I like to see the over/under line, I'll probably bet on the under here as I expect a KO win by Canelo, and with what happened during the press conference, I think Canelo has the motivation to KO Caleb Plant and the fight will end before 6 rounds.

To be frank i am yet to watch a Caleb Plant fight live even though i have seen some of his past fights when this fight was announced against Canelo Alvarez and i cannot find anything that could create a problem for the great Canelo. I am also looking to place a bet on rounds rather than going for the money line.

The press conference antics was there to promote the fight and it looks like it paid off as everyone i taking about the fight.

Not sure if this is set up or what, but from what I've seen yeah, more hype have been created after that press conference scuffle.

About the small odds. Instead of wasting my limited budget to win with a 1.08 odd, I would better make a bet on a different event and get more. That what I was trying to say.

Indeed! Canelo break those records and give both fighters their first losses, probably a big chance that will also happen with Plant.

He might be another champion without any loses but facing Alvarez might give him one, I don't know how this one would end up as it also being said that Plant can last long and maybe he can pushed this fight to decision and not a KO.

If you wanted to gamble and you have a strong belief with Alvarez, taking that bet for 8 round KO will give you decent, unlike with straight ML in which you can only win 1.08 odd.

If not the fight could end in < 10 rounds, with Canelo winning either by KO/TKO. So still this fight is hard to predict, although Canelo is the favorite, we are looking for the rounds wherein he can win. That could work for Caleb against lesser opponents but this is not going to work against Canelo, Canelo is considered to be one of the best boxers pound by pound so it would be a mistake to carry that cockiness to the ring and even to his training, Canelo unlike other boxers in the past is incredibly professional with his preparation for each fight and it is unlikely he is taking for granted that he is the favorite, and the only way for Caleb to have a chance of beating him is to have the same attitude.

And I have seen posts comparing Canelo to Anthony Joshua earlier as well, in this thread. You can compare Caleb with Usyk (still I would say that Usyk is a more classy athlete), but I don't think that it is logical to compare an all time great like Canelo with a overhyped motormouth like AJ. Given the recent thrash talk from the part of Caleb, actually it will suit more if you compare Caleb with AJ.

Let us not discuss cancellation because it's so frustrating to know that the fight we have been waiting for will just be cancelled, some fights this year has been cancelled already, hopefully, it's not a trend this year. It's really a fight worth waiting for, in my opinion the fight will be full of revenge and also emotions so that the fight will run full of blood, canelo has a great opportunity to silence caleb in the ring for the insults that caleb has done in the face off session, and I think both boxers have their respective advantages but in terms of experience it is clear that I think Canelo is superior and I personally bet on that fight for Canelo's victory.

^^ I would love to see a toe to toe battle as well in the early rounds. And maybe Caleb can take advantage of Canelo being a slow starting and could earn some points in the judges eye. Billy Joe did this strategy, but he seems to run out of gas and that's why Canelo was able to take over, forcing Billie Joe to quit. So Caleb will need to start hot and able to sustain it and be ready if Canelo's started to get his rhythm going around round 4. And then switch to being a boxer, uses his jab more. It's going to be a chess match if Caleb wanted to pull an upset.

I guess Caleb is not that good to beat Canelo in the early rounds, that strategy could be useful for some elite fighters but for Caleb, I doubt that.
