Testing latest TBMiner version vs GMiner. Here below results after about 10 hours: TBMiner (ver 1.19) GMiner (ver 2.70) Honestly I don't know what to say, despite TBMiner shows more hashrate, GMiner is always providing more shares to the pool... Even shares per minute calculation seems wrong, since both miners startd at the same time.

Crashes after one minute of running with --kernel 0, 1, 4, 6, 8.
I am using default clocks during the initial start of TBM.
try with --no-stats. And then without --lock-cclock. The dag verification code will be improved in v1.20. With options to create the dag slower. Adding the parameter "--no-stats" fixed the issue! Any chance as to why this parameter prevents the crashing of the miner in this version versus the previous ones?

Even shares per minute calculation seems wrong, since both miners startd at the same time. I've got the same result. The higher reported hashrate on the TBM then on the Gminer but much more shares on the Gminer. 3 days testing on 12x 1660S. 6 GPUs on the Gminer and 6 GPUs on the TBM. Honestly, I've got to say the TBM lies about the hashrate similarly like the Phoenix miner does. I'm back on Gminer at this moment.

This must be a crazy pool with TBM issue because I see much better share rates with 2Miners than I ever did before. Right now it seems the AMD cards are over-reporting share rate on the client side, but there's a lot of different tweaking that might need to be done. On my 3090 I see the 6 hour average hash rate equal or higher than the stated has rate quite often. To be fair, it seems like there can be a lot of variability in the pool side values, but at least for me I'm seeing a definite benefit (460 MH/s vs 480 MH/s on my AMD rig and 126 vs 132 on my 3090)

I'm still not able to make TBlackMiner work. I've installed the 1.19 from HiveOs, and this is the screenshot of the Miner console. As you can see is printing multiple time per second the hashrate of each GPU, and still 3 GPU are not recognized. Then they go in timeout and exit, the system freezes, I've to phisically reboot. All are RX 580. I've no problem with other miners. https://ibb.co/9VqVY65I'm also having the same issue on Hiveos, all rejected shares Coin: ETC Pool: miningpoolhub GPUs: 4 x RX570 4GB

We had the wrong linux build of the v1.19 build that was included in hiveos. A new one has been uploaded to the same place. Hashrates will fluctate on high difficulty, sometimes higher sometimes lower, this is normal https://github.com/sp-hash/TeamBlackMiner/blob/main/FAQ.mdAbout the hashrate, better results on pools that pay for stale shares. It's not about rejected shares, its about the way the protocol and pool work that is the problem. Increase the intensity : +2-3% Mine on a pool that pay for stale shares: +1.5% +4.5% better poolside hashrate if you change the pool. - Crazypool doesn't pay for stale shares - Flexpool doesn't pay for stale shares
I'm also having the same issue on Hiveos, all rejected shares Coin: ETC Pool: miningpoolhub GPUs: 4 x RX570 4GB
Your clocks are too high. When you see the hashrate drop to 0 and time out, reduce the clocks. This kernel is different from the other miners and need a retuning of the clocks. Lower clocks and increased intensity can increase the hashrate and the profit. Set the intensity manually to increase stability [moderator's note: consecutive posts merged]

The ethereum blockchain pay 87.5% for level 1 stale shares. It's called uncle blocks. 6 levels of stale shares are payed, but the lower levels have a lower payout. When a mining pool reject your stale work they can actually take your money. Most pools pay for stale work, but the percentage can be reduced. Read the faq. This is not a miner problem. The Team Black miner is made by the people who made the first opensource Ethereum miners for NVIDIA. Rejecting stale shares is dangerous for the security of the blockchain by design and should be avoided. https://github.com/sp-hash/TeamBlackMiner/blob/main/FAQ.mdThe bitcoin blockchain and other coins that based on this blockchain doesn't reward stale work but the same rules doesn't apply for ethereum. Only a few ethereum mining pools doesn't pay for stale shares.

Same on my side, not working with rx 580
Edit: also tested with the Linux version from git and replacing the hiveos version. Same thing RX580 cards are not recognized.

What pools will pay for stales? Thanks
https://github.com/sp-hash/TeamBlackMiner/blob/main/FAQ.mdMore than 50% of the network is rewarding stale work: - miningpoolhub (100% reward for stale shares) - 2miners (100% reward for stale shares) - nanopool (100% reward for stale shares) - antpool (100% reward for stale shares) - Spiderpool (100% reward for stale shares) - F2Pool(100% reward for stale shares) - uupool(100% reward for stale shares) - xnpool.com(100% reward for stale shares) - woolypooly (100% reward for stale shares) - ezil (70% reward for stale shares) -hiveon (80% reward for stale shares) And there are more...

More than 5% stale. The point is that 2miners will reject your shares if you have more than 5% stales. If you get 100% accepted shares you are good.
Adding the parameter "--no-stats" fixed the issue! Any chance as to why this parameter prevents the crashing of the miner in this version versus the previous ones? A bug intruduced in 1.19, fixed in 1.20. [moderator's note: consecutive posts merged]

Well, for my cards, 3070 and 3060ti (NoN LHR) shall I use: -Z (since they are all nvidia) --lock-cclock [1500,1500] --kernel 8 --xintensity -1 (since I am on 2miners pool) ? Using HiveOS and P0 state, miner ver .19 Also, getting this msg "Cannot open nvidia-smi for gpu utilization information" when it starts.

on 2miners try --lock-cclock [1500,1500] --kernel 8 --xintensity 768 -1 is for AMD cards. Also, getting this msg "Cannot open nvidia-smi for gpu utilization information" when it starts.
Reinstall the driver. stats will not work properly without nvidia-smi

I am on HiveOS (Linux) no afterburner there HiveOS over/underclocks your GPUs independently of the miner. Do the overclocking for each card in the HiveOS worker screen not the miner.

2nd question Am I the only one who can't connect to ethermine server? Even the pre made ''tbminer_ethermine_eth'' file doesnt work. gj again for this wonderfull miner!! A1!!
I am trying to disable TBM on my LHR card because the result are not as good as with other miner. However when I disable GPU 0,4 it give me this error. Tried to use --cuda-devices [1,2,3,5] --cl-devices [6,7] it works for disabling the GPU's 0 and 4 but will not mine with AMD GPU like it does not even take the "--cl-devices" argument.
I don't know how I can solve this can you maybe help on this one ?
I can help! Try -Y [1,2,3,5,6,7] [moderator's note: consecutive posts merged]
