teams can win, gonna be a teaser trying to pick a winner,
maybe some player props bet or totals better choice, all 4 have very similar record

Those are some tough wildcard matchups to choose who the winners will be by the end of the games.
But i am excited to see how they each play out!

While waiting for some football action, I placed a bet on the NCAA Fiesta Bowl last night between the Miami Hurricanes and Ole Miss Rebels but lost.

Rebels were looking like the stronger team so put in the bet when they were just ready to score in the red zone with 6 minutes left in the game.
Big mistake as Miami stopped them and they could only get a field goal.
Hurricanes ran it down the length of the field in the last few minutes of the game and the quarterback ran it in for a touchdown.
Well that was that and lost my bet.

Just hope the games in the NFL aren't so drama filled when I put in my bets for this weekend.

Those are some bold predictions you have setup for today's matches.
That spread is way to big for my tastes on the Rams as I think I've mentioned on here before, Carolina are a coin-flip on who we will get too see each and every game they have played.
Can Bryce Young keep his wits about him with that Rams defense today?

As for the Bears, I don't know what to think about Caleb Williams. He just seemed off in their last game.
With the Packers they can alternate between their quarterbacks if one is under performing as Chicago can't do that.

I will be placing bets on these games but will keep them reserve and not bet too much or go to much on the spread like you did needing the LA Rams to win and cover that -10.5pts.

Will be betting more on the matchups tomorrow as I think they will have more value with the Jags taking on the Bills. Those kind of games are really exciting to watch!

Insane comeback by bears yesterday!! 

They were down by 18 points in the second quarter and 15 points in the fourth quarter

But somehow scored freakin 25 points alone in the 4th quarter to win 31-27

Even the Rams-panthers game was super high scoring in 4th quarter, with 4 TD = 28 points being scored.

I hope todays teams show some defense now

Those Bears were incredible comeback masters and molded their own destiny last night beating the Packers so badly with that amazing win!

I had Green Bay on my big bet but it was alright because that was such a good match and they are very bitter rivals from year to year in these post season games.

Won mostly on the Rams game as I had said previously.
This props bet was the one that had me the happiest to win on this early game from yesterday:

Can't wait for the matchups today and will be looking forward to the Buffalo vs Jacksonville game the most out of those one in the playoffs being played for today you had mentioned in your previous post.

That Bears game was cinema, I thought i'd be 0-2 on the first day, but then somehow the Packers started playing terribly in the second half, and even their kicker couldn't save their struggling offense.

My money is on the Jags for today's first game, even with the Bills having more experience, I still have more faith in this Jags team to deliver.

Jags played really well on defense in the first half ,giving 10 points only through turnovers - fumble and one at the 7 yard line of buffalo. if they went for the FG there the game would have gone to OT. Coach must be super regretting to go for it on 4th down now

Really thought it was going to be an underdog day just like we had a few weeks ago when the Chiefs lost Mahomes to injury.
But New England broke that streak of all the higher odd teams winning their matches for these Wild Card games!

Managed to get this ticket in while the Eagles were divebombing instead of flying against the 49ers:

So overall a very good day to be betting in the NFL while the games were being played.

That San Francisco game against this championship team was one for the ages with not just the 49ers beating them but how they did it!

Their wide receiver Jauan Jennings threw a touchdown instead of Purdy in the 4th quarter of the game for them to get the lead over Philadelphia!
This was not the first time he was dealt with the ball inorder to throw a pass to a another receiver before.
He did it during Super Bowl LVIII to Christian McCaffrey but it didn't result with such reasounce celebration back in 2023 when he did it!


Here is his post game interview and if this doesn't get you hyped up for their next match up against the Seattle Seahawks then I don't know what will!

That's what I was thinking as well, the Bills barely did enough to match the Jags in the second half, and it could've been a different story if the Jags converted that fourth down in the first half.

I'll be taking the points on the Steelers for this final wildcard game, as I think it'll be a close game, even with the Texans having one of the best defenses in the league.

Texans do have one of the best defenses in the NFL and it directly showed this last night with holding a big Steelers team to only two field goals in that massacre of a wild card game 30-6.

Didn't expect them to do that but knew they were going to win but a blow out like this was not seen by anyone especially playing in their home stadium in Pittsburgh.
I think Mike Tomlin will be looking for a new job come this morning and it is time for Aaron Rodgers to retire.
He looked worse than Philip Rivers out there in this game and I think he is getting to his age next season. So maybe it is finally time to retire.

The usual ones who were here to discuss and share they bets have not been on since last year holiday season.

Have actually been profitable to bet on these games since you sort of know how things will play out in the end and how much effort we will receive from each of these teams in their current position.

The one matchup I am looking forward to are the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks setup for this playoff weekend.
Ever since that amazing play from Jauan Jennings made to get them ahead of the Philadelphia Eagles and upset them so badly infront of their own fans.
Hyped up for this and all the other games being played.
