Zelensky is preparing his escape. He is well aware that he could lose his life along with the whole of Ukraine that he has failed so miserably.

Breaking news no one could've possibly expected. Sending money to the most corrupt nation in Europe leads to that nation stealing funds, and asking for more money. Shocking! Who could've possible seen this coming  Shocked

I spoke with NABU Director Semen Kryvonos, SAPO Prosecutor Oleksandr Klymenko, Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko, and Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Maliuk. We discussed various challenges, all of them. The anti-corruption infrastructure will work, only without Russian influence – it needs to be cleared of that. And there should be more justice. Of course, NABU and SAPO will work. And it is important that the Prosecutor General is determined to ensure that in Ukraine the inevitability of punishment for those who go against the law is actually ensured. This is what Ukraine really needs. The cases that have been lying dormant must be investigated. For years, officials who have fled Ukraine have been casually living abroad for some reason – in very nice countries and without legal consequences – and this is not normal. There is no rational explanation for why criminal proceedings worth billions have been “hanging” for years. And there is no explanation why the Russians can still get the information they need. Important is – without Russians. Important is – to have an inevitability of punishment and that society really sees it.

First Zelensiy tried to outlaw NABU and SAPO claiming it was of course under Russian influence.

Then

Ukraine corruption scandal explained: The $100M plot rocking Zelenskyy.
...Ukrainian anti-corruption agencies revealed Monday that some of Zelenskyy’s close associates were allegedly involved in a plot to skim around $100 million from Ukraine’s energy sector.
...
Ukraine’s state anti-corruption watchdogs — the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, or NABU, and the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, or SAP — dismantled an alleged criminal organization that consisted of current and former energy officials, a noted businessman, government ministers and a former deputy prime minister.
...
The agency said five of the seven alleged participants in the scheme have been detained. The group is accused of manipulating contracts at Energoatom, Ukraine’s state nuclear energy company, to extract kickbacks worth 10-15 percent of contract values. Investigators say the network laundered roughly $100 million through a secret Kyiv-based office.
...
Businessman Timur Mindich, a close ally of Zelenskyy, might be the most interesting name in the crosshairs of prosecutors — but more on him later.

The most prominent is current Justice Minister German Galushchenko, who was suspended from his post Wednesday morning. He was energy minister until July before Zelenskyy reshuffled his government.
...
Oleksiy Chernyshov, former deputy prime minister of Ukraine and a close ally of Zelenskyy, was identified in NABU recordings under the codename “Che Guevara.” NABU charged him with illicit enrichment, alleging he received about $1.2 million and nearly €100,000 through the money-laundering network.
...
Another top official named was Ihor Myroniuk, an ex-adviser to Galushchenko and former deputy head of the State Property Fund. Myroniuk’s lawyer called accusations that his client illicitly enriched himself and was a member of criminal organization baseless.
...
But there’s also another ongoing investigation into alleged graft involving inflated military procurement contracts, and more NABU raids on the defense ministry are expected in the coming days.
...
According to prosecutors, Rustem Umerov, former defense minister and current secretary of Ukraine’s State Security and Defense Council, was pressured to agree to buy cheaply made Chinese bulletproof vests for inflated prices in another case investigated by NABU.
...
According to NABU, the alleged ringleader in the purported energy sector kickbacks plot is Mindich, a co-owner of the president's Kvartal 95 film production company.

Since Zelenskyy was elected in 2019 as president, Mindich has developed financial interests in several industries.

The 46-year-old is from the city of Dnipro and was a former business partner of Ukrainian oligarch Ihor Kolomoisky, who helped fund Zelenskyy’s successful presidential election campaign..
...
According to NABU, Mindich was tipped off and fled to Israel prior to being charged in the energy case. The agency is now investigating who might have alerted him.
...
In the summer, Zelenskyy’s office and the parliament in Kyiv tried to strip the independence of NABU and SAP and place them under the supervision of Ukraine’s prosecutor general, a political appointee.

The move, which coincided with signs that the watchdogs were probing presidential insiders, prompted the first major anti-government street protests since Russia’s full-scale invasion began in 2022.

With the EU also urging a rethink, Zelenskyy reversed course.

Only $100MM, I'm sure he can get Europe to send more. But Ukraine doesn't control NABU, it's pretty much run by the "west", so looks like a clear message been send to Zelenskiy, lets see how much longer he can refuse to sign the peace deal

Let's see who picked Ukrain's NABU director that's now shacking up Zelensiy's government

Let us remind you that representatives from international partners delegated to the commission are: Karen Greenaway, former FBI Special Agent, International Corruption Unit; Drago Kos, Chair of the OECD Working Group on Bribery; and Povilas Malakauskas, former Director of the Lithuanian National Security Department.

The title of this thread is total misleading. Russia didn't invade Ukraine in 2022. Rather, Russia entered 5 new little countries by invitation in the area that I call the Black Sea Corridor.

These 5 new countries had formerly been part of Ukraine. People there speak both Ukraine and Russian. But when the people of these 5 countries formed their new countries - as the UN Charter allows - Ukraine attacked them to try to force them back into Ukraine, or kill off the people there so Ukraine could seize the lands. Ukraine felt that it had the right, because these countries had formerly been oblasts of Ukraine. And they are erroneously still being called oblasts of Ukraine.

Since they were 5, new, fledgling countries, Russia didn't really invade Ukraine. Rather, Russia simply, by invitation from the 5, tried to help these 5 new countries to resist Ukrainian abuse. You can see that this is the fact by what Russia is doing. Russia is working with the people of those little countries, while Ukraine is trying to kill the people. You know that Ukraine is trying to kill them by the fact of almost 2 million troops they killed by throwing them at the Russian military.

Ukraine and the West don't care about people. All they want is land. Watch out for them, because if you give them half a chance, they will try to steal your land, too.

Meanwhile, Russia is working very successfully in helping the people of Mariupol rebuild their city. It's coming along nicely. Ukraine troops need to leave the rest of the areas of the 5 new countries - that they still call Ukrainian oblasts - so that Russia can help rebuild them, too.

 Grin Grin Grin

The bad part is that many good people of the West, believe all the garbage that their corrupt media shows them. If they didn't believe, they would have risen up long ago, and straightened their countries out. There would be peace between Russia and Ukraine.

The worst country is the US... the government, not the good people there. The people don't realize how their banking system is screwing them. Why don't they realize it? Because the banking system lets them share in the conquest it is doing of other lands of the world. They don't realize the bloodbaths that the banking system has caused, so they support their banks.

There is really only one way out. The way is getting into the Bible, realizing the truth about God and the universe and salvation, and then changing by becoming moral, not warmonger fighting.

Putins problem, he has loyal people instead of competend in positions. He himself is KGB not a military men,  the Baker Cooking.
For more than two decades, Vladimir Putin hat something that looked on the surface like a modern state, sleek, wealthy, confident.
But in truth, it was never a country. It was/(stilll is) a cartel, a pyramid of power held together not by ideology or law, but by money, fear, and silence.
The silence is breaking for the first time since Putin took office back in 1999, when Russia was broke, chaotic, humiliated, we are now watching the system he built begin to consume itself.
The very oligarchs who once toasted his strong leadership with French champagne and London pent houses are now trying to get their names off the wrong lists, keep their jets from being grounded. To keep their accounts from being frozen.
According to the EU and UK sanction registries, more than 1,800 Russian individuals and entities are now under financial restrictions. That includes virtually every billionaire who mattered to Putin's inner economy. Roman Abramovich, Oleg Derapasca, Miky Friedman, Alashir Usmanov, Igor Section. Together, those men once controlled about a third of Russia's GDP. Now, most can't even use a credit card outside Moscow. When those sanctions hit, when yachts were seized in Mayorca, when London froze those anonymous shell accounts, when villas in Sardinia suddenly had under investigation signs on the gates, the Kremlin brushed it off. Putin laughed. He said, "Let them eat their yachts."
For 20 years, Putin's power worked like a feudal economy in modern clothing. You didn't earn wealth, you received it as a privilege for obedience.
If you crossed the boss, you lost everything. If you stayed loyal, you lived like a king.
The system starting to fail because fear, fear only works when people believe the system can still protect them. Right now, that belief is gone.
1.3 million Russians, have left the country since the invasion of Ukraine began. The Kremlin calls this economic adaptation.
You can't build a national myth on imported microchips, Western credit, and yachts named Graceful and Solaris.
You can't shout about sovereignty while your billionaires store half the country's wealth offshore accounts in Cyprus, Monaco, and the Cayman Islands. That's not sovereignty.
Even the Orthodox Church, one of Putin's most obedient institutions, has started speaking in careful euphemisms about the need for peace.
There want be peace as long as Crimeas are not in Crimea. When the dust has settled even Japan will get is't islands back (Kuril).

How far do you want to go back in history to see the corruption in the government of Russia?

The Czars were corrupt in the ways they ruled. The Communists/Marxists of the Bolshevik Revolution were no better, even though they talked 'freedom'. The West banking systems have taken control of the people of the Western governments, and reduced their freedom so that they are taxed; you can see it in the poverty of many of the Western peoples.

This is the standard. It's called STRENGTH, and SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST, by those who have the strength.

If you think that Ukraine and Zelensky are any better, you are missing a lot. Ukraine has for a long time been called one of the most corrupt nations of the world. In the labs of Kiev is where there are developments of mRNA BIOLOGICAL WARFARE which are being built... except that Russia may have taken them out in the early days of the war.

Russia is simply limiting the nuclear war activity it could be doing, because a few leaders like Putin (and Trump in America) understand that there would be no return from a nuclear war. Seems that the leaders of the EU don't understand this, because they keep on trying to push Russia to use nukes.

One can spout the details of history and supposed history all over the place. But trying to fit it all into a brief statement is difficult.          I'm innocent... Lol.

How To Start War With Russia – A British Think Tank Has Ideas

https://www.lewrockwell.com/2025/11/no_author/how-to-start-war-with-russia-a-british-think-tank-has-ideas/
Once a while the writers at RUSI, the British Ministry of Defense think tank, produce some valuable research. Mostly though they are out to push war mongering nonsense. A recent piece in Foreign Affairs by Jack Waitling is of the later kind.

Ukraine's Hardest Winter – Foreign Affairs, Nov 11 2025

With the Donbas in Peril, Europe Must Pressure Russia Now

I'll leave the dozens of outright lies, false assertions and delusions therein for others to mock.

Waitling's main thesis is that more (economic) pressure on Russia will somehow press it towards a ceasefire without concessions from the Ukrainian side. But his suggestions on how to do that are all designed to drag Europe into an even more direct battle with Russia.

To support the Ukrainian campaign against Russia's oil industry the Europeans should close the Strait of Denmark:

For Ukraine's international partners, the question is whether they are prepared to match Ukraine's campaign against Russia's oil infrastructure with comparable real rather than performative pressure on Russia's economy. Above all, this means targeting Russia's shadow fleet: the hundreds of decrepit tankers, operating under flags of convenience, often without insurance or trained crew, to move its oil to India and China. This will require denying the 80 percent of Russian seaborne oil exports that pass through the Strait of Denmark and threatening secondary sanctions against the ports where shadow fleet vessels unload.

Some European governments—including Denmark—have cited the 1857 Treaty of Copenhagen, an international agreement that established tariff-free transit of commercial shipping through Danish waters, as a legal barrier to action. But this is an excuse rather than a real obstacle. The countries that have a Baltic coastline today, excluding Russia, could agree to a new treaty requiring ships to meet certain standards of insurance and certification to be allowed to navigate the Baltic—for example, on grounds of ecological protection. Since the aging vessels of the shadow fleet do not meet these requirements, such a treaty would deny them entry into the straits. This would not impinge on the principle of tariff-free transit for commercial shipping through Danish waters.
...

.................Ukraine and Zelensky are any better............
They cant be any better, because according to Putin, Zelensky is his brother, the same/equal.
But when he says the same, he really means the same/equal in communist style, where everone is equal, just some are more equal.

There is no nukes, only Hydrogen bombs like in hiroshima nagasaki.

But if you look, you will see that Putin doesn't accept that Zelensky is president of Ukraine. Yet, by Russian elections, Putin is president of Russia. But since Z doesn't allow elections, maybe there isn't any Ukraine(? ? ?) since his term expired months ago.

The war has duped or forced a bunch of Ukrainians to think that Z is their leader, which he might be. But then they are not really fighting for Ukraine. Rather, they are fighting for Z-land.

All that the people of the West see is what their media says, whether it is truth or not. This kind of believing doesn't make for reality.

There are always options, when there was no chance to hold positions Zaluzhnyi would try to save his troops. Let's be honest "west"'s goal has always been to cause as much damage to Russia as possible, saving Ukrainian lives or land was never a priority for the west. That's why they replaced Zaluzhnyi with General 200, for Ukraine to play the role it was intended to play, that of a sacrificial pawn.

KYIV — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wanted to give his military a shakeup by appointing General Oleksandr Syrskyi as commander-in-chief: many of his troops reacted with despair.

“Syrskyi will kill us all,” said one soldier, who like others in this story spoke on condition of being granted anonymity.

The 58-year-old Syrskyi, who until Thursday was the commander of Ukraine's ground forces, has a reputation as a hard-driving Soviet-style general who puts his men in danger to reach his military goals, said a person with knowledge of Syrskyi’s operating style.

That was highlighted by Syrskyi overseeing last year's dogged nine-month defense of Bakhmut, where Ukrainian troops suffered high casualties against relentless "meat waves" of Russian attackers before having to abandon the eastern city. That earned him the gruesome nickname of "Butcher."

On hearing of his appointment, a Ukrainian soldier tweeted a message in a group chat of veterans of the Bakhmut fight: "We're all fucked."

Another officer posted on X that Syrskyi's leadership "is bankrupt, his presence or orders coming from his name are demoralizing, and he undermines trust in the command in general. His relentless pursuit of tactical gains constantly depletes our valuable human resources, resulting in tactical advances such as capturing tree lines or small villages, with no operational goals in mind.”
...

And now

Zelenskyy and his generals have been criticized by some military bloggers and analysts in Ukraine and abroad for their perceived sluggishness in ordering retreats from doomed Donbas cities.

"The Ukrainians are committing to defending these towns, I would say, for too long," Paroinen said. "The Russians are already too deep, and I think in too many numbers inside Pokrovsk for Ukrainians to be able to throw them out."
...
"Defense-in-depth is not something the political leadership appreciates too much," Oleksandr V. Danylyuk -- an associate fellow at the Royal United Services Institute think tank in the U.K. and the chairman of the Center for Defense Reforms think tank in Kyiv -- told ABC News. "That's why I would rather expect the government to fight for as long as they can."
...
"Personally, I don't see any real military reason to actually fight for Pokrovsk," he said. "I understand political reasons. I understand symbolic reasons. And I believe that it is doable. It's just a matter of price. And I'm not quite sure if we need to pay the price."
...
"The General Staff reports to the top contain more and more lies every day," Deineha wrote in a post to Facebook. "In fact, we have practically already lost Pokrovsk, which means that holding Myrnohrad also makes no sense."

"We should not be afraid of rating drops, because there will be no elections: next year there will be war again. And someone will have to fight it," he added.

Everyone is playing dumb and pretending not to realize that saving Ukrainian lives is not the reason Syrskyi was picked to be Ukraine's top general.

You and your buddy are obviously having a good time while people are getting killed on both sides, right? The only thing that's stupid is your statements about saving the lives of Ukrainians while your angry Orcs are attacking them with all their might and wanting them dead. Surrender means defeat and death, for your countrymen leave behind nothing but death and scorched earth.

So Russia attacked Ukraine in order to harm itself with the help of the West? I really don't know if your minds are clouded by bad vodka or if you just enjoy death and destruction, but you and a few others posting in this thread seem like you're on the payroll of your crazy emperor...

Right, back to Russian orcs eating everyone who surrounds (despite the facts proving otherwise, like people coexisted just fine up to 2013, and are still coexisting just fine in Crimea, Donbas, Moscow etc...). [do some homework and look up current population of Ukrainians in Russia] So, you're arguing for Ukraine not to sign any peace deals and continue this slaughter? And Russians are the orcs in this  Roll Eyes

Your arguments are childish, and your refusal to comprehend that someone might disagree with you without being paid to do so, says more about you than me. Bringing this to it's basics, "west" tried to wrestle Ukraine from Russia with the coup detat and semi-softpower (cookies) in 2014, Russia is holding on to Ukraine with hard power (whether that's right or wrong can be argued but it is what it is). Once Russia switched this into the war of attrition, the outcome is inevitable. Now if the outcome has been decided why is this still continuing? Well, because idiot EU leaders escalated this to a point where now they got themselves into a corner. Now instead of reversing, they'll just keep wasting away their political points until ultra rights come into power in EU. So it's no longer about Ukraine (if it ever was) but about Europe moving to the right, and both Trump and Putin couldn't be more happy about this. But yeah keep ignoring this and yelling for Ukraine to fight until the last Ukrainian, how much lower should they drop the conscription age to your liking, would you prefer to see Ukraine start sending women to the front too, would that make you happy?

Ukraine faces ‘huge problems’ finding soldiers as men flee abroad, says Kyiv mayor

In an interview, Vitali Klitschko describes Russian troops attacking in relentless waves “like a video game” as he calls for the draft age to be lowered.

BRUSSELS — Ukraine is facing a worsening shortage of soldiers as record numbers of men flee to Europe, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko warned in an interview.

“We have huge problems with soldiers — with human resources,” Klitschko told the Axel Springer Global Reporters Network, of which POLITICO is a part, acknowledging the toll that nearly four years of war has taken on Ukraine’s capacity to replenish its ranks.
...
Under current rules, Ukrainians can be mobilized from the age of 25. Klitschko suggested that should change.

“In the past, 18-year-olds served in the army — but those are kids,” he said. “Right now you can only be mobilized in Ukraine from age 25. You could lower it by a year or two — to 23 or 22.

After eating the cookies, he wants what's best for Ukrainian population and not doing the bidding of those that put him in power, and there's is no conflict of interest here at all, right...right?

With respect to the previous post from DaRude... Use the example of modern medicine. If you can't talk the cancer out of your body, you cut, burn, poison it as best as you can. Of course, you let the doctor do it to you.

Thanks to doctor Russia for wiping out as much of the Ukrainian government cancer as they can. Too bad some Ukrainian people united themselves with the cancer, rather than fleeing the country and the evil, cancerous, Ukrainian government. Of course, they could have made sure of their elections. Ukraine is like Stalin: "It's not he who votes that counts, but he who counts the votes."

Russia attacked Ukraine as a defense, to prevent the attack of Ukraine from overthrowing Russia.
