^^ I will go with Mason by knockout mate, that odds is already appealing for me, so I might throw some money on him. There's a lot of hype on Mason right now and I think the bandwagon will continue as this fight could be an easy one for him.

For sure, Cordina is heart broken that he can't fight in the US moving forward. But it is what it is, Trump administration is very strict with regards entry to the US regardless if you are a sports athlete or not.

Just a matter of which round Mason will knock out Bell in this fight.

Mason did not have it easy, but he still got the knockout in the final round. Mason did what he had to do and came out strong in the 12th round where he dropped Bell twice. There is some controversy because it looked like the second knockdown was a result of a push. Bell was getting hurt, but that should not have been what caused the stoppage.

Mason should take this experience and learn from it. He is a young champion that still has room for improvement.

I only saw the highlights, but it could be due to the change of opponent? I remember Manny vs Ugas, Ugas was a late replacement and upset Manny Pacquaio in that fight. And this could be the same case if not for Mason for coming thru in the last round as he knows he is behind the score in the judges.

And yes, he should learn from this that it's not going to be a easy fight for him moving forward specially everyone is trying to get the championship belt from him.

^^ Berlanga has lost his hype already, yes he could be the favorite, but this could be just a tailor made fight for him to bring his confidence back. And Zuffa could be banking that he won't lost this one again as it could be over for him.

It’s incredible how far Berlanga has come when his most notable accomplishment was knocking out some bums early in his career. He’s been in a PPV main event against Canelo, headlined a Ring Magazine card, and has signed big promotional contracts with Matchroom and now Zuffa. That is probably why he is so arrogant. Despite his mediocrity, he continues to get opportunities to earn millions of dollars.

Personally i see Edgar Berlanga as an overhyped fighter, he just landed a fight with Canelo Alvarez because of his undefeated record and high knockout ratio. Against Alvarez, i could say that he was a bit lucky that he withstood the barrage of Alvarez or might be that Alvarez is already fading since he could knockout Berlanga because on Berlanga's next fight he was KO'ed by Hamzah Sheeraz. This fight i think is to bring back the confidence of Berlanga, he should win this one but this could not be an easy fight because Butler is also a knockout artist and one punch could sway the favor 360 degrees. I might place a bet for Butler but will wait until two days before the fight as the odds might change that time.

Charly Suarez won his fight against Avila in just one round stoppage.



We all know that the Navarette vs Suarez fight ends in controversy one year ago when they fought.

It ended when the ring physician says that the cut was too deep for Navarette to continue. Referee Edward Collantes ruled that an inadvertent clash of heads caused the cut. And so it goes to the judges scorecard as Naverette was slightly ahead.

But the match was overturn into no NC as the replay shows that it was a punch and not a head clash that cause that cut.

However, Navarette didn't get Suarez a rematch. Hopefully after this win, Emmanuel Navarette will finally gave Charly Suarez a much needed rematch.

I speculate that because of uncle Dana's guidance on Zuffa Boxing, they might correctly market Berlanga and he will certainly become more popular because of this! That's what I also read though, that Navarette will fight Foster next. It's just very unfortunate for our very own Suarez not to have another crack at Navarette to that point that I think that Navarette is afraid of Suarez.

Although he could be thinking of a better path for his career and better payday too that's why Foster might be the best opportunity for him as he will still have the majority belt after all. Or if by chance he won against Foster, then he might go and fight Suarez next.

Boxing politics as it's finest. Although Suarez could be a good boxer and his mandatory, this boxing bodies are looking for the best fight for their champion and might not force their mandatory as in this case.

So yes, I do agree, it's been a year since they fought and that Navarette should be strip to give way for Charly to be at least their interim or fight for the belt.

Foster vs Navarette will be explosive fight nonetheless and that's where fight fans might gravitate.
