It seems to me that for the top English football teams there is only one important international club competition and that is only the Champions League.
All other international football competitions are not interesting enough for them and they do not try too hard and do not play with the best players, unless the opportunity arises to win a place in the Champions League.  

The fact is that teams receive much more for broadcasting Premier League matches than for participating in the Europa Conference League, and accordingly, the Primier League is the priority tournament for them. But remember last season, when Manchester United fought in the Europa League and reached the final. Arsenal did not perform badly either, but personally for me it was clear that the team was playing half-heartedly, maybe I'm wrong and this is my personal opinion.

The premier league and champions league are more lucrative for the teams and better advertising for the players. It is common for teams to devalue smaller European competitions.
But Roma, from Mourinho, will want to show themselves not only in Italy but also in Europe.
Tottenham, I think they will do everything to win after losing in the first leg, against a team of a much lower level. I think they undervalued the first leg a lot, and they were surprised, they will certainly face the game differently. But they are at greater risk.

I think the leg the second one will be a tough match for Roma.
But Morinho should have smiled for his first game in europa league this season and I don't think that smile was because of Roma win but maybe he smiled seeing Tottenham lose   .

To be fair though Roma were at least expected to draw,,, and Mourinho already knows very well how to lead a team into Europe,,, we remember I am sure how well he did in his first season for Manchester United!

I hope he finds his game yes. Good manager and wonderful when he pushes a "small" team into the upper reaches. Roma was in late stage of Champions League not too long ago however. So he has to bring them back to that stage.

It is still very early to talk about any achievements or results, only the beginning of the season and everything can still change. I don't have as much faith in Mourinho as you do. I see in him a very great disposition and intransigence, which ultimately leads to great conflicts in the team, and as a result, the decline in results. I hope that Mourinho was able to draw conclusions from this and with Roma he will be able to achieve great results. Today for Roma will have enough draw to go further, and Mourinho loves to dry matches very much, if it suits him.

What a big odd and expected win for Partizan at home against Santa Clara 2-0 at halftime and finished 2-0 . Santa clara didnt have 1 chance in the entire match. Also what an achivement by Lincoln red imps from Gibrlatar to reach a group stage of any europe competition

I guess this is the year of surprises, Sheriff made history yesterday by becoming the first team from Moldova to reach the CL group stages.

Flora Tallinn and Lincoln Red Imps both qualified for the group phase of the Conference League today. I'm not 100% sure, but i believe an Estonian team has also never made groups before, so it's a triumphant week for smaller nations, exactly what UEFA has hoped for creating this league.

By the way, Lincoln Red Imps have a significant advantage playing at home. I watched their home game against Cluj last month, and i can tell you they play on the worst artificial turf i've ever seen, not to mention that their stadium has a low profile and is very close to the sea allowing for sudden bursts of wind, in short, the absolute worst place you can play football.

I watched Roma - Trabzonspor game and occasionally checked Copenhagen - Sivasspor game. Even though Trabzonspor players tried to score early Cornelius injured and had to go off. Roma showed class and experience, they got what they needed to advance. We had bigger expectations for Trabzonspor but they failed. Copenhagen game was a disaster for Sivasspor, after the first game we thought they can show some strength but Copenhagen led the game from start to finish and gave no chance to Sivasspor. After these results Conference League is over for Turkish teams.

Actually based on statistics, Trabzonspor is superior in possession with a percentage of 60% versus 40% and Roma's 3-0 victory over Trabzonspor on aggregate in the second leg 5-1 and in the first leg 2-1, and Roma certainly qualify for the group stage.

Roma is in better condition right now and with a slight advantage, Trabzonspor has few chances to pass it.

Surprise, but not impossible. Gent struggled against RFS Riga. Rakow is better team than Riga, so I expect that it won't be easy for Gent. One interesting thing about Rakow - they scored just 1 goal in 4 qualifying games. They failed to score against Suduva in both games and scored against Rubin only in extra time.

the first legs of the two clubs are now over and both teams won their games.
raków defeated gent 1-0 and santa clara won their home game 2-1 against partizan - for me two little surprises

unfortunately, the two clubs from poland and portugal did not make it to the group stage. in the second legs, both clubs suffered clear defeats (0-3 raków & 0-2 santa clara)
today the group draw will take place - let's see which groups will be formed then

In the group stage of the competition PAOK will have a good chance to pass the group.

From the statistical records we can get the total goal attempts generated from both teams, in that note it is clear that both teams have a lot of efforts to make goals and so basically they have the same chance to win. Then, PAOK can win and qualify, I think that is the result that should be obtained. The match schedule factor is clear, PAOK has a free schedule because the league has not started and that is a factor where PAOK can put its focus only on this tournament. In contrast to Rijeka, at least Rijeka must share the focus for this tournament and also the league that makes players' stamina change.

In that match As Roma dominated the game from the beginning of the first half and it was seen that As Roma continued to confine the Trabzonspor defense, especially As Roma only won 2-1 in the first leg so it is certain that the result is still too risky to guarantee As Roma qualified for the next round, As roma  second leg game, in my opinion has started to improve compared to their appearance in the first leg, in the first leg As roma players lost too many balls and at that time the lack of coordination between players made As roma conceded 1 goal in the match .

Tottenham proved worth a risk, and Lincoln reached group stage, made history for Gibraltar, as well as Flora from Estonia, they reached group stage as well, not sure about previous group stages in any competition for them?
nevertheless, did not saw any major upset in this qualification round, all went as expected
