I guess that the most enjoyable game considering the games ended was Alashkert - HJK Helsinki. It was really delightful even if I didn't know any player in the lineups of both teams.    HJK Helsinki managed to win by 4-2.

I really would like to see Tottenham winning today against their easy-to-defeat opponent Mura. They have been showing a poor performance and the results were also really bad being parallel to that. They need to gather strength by winning this game. And then, they would be more focused on their next EPL game also.

Early rounds are pretty boring considering teams play for the tournament are in the middle standings of their national league but later rounds could be interesting when bigger teams from Europa League come here. Another handicap is these games are at the same time as Europa League games so I guess only fans of these teams watch it probably.
There isn't any Turkish team left in this tournament and these games don't interest me much except Paok and Tottenham maybe.

I'll give you that. Nearly all of the teams in the groups are weak now. There are only a few teams that are really powerful for now. Until this changes in the next round, I'm also not thinking of watching any game. I feel like it would be a waste of time for me. But in the next round, new teams will come from the Europa League. Maybe then the tournament can start getting more excited.

I dont agree with you. Many people watch this tournament honestly. Most of the teams werent able to compete on europe level and are now excited. Also you have some top quality teams in this tournament like Roma and Tottenham. My favorite team Partizan is playing in this tournament and are doing great and everyone in my country watches this tournament

Honestly, I don't pay much attention to this tournament, at least in group stage. I only watch goals on simulcast. At this stage it's difficult to find game which looks attractive to watch, especially when there much better games from Europa league at the same time.

@LTU_btc having player’s injured is always bad, but an opportunity for others to stake their place in the team hence we’ll have to see if those other player’s step up or no. Also are you sure about Spurs winning, did you even see their recent matches because I have zero confidence in spurs winning this game and that too winning it easily.

Yeah, I know that Spurs doesn't looks impressive in EPL, but I was very confident about my prediction. It's not about Spurs, it's more about their opponent, Mura aren't able to compete against such level teams. While Spurs played against Rennes, I was sceptical abouttheir chances to win.

I guess it's a different caste that even, not many people know about SLOVENIA league or Prva league. Not only that, even though Tottenham won with a big score but when Tottenham couldn't keep clean sheets, the problem was still there for the Tottenham side. It's good to hear the news, but I personally wouldn't say Kane and the Tottenham squad are back to their best because the opponents they face are just mediocre teams. In contrast to teams in the EPL, even promoted teams are sometimes able to surprise and this big win is not a benchmark for Tottenham's revival for me.

We can't be based on yesterday's Tottenham performance for their EPL matches. Mura is perhaps the weakest team in the whole European competitions and EPL doesn't have such low-caliber teams. So yes, Spurs played well, score a lot of goals, and for sure gain confidence for the upcoming games but against Mura IMO all the EPL teams will have "great" performance.

I think Tottenham victory against Mura will not be the beginning of Tottenham revival in the English league later, if we compare the quality of Mura game it may still be very far below the teams at the bottom of the English league standings, indeed if we look at Tottenham performance in that match, from the start we could have guessed that tottenham would appear very superior in that match and be able to score a lot of goals, but I personally highly doubt that tottenham will perform like that against Aston Villa later in the Premier League.

While Mura only managed to score a goal in the second half. However, they have lost 3 matches, and conceded 9 goals in the Premier League. Their next match is against Aston Villa, the game is a home match for them. Tottenham shouldn't be expecting an easy winning, as the match will be tough, but they have to win in order to slide up on the EPL standings.

It looks like Napoli are going to have another comfortable match this time against Spartak Moscow. Their opponent is really not good lately. They have got bad results in the league. And Legia defeated them by 1-0 in their first EL group match also. But Napoli are doing just great. They have been dominating the Serie A so far and they got a 2-2 draw against Leicester away in the EL also. I think that they will win the match very comfortably.

Should be an easy win for Napoli. They are playing incredibly well in the league so far and they are playing as a team- which is a good sign. So far the young Osimhen and Fabian have been playing very good. They also have creative attacking options like Mertens and Insigne. And Spartak has not been having a good season this year. They have been struggling in both their league and Europa League. So I'm guessing, Napoli will have this match in the bag with a dub.

Which is precisely why I'm betting on Spartak Moscow tonight haha.

I can't help it. At over 15/1 odds almost and you're both right. Napoli are scoring freely, while Moscow are in bad form. But I'm sure if you played them 5 times together at this same stage, Moscow has to win once. So those odds just look too good for me to miss.

Napoli's getting a red card changed the direction of the match completely. Spartak Moscow benefited from the chance perfectly and took the win by making a big effort. This was really expected from Tottenham to destroy Mura at home honestly. Mura even scored somehow that 1 goal and i wasnt thinking they arent gone a score a goal. This is a good win for Tottenham to try and get back into form for the next premier league game

Thing about these threads are a lot of people are posting opinions and not really picks, and fewer still with money to back their picks. Which is all good and fun of course, but when you get a sweet win like this, it's so much sweeter because it wasn't supposed to happen.
