In my opinion, Tik Tok is one of the platforms that contributes to the degradation of users. I know some people who can no longer imagine their life without TikTok. Instead of filling their heads with useful information and developing, they keep leafing through the TikTok feed and consume a huge amount of completely useless information. This is a great example of how technology can create a negative impact on people.

That is what they say that it was the tiktok's fault. Those people that can't live their lives without tiktok can be considered addicts already. I am afraid that they can carry this habit by the time they tried gambling if they haven't yet. If they are already involved with gambling, maybe those people are also an addicted gamblers. That was very alarming and this things should be stop now.

Technology was supposed to help improved the people's lives and not to cause them harm but I think it wasn't the tiktok's fault alone but it was also the fault of the person that gets addicted. They don't have a control for themselves and they put the blame to something else.

I wouldn't say it depends on technology or corporations. Human society in one way or another is divided into different communities of interest and to a greater extent it depends on the personal view of each individual. A person who values his time will not spend it in TikTok understanding that it is better to spend free time on self-education or improvement of the skills that help him move through life. I feel the same about people who gamble on a daily basis.

Yes gambling is also a business and to be able for a business to run the management need to think how to attract more customers especially loyal gamblers and even let's say there is a customer manipulation existed then it is called as their marketing strategy to keep their customers. And I believe transitioning offline casinos to online casinos like even adopting metaverse is just a smart move of a gambling business to keep their customers engaged with them.

This what we called adaptive and innovative because if ever you are still an offline casino when the pandemic hurts then i am pretty sure that your business is already closed by now . The decrease didn't happen each year but it all started after tiktok became a trend, other platforms are then following. Have you noticed that youtube are slowly turning into tiktok? because on youtube they also introduced a new feature called youtube shorts, where you can create a small clip just like what is seen on tiktok.

The idea is nice because some people are busy and can't finish a long video but they can be able to finish a clip under 1 minute. Having that no skip button is helpful to see the whole video but it does make sense since adding a skip button will instantly end a video xd. Tiktok is indeed addicting but I don't think it can lead to gambling. Both things are different.

but we can't deny that the impact of marketing on tiktok now has a huge impact on a product, let alone the marketing of gambling sites.  if used optimally and wisely, tiktok has quite a positive impact on many people, especially those who want to market their products widely and quickly then tiktok is one of the best choice.

That's what I also see that in the future, if there's a casino, there's also going to be a rehab for the addicted casino customers. So, it's go win-win for them.
But I think that they'll be put into that business due to the government policy even if they don't want to. The policies that would protect the customers although there will be some confusing policies towards that and criticisms would come in if that happens.

Yes, TikTok marketing has a big influence on a product. But people should also understand that TikTok also has a lot of negative impacts on young people who follow their idols. I think we already have those 'niche' gambling platforms in the real world, though they aren't heard of that much because only a few can actually afford 'staying' in there. Also, it will only cater to the ultra elite, hence the creation of many of these things will be very limited. There isn't much profit to be had, and also the mindset of most gamblers isn't to gamble in luxury, but to gamble and win. I think that is pretty possible too and I don't think it is hard to develop a gambling game like that. It is perfect for games like poker and games that is usually being played by multiple people on a real life casinos. Ofcourse it will make people more addicted. Social media sites are promoting stuffs that will increase smartphone usage.
Especially they are trying to add features to their own apps which will make people to use those particular apps for a longer time.
I am just worried that these apps doesn't add features like small games and connect it to their friends.
If that happens then it might surely increase overall smartphone usage and an increase in gambling habits.

Yes that's right.  These skills can also be used in gambling (for example, in poker). 

The ability to concentrate attention is a basic skill of a modern person.  This skill can be developed by practicing meditation.  A full 8-9 hours of sleep is also very important. 

Also in the future there will definitely be people with a very wide range of perception of information.  They will be able to simultaneously perceive and process various verbal, tactile, visual and sound information.  They will use formal logic and at the same time perceive reality in a very wide emotional range. 

Such people are not threatened by information overload.
