Better check very carefully if the address from you got the message is 100% compatible with 4444sport. It's very easy to get confused with the number of fours. Surely, scammers will try to take advantage of this by sending links to phishing websites.

I don't think anyone should blame you for that, but some users are very sensitive.
It is possible that you do not know about it yet, but if someone reports it to the administration, for sending such messages you can very easily be banned for at least a few days. So I rather recommend caution

Lesson learned for you, not all users are welcome to private message especially if the users do not know about your site. If you want to invites some users to clear their doubt, it would be better if you open a review bounty publicly. Ask user to try your site and make a honest review then you give them a small reward.

eh, not really. I've seen a lot of promotions/give-aways being abused by people who use multiple newbie accounts to join the promotion. I think they made a good decision with this one.

The invitation should be in your official thread not on your inbox you can post your promotion here and ask who wants to get an invite, you'll be flag for doing this, it's ok for people to have doubts about a new site, your task is to make them believers to your project by being transparent and answering their queries here in your official thread.

Depends...If it will be free promotion, I am sure have a limit for higher rank is better choice so no chance for abuse but if it will be paid promotion where participants need to make bet or need to pay an entry free, it is fine to skip the rank requirement.
