Was wondering what kind of mindset s1mple was in coming into this tournament after seeing the article from HLTV.org early before their match started off stage 2.

That is insane for Faze to lose to B8 who I needed to check who this team consists of because I had never seen them play before. They are from the Ukraine.

Just started watching pAIN gaming up against Nemiga.
Back to best of 1 matches once again so expect some upsets.

Since those dota2 matches being played for TI qualifiers during the week.

That's another one, it's for the Esports World Cup and all of these qualifiers are happening at the same time. So, most of the top teams that didn't get a direct invite needs to go along with the other hopefuls to come to Germany to play.

While The International regional qualifier is on going, maybe others haven't noticed it yet that the Esports World Cup qualifiers are also on going on all of the regions. And here are the teams that have already qualified and got a direct invite for this tournament, the prize is not yet known but we're having the idea that it will be millions again.

It's a good thing the qualifiers aren't conflicting, so teams don't have to worry about missing one of the two big tournaments, unlike in CS2.

We've got another stacked weekend as League of Legends also has some playoff matches between several regions (LCK, LEC, LPL, and LTA).

Yeah, that's actually a good management there from both tournaments. They don't want to mess the schedules of the players and so, they've given some good time for both qualifiers.

Team Falcons always seemed they never had their gameplay in-sync between the players from the very start.
Remember when they kept signing players from other teams just for the name recognition. S1mple was one of them but he rode the bench and never did play until they loaned him out to Faze where he is finally getting some more tournament play.

Yeah I have to agree with you there the TI and EWC qualifiers was much more interesting than this Blast.tv major in Austin.

Also, when you're on the losing side and down 0-2, it's not easy to remain happy or get hyped knowing they're one step closer to getting eliminated.

I thought it was done and dusted when they quickly got into the site and dropped two MIBR players, but they whiffed too many shots during the retake.

The last two rounds of stage two are getting spicy, as Faze also lost to 3dmax earlier. They still have one more shot later against MIBR, but I wouldn't be surprised if they fall short for the third time while MIBR completes the reverse sweep from 0-2 to 3-2.

yea that was such an unreal round to lose by falcons.
they were supposed to be the ones to contest vitality, now looks like a free major win for zywoo

The scenes at this Austin Major is nuts as the above poster just said aswell.
Team Falcons falling just short to MiBR are making the rounds on CounterStrike social media with calling it a disaster and choke at the major.

Didn't know that Faze lost to 3dmax, so it must of been a match later in the day.
But there goes s1mple trying to make up for lost time with another team other than Falcons.

No matter how much money you have , no matter how great your team is , no matter how many superstars you have in your team ...you cannot win if you play old CS style and that is Zonic fault right ? Because other one than him , I cannot blame anyone because all falcons players tried to avoid elimination but I haven't saw Zonic once being clutch during timeouts ...not a single time.

Well we don't have any matches today in CS2 to continue on with their tournament so I began watching the regionals for TI instead.

Thanks for mentioning me, to be honest. I've bet for two matches there and I've lost my money on Yakults brother and Vici Gaming. It seems that these legends of rosters is not the same as before. I've skipped the game in the North America for Wildcard gaming and Shopify Rebellion. I've got another bet on the CN qualifiers and will still try to go with Yakults brothers against Tearlaments. And the SA qualifier was already done and congratulations to Heroic for getting that slot.

How many of those have won your bets? I was able to bet on a series that you didn't list and that's the Liquid and LVG. But unfortunately, Liquid seemed to have hard time beating LVG. We're now moving on to the round 2. This is going to be long rounds up to round 5 and I think this is the same bracketing for most of the dota 2 tournaments but I am not used to this format when I've seen it. Games are starting within 10 minutes for round 2.

Bo1 games are unpredictable in this major, and i kinda expected a lot of upsets after how stage 2 went, and i was not wrong. Vitality lost to Legacy, G2 lost to 3dmax, Faze lost to Aurora, Liquid lost to LVG, and all of them were one sided games.
i'm honestly surprised by how well Legacy and LVG are playing, they may even make it to the playoffs.

Do you think Ame can finally win the Aegis TI this year? I don’t really watch dota 2 live games much anymore, but I do keep up with replays and YouTube clips. I also regularly check the Liquipedia standings for Dota 2 tournaments. And I see those quilifying rounds for Xtreme gaming so easy win.
In the last DreamLeague Xtreme Gaming didn’t even make it to Groupstage 2. Usually PARIVISION who are dominating the major Dota 2 tournaments. What team do you think has the best chance of winning TI this year? Can't find any outright for TI. If you see any please drop here.

Gotta wait and see how good they are on EWC though but its going to be a tough year for sure.

On an offline tournament, Team Liquid is practically the best. Tundra on the other hand is pretty solid and would most likely placed top 3. PARIVISION is a new rising star that dominates the field but Team Spirit on the other hand is a dominating team as well before they decided to skip most of the tournaments so yeah I think the winner would be either one of these 4 teams

Even though Xtreme Gaming has a good roster, I don't see them winning it all when they didn't look that convincing in the recent DreamLeague tournament. I'd even go as far as saying Tidebound and Yakult Bros have the better chance of producing better results on the international stage.

Those outright odds might take some time since we still have another set of closed qualifiers this week.

Yesterday was wild in Austin where right from the start you just knew it was going to be one of those days.
Immediately when Vitality were losing so badly to Legacy, who infact stopped their unbeaten record since they had not lost a match back when Aurora were still Eternal Fire, for the opening match.
It just got worse from there with all favorites falling. That is when I stopped watching the Blast.tv tournament.
And yes the best of 1 are very unpredictable to place bets on. As this display of CounterStrike showed.

Later in the day, Lynn Vision lost and so did Legacy after tuning back several hours to witness the end of their matches later in the day.

Qyite the day of upsets if you had the guts to bet on the heavy underdogs to grab odds @7c & @11c.
That is for certain and some brave individuals infact did just that!
