Teams like Roma and Tottenham and Feyenoord will be a bit better than their competition that part is true, however I still love this cup, I know many people are still not used to it, but I just feel like it is a good cup since it is bringing so many clubs to European cups, it is adding so many new teams to actually fight for something.

The draw results look good for big clubs especially Roma. They will not face with many troubles from opponents in their group. I have mixed feeling when UEFA created the Europa Conference League. Because many years ago, in the Europe, there were C1, C2, and C3 then UEFA killed C3 and made only Champions League and Europa League.

Now they create this one and give European clubs three big leagues to play in the continents. History repeats and the differences are only names of those leagues.

To be honest,I didn't expect Roma to win 5-1 against CSKA(Sofia).The Italian teams are usually not so concentrated at the beginning of such tournament.They start gaining momentum at the eliminations stage.
On the other hand,the rich clubs were failing pretty often against smaller and not-so-rich clubs in tournaments like Europa League.In last year's final Vilareal defeated Manchester United,so I kinda doubt that teams like Roma or Tottenham will be winning the first edition of the Europa Conference League.

Partizan proved their worth over Anorthosis, and won 0:2 away match, clearly stating group winner ambitions, Gent won over Flora in other match, both away wins, so seems that Partizan and Gent are almost certain to see next round

Roma conceived fast goal by CSKA, but then scored five pieces, Mo is obviously want trophy in this competition and they are probably the biggest favorite at the moment

will be interesting to see which from other teams will use their chance to join Roma into final rounds, Partizan has good chances, IMO

Tottenham played a tough game against Rennes yesterday evening. Rennes had more goal opportunities than Tottenham in general. Son was still injured but Kane was playing at Tottenham. However, he was replaced by Emerson in the first 15 minutes of the second half. Despite this change, Tottenham still managed to secure one point by a 2-2 result. This was one of the toughest games for them in the group and I guess that they are pleased with the result.

Thanks,well this was just a gift from the sportsbooks,Partizan has a much more valued team by 5-10x times then the home team and has much better players,in the end this match could have finished 0-5 or 1-5 or something like that many missed chances in the end by Partizan players,they even saved a couple of players in the second half for the next home game.

Stopped expecting anything from Spurs a long time ago, except if you want Kane/Son to score, which you can usually count on. But taking all 3 points is no longer a given, not since Mourinho and I'm still out on Nuno.

That said, Mourinho proves he is made for Italy, and maybe he was told there's no parking space for the bus at Roma:)

It is a very solid win for Roma. That match began bad for them with the leading goal for Sofia but then Roma had an fantastic equalizer from Pellegrini. Later, El Sharawy helped them to take a lead and the red card for Sofia is the end of match. Roma scored a few more goals to end the party.

Mourinho and Roma players are happy and very united now as I see from the match.

It would be the happiest period for Mourinho since the season he managed Manchester United, a half of decade. Finally it looks like Mourinho found a good club at which he have happiness with his works and gets support from players, fans and club president.

Whoever had doubts on Roma is not a true Roma fan. I know the start of the game was rough for us as we barely had the ball but after Mourinho started to give new indications to the players , their attitude changed in a couple of minutes and they managed to score twice and put them again in front.

For me it was a bit sad to see CFR.Cluj losing to Jablonec but to be honest , CFR don't deserve to be he anymore as there is a huge scandal going on on CFR internal situation. Ex manager blaming the new manager and the old one making every player, ceo and old managers looks silly. I think CFR might lose another coach soon.

Maybe that goal was the key for Roma to play seriously and end any possible thought from CSKA Sofia for an upset. Very good win and it seems that Jose wants to end the case "qualification" from the start.

This was one of the toughest games for them in the group and I guess that they are pleased with the result.

As I said in other posts, teams like Tottenham or Man Utd getting a draw against weaker opponents is the least disappointing. And if Man Utd has the excuse of losing a player in the first half, Tottenham has none. They can't be pleased with a draw against a team that is in the middle level of its domestic league and for sure weaker than them.
Anyway, Rennais get the point that will be vital, and perhaps they feel a little frustrated that they didn't get the full 3 points.

I agree. Roma should be very happy that they signed Jose Mourinho for their manager position. So far, there has been a good chemistry between him and the players. And the new transfer Abraham is also doing very good. Roma might have a chance for even the Serie A title this season. But I know that it won't be easy for them. Shaarawy and Abraham function very well under Mourinho and they indeed had a head start, whether they can keep it up, I am not so sure. Roma's squad is strong when it comes to the first 12 - 13 players, but when injuries come into play they will get into trouble. When Mourinho became coach in Tottenham, he also started decently but the, they lost out really hard the closer they got to the middle of the season.
