The Russian army's success in the Kursk region is due to the large number of drones on fiber optic lines, Brigadier General Pavlo Palisa, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, stated in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.

Let's see how they will explain the future success of the Russian army. Because now they started talking about their "peremoga" (victory) again.

Yesterday I saw a news report that Russia returned the bodies of about 1,000 soldiers to Ukraine. Although this number seems huge, returning 1,000 bodies does not mean that so many people died in one day. Perhaps they kept many bodies together and later collected them together and exchanged them.

Forgot to mention that "Ukraine handed over ‌41 dead Russians".

Have you wondered why exactly 1000? Why wouldn't Ukraine accept more bodies, and why Russia must keep the bodies until Ukraine decides to accept them? Let me provide a hint

The new rules will apply to cases of death officially certified by a death certificate, effective from September 1, 2025. For family members of deceased service members whose deaths were certified before this date, the procedure and payment terms remain unchanged.

According to the amendments to the relevant orders:

the total amount of the OFA [One-time Financial Assistance] remains unchanged at UAH 15 million;

Before bodies are returned and identified dead soldiers are just considered MIA missing in action.

UAH 15 million is about 300.000€ so that's almost a third of a billion EU needs to send to Ukraine, just for that one exchange!

Plus 1000:41 already doesn't look good for morale or made up numbers of dead that they claim
