Tomorrow the PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026 begins. What are the expectations for the teams? I believe it will be another great show from Vitality, but I think it will be one of those where they lose and come back to reach the Final. Will PARIVISION also establish itself as a great team? What are you expecting from this great championship?

I expect Vitality and Falcons to go 3-0 as usual, and then the other top teams (Mouz, Furia, Aurora, Navi, Faze) fight for the remaining seeds. As for Parivision, I hope they do bounce back after their early exit at IEM Krakow.

Haven't been keeping up with this PGL tournament to be honest since it has been an unusual busy week for me at work.
But having hear about Parivision in the spotlight once again then it did peak my interest with them having that string of wins earlier this year. So would be nice to see how they are doing in this one.

Haven't been keeping up with this PGL tournament to be honest since it has been an unusual busy week for me at work.
But having hear about Parivision in the spotlight once again then it did peak my interest with them having that string of wins earlier this year. So would be nice to see how they are doing in this one.

Same, I missed all of the PGL action yesterday, and it looks like Parivision is off to a bad start after losing their opening match against Mouz.

Almost all of the favorites delivered on the first round, except for Aurora, who lost against FUT. They're somehow paired up against Furia in the 1-0 bracket, and it'll be interesting if they can beat them again.

The MongolZ are unlucky to be matched with Vitality, but at least their next opposition should get easier in the 1-1 bracket.

Turkish teams faced off in Cluj Napoca yesterday. Aurora didn't put on a very good show and lost to FUT. There is clearly a major problem with Aurora. We can see that the brotherly relationship worked well to a certain extent, but it doesn't really work at these levels. We can say that Maj3r and the coach need to be replaced as soon as possible. Even an outsider could easily say this. This is Aurora's biggest problem, and if success is desired, it needs to be addressed immediately.

They're taking home the champion prize money of $300k for themselves while the team or organization is going with $100k prize money. But I agree with you there, Aurora does need a restructuring on their team either on the squad themselves or in the coaching. As other teams have done in the past when it comes to having a reset happen to bring them back losing game after game they way they have been doing the past year.

Unfortunately, FUT fell short, but at least they made FURIA work for that second-round win and will be facing Falcons for one of the early playoff spots in round three.

As for Aurora, I still think they're doing okay, because back in IEM Krakow, they already showed they can beat teams like Falcons and Mouz. It's just that they lack consistency and have the lowest lows whenever they're not feeling it.

They sure do, and they're doing well with most of their teams in different esports/sports. One of the most competitive teams that's existing currently. We'll see how they're going to beat Team Falcons in other esports because in dota 2, they seem to be the better team now than TF. I'm so excited on how this team is going to do well in other esports too. And with the Dreamleague season 28 for dota 2, Team Liquid is also part of it. Could it be that they can be a back to back champ after this? we will see.

Maybe this is why some others such as Team Secret just decided to leave the dota2 scene with such a organization as Team Liquid dominating in all types of Esports. They simply just can not compete with the likes of them any longer.

As for the Cluj-Napoca, Team Vitality just beat MOUZ on their own map pick to take that game clean.
Just switched over to see how PaiN gaming are doing against the G2 Esports squad who are leading their map 9-8. This one looks alot more competative than the Vitality match.

Team Liquid is really on a roll. Winning another title at Blast Slam VI in Dota 2 and taking home the prize money shows how consistent the team has been.

And it's interesting to see how the organization is excelling in several games at the same time, from Dota to Valorant, in addition to chess with Magnus Carlsen. It's not so common to see an organization with so much prominence in such different areas.

Now we just have to watch the next tournament and see if they can maintain this momentum, but I believe they can.

Pain lost and sank even further, and now they're fighting against G2. I hope they win; I haven't seen Pain achieve such significant positions in a long time. I also hope we have two Brazilians in the championship; that would be good for me to bet on.

It was a rough day for the Brazilian teams yesterday. That elimination loss on paiN was expected since G2 always delivers when they're up against weaker teams.

In the FURIA series, their side only showed up for the first map, then forgot there were still one or two more maps left to play.

Today in Cluj Napoca, some teams will be eliminated while others will continue on their path. The loser of the Faze Astralis match will bid farewell to the tournament. The first map was Ancient, chosen by Astralis, and Astralis managed to win this map with a score of 13-5. The next map is Mirage. Faze's win rate on Mirage is 43%, and if they lose this map, they will be eliminated from the tournament. They need to at least make it to the decider map.
Our representative, Aurora, will be playing a do-or-die match in two hours. I expect them to win against B8. It must be said that we haven't had a very good tournament.

I'm trying to believe this whole "3-0 curse" thing. But really, they only played one map and then just tried to act like that was what they wanted. Even Molodoy, who was a constant presence, declined in the following maps. I hope this breaks any trust and that they play as honestly as possible.

Yes, the organization itself is bagging a lot of prize money for all of the participations that they are with their players. But for sure that most of the prize money are going with the roster and if they have a cut, it's not that much and maybe 10% I guess, I have no idea how their contracts are going. I admire them for getting Magnus Carlsen to represent their team by him. With him, having the best chess player in the world is sure a lot of money involved in signing him with their jersey.

Ah FURIA won after dropping the first map to Parivision in OT. Thought they were going to go down 2-0 yet again to Dame and company.
Since Team Vitality won the last few majors this year they are the favorites to win this one aswell.
They have put together a fantastic squad and strung as bunch of final wins so the momentum is on their side.

So it seems that lorenof's standing in with the Aurora Gaming for its tournaments is about to end. But before that, he's taken by Team Falcons as stand in for malr1ne due to another visa issue for the upcoming PGL Wallachia S7. I hope that he finds an actual team that he's part of the roster soon. Because in Aurora Gaming, the management secured Mikoto with a 5-year visa and that means no more visa issue for him for the upcoming tournaments with the team.

Up until now, I thought Vitality and Fúria would be in the Final again; they're the best in my opinion right now. But Fúria has been making more and more mistakes, and that's causing them to lose maps they wouldn't otherwise lose. I see Falcons improving, and PARIVISION as well. So there are many contenders to reach the final, but few to win.

In the match between the teams tied at 2-2 in Cluj Napoca, I don't think there were any surprises.
Our representative Aurora defeated Astralis 2-0, securing their place in the quarter-finals. Astralis didn't perform particularly well on their chosen map, Overpass. Aurora, however, staged a remarkable comeback on their chosen map, Dust2, winning the match 2-0. Woxic was one of the standout players of the day and played a major role in securing this victory for his team.
Our other representative, FUT, narrowly lost to Parivision. FUT lost in overtime on the Dust2 map; had they won that map, they might have also secured a spot in the quarter-finals, but it wasn't to be. lauNX's solo performance wasn't enough. Parivision was the better team overall.
