Besides the name, what does this coin have to do with Australia? Unlike some of the other "country-coins" this doesn't seem to offer anything to the citizens of the country (Australians).

No innovation with the coin itself either, using regular old scrypt. Considering the power costs in Aus you'd think you would use a more energy efficient algorithm and introduce somthing like PoS. Otherwise this just another pump and dump coin (assuming you'll get any pump at all).

If this ever takes off I'll accept it on the NobleCoin Marketplace (get your Perth Mint gold/silver) just to support fellow Aussies, but I'll immediately sell what I get on the exchange because it's probably BS (and probably won't get that far anyway).

We are proud to say we are Australian. I will more than happily post a location stamped image with a daily local paper if you require.

For the Australians out there I can say AFL and NRL are competing football codes with the mighty Bulldogs from both codes being the superior team. I can also say we invented the pavlova not our kiwi cousins. I can tell you Melbourne is square and cold, Brisvegas really is nothing like Vegas and when in Sydney I love having a beer down at The Rocks.

The launch post states a .5% AUS for development and .5% AUS  bounty for business accepting AUS as we can directly deal with them as we  reside in Australia.

Seriously, I'm hoping this is released April 1st just so it can be a joke. I'm Australian and this coin looks like a pile of garbage and I can guarantee 100% that no-one (apart from the geeks here on this forum, maybe) in Australia will ever use it. WHEN WILL THE SHITCOINS END?!

Given the amount I pay in electricity costs here in Australia, I won't be mining this coin. Other factors such as the IPO and Premine (little greedy there aren't we??), the shitty looking logo... (you could have at least used the damn union jack and/or included some colourful mention of our aboriginal natives!), the lack of any innovation brought on by the coin, no free coins to fellow aussies given that this is yet another country coin and the fact I suspect (although I could be wrong) you're not even in Australia going by the countdown timer puts me off this coin. Way to shit on the country with another shitcoin there 'mate'. How very un-australian of you... Figures tho, you're probably not even australian Cheesy

We have used the red, white and blue which are the colors of the current Australia flag. Yes we understand the difference between the Aboriginal flag and the official Australian flag. Maybe there will be some incorporation of the 2 flags into the wallet.

When I first saw this ann, I was wondering to myself what looked so familiar.

The fonts and layout on the 1st page of this announcement are nearly exactly the same as the announcement for Greececoin.

Same font, same look ... first letter of the country is bolded the same. Maybe someone already noticed this, but it was bugging me, until I realized it.

Anyway, I won't yell scam, I won't tell people what to do with their money, but it wouldn't surprise me if we have a single dev simply churning out a lot of these country coins using the same format, and are being lazy about it.

Didn't think you did. Again, I just noticed the similarity between this announcement and Greece Coin.

There is one thread linking AP/Boxxa to Greece Coin (saying they stole it from Hellas coin). And those devs have already made Maza and MapleCoin. Same devs branching out to Australia, or a completely different team?

You haven't given a single reason to use this coin.  It has no free issue to citizens, unlike AUR, to increase the chance of adoption.  It's a basic scrypt clone so vendors would be better off taking established coins like BTC, LTC or even (god forbid) DOGE.  I don't see any reason for an IPO apart from making the devs money, it's not like you have built a thriving business and are now giving investors an opportunity to help you expand and make a return.  Lastly Australia's fiat currency is backed by the huge strength of the economy you speak of and so there is little risk of losing by holding Australian Dollars, the chance of hyperinflation or currency collapse is ridiculously remote.

Every coin can launch it's own way. We chose not to pre-mine 50% and distribute. We have offered a fair and stable release period for all AUS Coins. Any person with a PC has plenty of opportunity to come in and mine them. Scrypt is used so people have an opportunity now to mine and larger Scypt miners to offer greater hashrates to help strengthen the network. Being from Australia unlike most country coins, we are able to work with any implementation or direct help that may be needed locally and have a knowledge of the Australian environment.

If this is some kind of a joke then I feel sorry for you as a Fellow REAL Australian, no way would we use those Background colours (it looks like a Pepsi Branding), BTW you are obviously not Australian as we wouldn't call it Australiacoin it would be Australiancoin, or OzzieCoin, No brainwork has gone into this project, even a IPO, like WTF who IPO's these days unless it's a get rich quick scheme.

I am Totally Blown away by the Stupidity of the Devs, why not call it Bogan Coin if you are True Aussies, fair dinkum mate !

This just makes me hate all the knob Jockeys out there trying to claim on Our land, (Aboriginals Land Really).

Seriously, Step back and cancel this Piece of sh!t Idea, Because you will get Backlash Hardcore from the True Australians & the National Indigenous.

BTW it's AUS short for Australia, your Dev name AUD makes me wonder cause AUD is our Currency Symbol..... What a Joke !

1) Proof of this?

2) You didn't actually answer a single point I made, well done.

Every coin can launch it's own way. We chose not to pre-mine 50% and distribute. We have offered a fair and stable release period for all AUS Coins. Again, didn't actually deal with a single point I made.  The distribution is to increase awareness and take up by those not already interested or involved, miners don't need to be made aware.  If you are aware of the local environment you should be able to respond to my last point, with a dollar backed by a strong economy and well regulated banking system what motivation is there for people to use AustraliaCoin?

True but at moment at  least they do not have massive premine where coins supply is held in developers hands, so for investment opurtunity it should work and maybe devs will plan to expand on better coin air drop soon.

From another thread, but eerily accurate for this one:

HOPEFULLY WE WILL GET PLENTY OF COUNTRY COINS NEXT WEEKS. THIS COULD RESULT INTO A MORE CONTROLLABLE DISTRIBUTION OF THE POTENTIAL "SAVIORS" FOR EACH COUNTRY, AND THUS, WE CAN AVOID HITTING THE MAJOR NEWS AS SCAM PLATFORMS  !!!

WHO KNOWS, WE COULD EVEN GET A ROMANTIC PROFILE PICTURED BY THE MEDIA OF A BUNCH OF TECHNOGEEKS THAT ARE TRYING TO SAVE TROUBLED COUNTRIES  Grin.

/sarcasm on

GUIDE: HOW TO SAVE FINANCIALLY TROUBLED COUNTRIES !!!

FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING RECIPE FOR SOME QUICK MONEY SAVING A COUNTRY :
(BUT BEWARE YOU NEED TO HURRY, WE ARE ALMOST OUT OF COUNTRIES ! TIP: NORTH KOREA NEEDS SOME SAVING AND I AM PRETTY CONVINCED THAT SOUTH KOREANS ARE WILLING TO ACTUALLY AIRDROP USB's WITH THE WALLETS CONTAINING THE PREMINED COINS):

PHASE 1
- FIND A COUNTRY THAT YOU WANT TO "SAVE"
- COPY AN EXISTING COIN CODE (TRY NOT TO CLONE SOME COIN WITH FANCY FEATURES, THOSE NEED SOME EXPERTISE)
- RECOMPILE THE WALLETS (WITH YOUR LOGO)
- CREATE A WEBSITE (THESE DAYS PEOPLE WONT EVEN BOTHER TO WRITE THEIR OWN TEXT, JUST COPY SOME FANCY TEXT WITHOUT ANY REFERENCES)
- CREATE AN ANNOUNCEMENT ON BITCOINTALK (COPY WEBSITE TEXT HERE TIP: EVEN IF YOU ARE ALONE ALWAYS REFER TO YOURSELF IN PLURAL)
- GATHER UP SOME "USEFULL IDIOTS"(INTERNATIONALY ESTABLISHED TERM) IN YOUR THREAD (NO WORRIES THIS STEP HAPPENS AUTOMATICALLY)
- TRY TO IGNORE ANY REASONABLE QUESTIONS  AND POST SOME RANDOM TEXT CLAIMING WHATEVER YOU LIKE AT FREQUENT INTERVAL. TIP: EVEN SOME BADLY PHOTOSHOPED EVIDENCE CAN WORTH THEIR TIME IN GOLD AGAINST ANY REASONABLE BEYOND DOUBT ACCUSATIONS .
- PREMINE X% (ANYTHING FROM 10% - 90%! CHOOSE THE NUMBER WISELY, THAT'S YOUR INNOVATION)
- LAUNCH THE XCOUNTRYCOIN

PHASE 2:
- TRY TO ATTRACT SOME ATTENTION (YOU WILL HIT A JACKPOT IF MAXKEISER RETWEETS YOUR MESSAGE)
- GET YOUR COIN LISTED ON A MAJOR EXCHANGE (YOU WILL GET A LOT HELP ON THIS ONE FROM THE USEFULL IDIOTS )
- WAIT AND IF YOU ARE POOR BUT YOU ARE THINKING BIG, SELL YOUR CAR AND PUMP YOUR COIN . TIP: YOU CAN CLAIM THAT YOUR COIN SHOULD WORTH e.g. AT LEAST 1$ USING SOME PLAIN KINDER-GARDEN LEVEL LOGIC (NOTHING DEEPER THAN THAT OR ELSE YOU COULD ATTRACT SOME UNNECESSARY NEGATIVE ATTENTION FROM PEOPLE TRYING TO CHALLENGE YOUR LOGIC) AND THAT WILL PREVENT A LOT EARLY DUMPS. REDUCED EARLY COIN SUPPLY IS THE FUEL FOR YOUR COIN'S TRIP TO THE MOON (OR YOURS TO SEYCHELES)
- AFTER THE COIN GET'S LISTED, MAKE YOURSELF A DRINK, RELAX AND WAIT TILL THE BUY ORDERS HAVE PILED ENOUGH BTC (ENOUGH = WORTH ENOUGH TO COVER YOUR SPENT TIME, MONEY, A NEW CAR AND TO COVER THAT TRIP TO SEYCHELES). IF THIS TAKES SOME TIME JUST MAKE SURE TO REMEMBER TO POST/TWEET SOME REASSURING CLAIMS.
- DUMP = FILL UP THE SELL BOX AND PRESS THAT MAGIC SELL BUTTON. THIS STAGE COME WITH SATISFACTION GUARANTEE ! TIP: YOU WILL PROBABLY NEED ONLY A VERY SMALL % OF THE PREMINED COINS, SO DONT WORRY OF GETTING ACCUSED FOR SCAM, YOU CAN STILL FILL UP ANY AIDROP DEMAND
- ENJOY THE VIEW OF THE LATE JOINING USEFULL IDIOTS SELLING IN PANIC (I SUGGEST POPCORN AND SOME POPULAR TROLL BOX)
- SEE YOUR WALLET FILLED (THE AMOUNT DEPENDS ON MANY IMPORTANT FACTORS E.G HOW CONVINCING THE USEFUL IDIOTS ARE OR WHAT FONT SIZE THEY USE, AND ETC)
- CASH OUT (IF DONE USING AT LEAST HALF OF YOUR BRAIN, 6 DIGIT SUM OF USD IS GUARANTIED OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE LIMITED AT 5 DIGITS)

RINSE AND REPEAT AND DONT BE SURPRISED IF YOU SEE THE SAME FOOLS PROMOTING YOUR NEW COIN (INCLUDING FOOLS LIKE ME TRYING TO PREVENT A LONG TERM REPUTATION DAMAGE TO THE CRYPTOS)

WHEN THE TIME COMES, "AIRDROP" (FANCY NAME) THE WORTHLESS SHITCOINS TO ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED, AFTER ALL IF BY SOME MIRACLE YOU ONE OF YOUR SCAMCOINS YOU CAN DUMP ONCE MORE (AND PROVE TO ALL THE HATERS THAT THE IDEA WORKED)!

END RESULTS:

FOR THE SCAMMER:

COUPLE OF HOURS OF WORK + A FEW DAYS OF SOME PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES = A SHITLOAD OF MONEY

FOR THE EARLY USEFULL IDIOTS:
A FEW DAYS OF SOME PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES + SOME MINING = A NICE PROFIT

FOR THE LATE USEFULL IDIOTS:
WELL, LETS JUST SAY A FEELING OF BEING VIOLATED RECENTLY

AND THE MOST IMPORTANT:
FOR THE CRYPTOS:

THE CRYPTOCOMMUNITY GETS MORE ATTENTION AND SHOWS TO THE WORLD THAT WE ARE CAPABLE OF MORE THAN SENDING A JAMAICAN SLEDGE TEAM TO THE OLYMPICS.

I CAN ONLY  SEE  A WIN WIN SITUATION HERE BUT THEN AGAIN I COULD BE BLIND.

/sarcasm off

Takeaway message:
Even if you look at the whole idea of cryptos just from the financial perspective, please consider the following angle: You can make much more money if this idea gets introduced to masses gracefully and not as major platform for scams.

P.S. Apologies to all the readers for the fonts and the caps! The post was written earlier as reply to guy using his text style.

From another thread, but eerily accurate for this one:

Extremely accurate. Also accurate for Greececoin, MapleCoin, Mandarin Coin... all cookie cutter coins. And probably from the same devs.

Look at the ann for GreeceCoin and AustraliaCoin ... same font, country name highlighted in the same exact way.

And if Mandarin Coin isn't an April Fool's joke, look at its ann text -- 1st paragraph, then compare to ann for GreeceCoin. Same exact text, just the country name has been changed.

Stage one - multibillion "doge-like" coins. Fail. Stage two - country coins like aurora/maza. They'll fail too. What next? Any ideas?
So...

FUCK OFF WITH YOUR BULLSHIT COIN CUNT!!

You're not even Aussie dickhead,

In case you didn't know, the idea of these shitty country coins is to distribute them to the citizens of said country.

But you're not even doing that, you're just scamming people with a shitty IPO.

DON'T INVEST IN THIS SCAM PEOPLE, A TRUE AUSSIE WOULD HAVE NEVER USED THOSE COLOURS IN THE LOGO
THIS SCUMBAG IS A FRAUD

Exactly what I was thinking. A true aussie would cal it Aussiecoin not Australiacoin lol. And the logo looks like the american flag or something with all the stars. Not a trace of green and gold lmao.... so dumb.

As an Australian myself... I must say the logo for this coin looks decidedly Un-Australian... I mean, you can tell the creator knows nothing about Australia. At all. Probably has'nt even read the Wikipedia article.

Secondly... Why Australiacoin? There is nothing which makes this coin Australian except the name? No Australians will know anything about this.

Shameless scamcoin... Absolutely shameless...

No shit, seriously they could copy and paste this to USA coin or FRENCH coin with little change.  Notice how the devs and this fly spanner have not answered any of the criticisms or questions, just keep the public circle jerk going by quoting the launch time and logos.  Seriously the 1.whatever BTC people put in the IPO just shows how dumb people can really be. I'd love to see proof any of the supporters of this coin are living in Australia.

This is looking suspect, They have not confirmed or denied the scam accusations, their website is not fully working, missing pages and downloads not working.

Also how come it is not on the Exchange that they say it is? has anyone checked that?

They don't seem active on their tweets, the forums they have either and its being launched in a few hours! one would expect them to be online helping out correct the issues.

And the logo colors have nothing to do with Australia so hows that work?

I shall watch this with interest as I am so over the scammers as its killing crypto currency, don't get me wrong I do hope its real but there is too many questions and obvious mistakes that just should not be!

Everyone knows our colours are Green & Gold....Lame

Yep. Instead they've taken the colors from our flag and assumed they're "the Australian colors"... no Aussie thinks blue, red, white are Australian. It almost looks like a USA coin or something. Even if they did a google search for Aussie colors they would see it's Green and Gold!!

Cry such lies

Me lying, or them? I assume you mean them. I'm just saying it how it is. I dont mine or invest in this coin. I'm commenting here because I'm an Aussie and it feels bad to see our name used like this for something so lame. The creators clearly have NO IDEA about Australia. Spend 5 minutes on Google and you'll see that!

Australian Colors: Green and Gold.

Australiacoin is not going to launch at OBFUSCODE.NET

After reading through the concerns of some users and sharing these we decided to not launch Australiacoin.

It looks too suspicious, maybe some other coin can fill the gap? Wink

OP, what are you thinking? Aussies don't have internet and wouldn't find out about your fake scamcoin.  I'm not one to call coins a scam, but to use the name of something you have no idea about, and then ask for IPO.  well if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, ITS A FUCKING DUCK!

Give us evidence why you should use the the name of our great country for your coin and I happily retract the abovt (although the IPO is still BS regardless) Otherwise change it so not to cause confusion when something legitimate comes along.

Well you knew this had to happen...

Aussie!, Aussie!, Aussie!

Australia is a country, a continent. Who gets to decided to create a coin for Australia? I mean is the developer/copy paster Australian? Did the Australian people get to decide? Did the Australian government get to decide? For all we know the developer could be Puerto Rican. And even if he's an Australian, who the hell is he?

why is the logo non representative of Australia with french flag and colours in the background

how does this help Australian's in particular the indigenous people of Australia

why is this coin different to other coins

why is this coin got a 3% premine when all we hear about premininig is that it is bad

Your asking all the right questions........ So don't expect any response from the developer

To IPO investors, I truly hope you get your coins, but don't expect any future development of this coin and for your investment to grow.  I hope I'm wrong but ive been around long enough to know how these coins turn out. Pump and Dump Dump Dump all the way down.

I'll remain professional and just say that it's just another amateur overseas no name exchange. Well, that wasnt exactly professional. Smiley

You are hardly making Allcrypt look like a professional affair adding obvious pump-n-dump scam coins.

You are hardly making Allcrypt look like a professional affair adding obvious pump-n-dump scam coins.

Right. It's our job and responsibility to interview each dev and determine if a coin is a pump and dump scam or not.

I'm relative sure just about every coin released in the last 6 months has been accused of that.

So yes, we will make that call based off a best guess, and piss off all those who disagree.

Or maybe you can tell me the proven formula you use that's widely accepted by the crypto community?

We are ALLcrypt. We don't discriminate. Like most of the other exchanges. If people use your forums and know its a pump and dump, they will obviously not buy the coin. So us adding it is irrelevant.

AustraliaCoin is live on AllCrypt.com!

Looks like a good site, will check it out in the morning. Another Crypto Rush maybe. I did like that site.

Absolutely nothing like CryptoRush. They lost all their coins, went completely insolvent, hid it, then lied about it, then were going to sell shares in an insolvent site, then when they were busted - they stayed open. And still are.

No, absolutely nothing like CryptoRush.

And to the other posters before this one - yes, we will ruin the exchange by taking coins you personally don't care for. Can I get your email so I can get your professional opinion on a coin before we add it? Being the great predictors of crypto that you are, I need you on my team.

For sure, where do I sign up bro, you are misinterpreting what we are trying to say, for e.g:

1. The colours have nothing to do with Australia, New Zealand has the same colours as us for the flag for crying out loud, Green & Gold is for True Aussies.
2. We wouldn't call it Australia Coin, because as Australians we would of called it the same as we call ourselves "Australian" so Australian Coin.
3. We would distribute it between out fellow Aussies & Never ask for an IPO.
4. Launched at a Completely Un-Australian Time if it's for Australians.
5. We wouldn't even accept this because we are slowly accepting Bitcoin into our Businesses & Services.
6. We wouldn't Pre-mine, cause fair is fair !
7. A Completely Oblivious Exchange disperses "Fake Sh!t" information that has been given from the community & yet still adds it thinking it will bring Proifit from what the Coin "Promises"..... Hilarious Mate

I could go on more, But to Us True Australians this coins means nothing so if anyone is that Gullible enough to think this is their true plan from True Australians & not listen to the Real Ozzies then the Jokes on you, ya Dew.

I think coinano is broken. It's showing an implausible order book (wish it were real), and trade history dating back to before the coin was launched. Smiley I guess they're mixing up data with another coin.

Ha! I knew it was a matter of time before an Aussie crypto was released. But what a shame it has to be a premine IPO shit/scam coin.

There's no way a true blue would release this thieving piece of crap. 40 billion coins? No chance.

Don't waste either your hashes or your bitcoin on it - it won't even survive the litecoin market when it's inevitably downgraded.

Red White & Blue? .... That's as UnAustralian as it gets. Idiots!

Sooooo disappointing.

Red White & Blue? .... That's as UnAustralian as it gets. Idiots!

Technically the Australian flag has those colours... but if you ask someone (oh, say Google Images) what "red white and blue" may mean, there's no sign of the Australian flag. The Sydney Opera House is not the image I'd choose for the coin's website either. I can think of a furry marsupial that would be a lot more recognisable as an Aussie icon. Smiley

Australia Coin owners.

Where are you located in Australia, send me a Pm so we can verify your details and meet in person to confirm who you are.

You owe this to Australians to be upfront and clear who you are and where your located other wise Australia will not support this coin and if its not run by Australians in Australia then its not a Coin that represents Australia just like the logo colours your using.

Its looking more and more like a sham and your not even trying to assure us that its not let alone no one knows who you are or where this coin is being controlled from.

I have offered to personally confirm who you are so its now your choice to stand behind what you are saying or is it as everyone thinks it is and your not even in Australia!

The ball is in your court.

Here is a quote from Australia Coin.

"The aim of Australia Coin is to help make the transaction from traditional payment methods to crypto currencies far easier and supported. This will be a once in a lifetime chance to invest in one of the world's strongest economic coins."

Yet there is no clear transparency as to who they are or if they are actually in Australia, this is looking very Bad!!!!  Australia are we going to support this!  looks like a scam, smells like foreign people are controlling this!  so that would mean its Not Australia COIN at all!  so I ask everyone who reads this to post your views!  why have Australia coin not responded!!

Oh and by the way guys I thought you might want to know this as I posted I would support Australia coin if it was backed and based in Australia, thats in question !!! big question.

Yet this user id flytosky was quick to email me to ask how much I wanted for my $5000 mining rig on www.miningcryptocurrency.com.au !

I had to control my response as you all can see Australia coin has no Value and there is no way I will do business unless it have the backing for me to be able to sell the coins instantly! hence it must have $5000 worth of btc to trade instantly!

Yet flytosky thinks I would do trade!

sorry flytosky but your posting actions on here speak ! I don't even think your in Australia!

As such I am no longer supporting this coin and have withdrawn any support for this coin until they are upfront and honest about who they are and where they are located.

Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh
Still no reply!   yet I have replies from concerned people who have invested in this!
As such I am no longer supporting this coin and have withdrawn any support for this coin until they are upfront and honest about who they are and where they are located.

If you have any details guys post away !   let everyone know what they are really supporting!

How the frack did I not hear about this :/ Sacm Frasm Rasm Double crossin'. Anyhoo. Whats this about a potential scam? I beg any Aussies who are in the way of the knowing to get to the bottom of this. Is this ran by People outside AU? If it is can we please get together and Launch a true Australia Coin? If we can confirm this is genuinely an Australian coin then I am in. I only have an R9 280x but have been contemplating investing in much more hardware. I mean a helluva lot more. I have hesitated a little, but I would invest everything I have (And more by selling a few things) to help mine an Aussie Coin. We should call it Straya Coin. lol Im joking. Or perhaps Southern Cross Coin? Kanga Coin? Koala coin? I will even buy some Australian Crypto if it can be verified to be genuinely Australian, as I am right into trading anyway.

A Genuinely Australian coin is & has been a great idea. Almost everything we get involved (as Australians) we do well, and commit deeply, especially when it is for Australians.WE only have a tad over 25 mill people, but we somehow make a big representation on the world scene when compared by per capita percentages. Take online Gaming for Examples. For me its motor Racing Games and simulators. Many Gaming company's include Australian Cars and Tracks because even though Australia only has a small population, we have a massive presence (for our size) in these community's and there are countless examples out side of Gaming. Whats my point? I hear you asking. Well Because of our presence and because we are largely "liked" online by much of the international community (of course there are exceptions) (and im sure ill get a nice Troll Response for that) I have no doubt we will get a lot of help from international exchanges and perhaps even pools like IPOminer.com or cryptsy for e.g.

The thing is we need to know who & what we are backing. I dont have enough knowledge to verify the Integrity of this coin, I also dont have the knowledge to Launch a True Australian coin (should it turn out this coin is a fake/scam) but I have Enthusiasm for anything that I am involved in, in my life and add another % more enthusiasm when it has something to do with the Country I love and call home.

If there is anything I can do to to help a True Australian coin, then count me in. I have many talents and skills & I would love to be involved. I would commit unlimited time into this, if I can just verify the interity of the coin.

One other strange thing is that Aussies Seldom use Red, White & Blue to represent Australia in color. I find it hard to believe an Aussie would design an Australian coin that used REd, White & Blue (of course I may be wrong) I would have though we would have gone with Green & Gold or perhaps even Black, Red & Yellow. Aussies will know why. Anyhow, I may be wrong & if I am then I am deeply sorry for criticizing that choice. In the end if Australia coin is genuinely Australian, then I really dont care what color it isz, Im just adding this post to the argument of weather or not Australia coin is an Honest Australian Product or an international Scam.

The dev's have blatantly ignored all questions about the coin, including where they are based themselves or the unusual colour (yeah, colour not color! Smiley ) and the only supporters seem to speak English at a level I would expect of a seven year old French child.

Real Australia coin would be interesting, but since our economy isn't going down the shitter it would be a hard sell for people to take up I guess.

And thats a typical scammer response, instead of answering the questions that everyone is entitled to know you make accusations and attack, yet its you who have failed to let everyone know clear transparency of who is behind this coin as its a totally un Australia approach and the same with your pure aggressive attack, who is going to support this then when all your doing if avoiding telling the truth and attacking anyone who questions the facts!

It says a lot about who you are and what your intentions are, you will see I have been asking this information since the Launch! others have made comments as well and yet there you are not replying at all to anyone to clear the air, yet your quick with the abuse!

Totally unprofessional

Very Australian!!  NOT

All we are getting so far for keep asking the questions that we are entitled to know but getting ABUSE instead.

Check the forum, another Aussie has been bagged as he announced he contacted the IPO's for their thoughts and any information!

I don't know about you guys but in the past when ever I lock onto a scammer there responses are to Attack and try to put you down! they try to sow the seed of doubt!

Don't get me wrong I wanted to support this coin and was even the first store to accept it!!  but they would not answer the Questions we are entitled to know!

I cannot support this coin as They are coming across as if its backed by Australia and its Australia's coin!   therefore If I promote it as that I could be considered Fraudulent and deceptive to my customers if we find out it has nothing to do with Australia ( like the colours, like their behaviour).

My advice is to suspend all mining and trading until they prove who they are and who's involved, prove where they are located !

All thats happening right now is they are buying time! and there is no reason to not be UPFRONT and HONEST!   as thats the Australian way!

Balls in your court now.

Why don't you list the names and locations of the members who's behind this coin and their relationship, where is the registered business name and trading name?

The ATO is seeking out anyone who is dealing in the crypto world so don't claim its not a business, or if you are going to claim its not a business then you will have no issues in declaring all the people involved and where the costs are and where the money is going!  where did all the IPO money go?

Just because One person is acting on the whole team we still have no idea who you are and what is your relationship to this coin, anyone can claim they are a DEV, and Mark is in WA so I am sure he will be checking you out if you are to follow through.

Like I keep saying we want to support this but your actions leave us no choice as your biting the hands that feed you!

lol investors in this are fucked, No way will they see a return on their BTC. There was never going to be enough buy support. Frankly it doesn't matter if the dev is Australian or not, this coin was fucked from the get go. Doesn't offer anything, No way to attract miners, No airdrop, No way to attract merchants, terrible logo and now a bad reputation.

I could knock out a better coin in 48 hours and start an airdrop next week using AEC (Australian Electoral Commission).

Yes we could have used the aec but Australia is a wealthy country, we are not poor. We have the investors an opportunity to invest in the coin, not give the coin out to people who are rich.

According to Australian law we are not backed by gold or fiat so laws of public ipo do not apply. But I guess you looked that up already.

And yes I have pmd mark and will be calling him soon.

Yes and I am sure you know the laws about misleading and deceitful conduct, your asking people to support something that it appears to be not what you claim nor will you clarify!i you want us to invest our money and our Reputation into what you claim is Australia's coin yet you guys or guy as we have no idea who or how many are behind this or their motives will not identify yourselves!   thats all we are asking no more or no less.

Your operating a money exchange, or selling a product to investors depending on how you decide to look at it!   so where is the ABN? who are the directors?  what are you really doing and who are you really!

Talk is cheap and you still keep refusing to identify yourselves but quick to shoot anyone down to avoid the answers

So stop making it worse and answer the straight forward questions that investors are entitled to know!

Why are you guys so scared to identify who you are? these are all actions of someone who is hiding something.

Come clean so we can support it as the longer you go the less chance this coin has of success!

It also appears you are the only one behind this coin! your answering the questions in the austcoin forum under auscoin??

And its clear you do not know about our laws of deceptive and misleading conduct!

Yeah close this and open another one where you can delete any comments you don't like!

If you want to stop repeating yourself then answer the questions we keep asking its that simple!

I have about half my BTC back...and I haven't really tried or put any pressure on the price. I've barely been on the excahnge

No one knows the future, and no one knew what would happen in advance. It was a small investment, and ona risk reward basis worth a go. I'd do the same again, no problems. The thing with alt coins is that when coins get criticsied it often presents great opportunity. I've done very well buying coins that others "bagged".

It's early days , and we don't know the future.
All crypto coins are an experiment, and this is another one. the amount raised in the IPO is very small (or it was when I last looked and I may have missed the final numbers).

Why not knock one out if you have a good idea? That's part of the beauty of crypto coins. Anyone can get involved. Many people can experiment and try their ideas out. Small people are experimenting and probably some of the ideas that come out will last and be beneficial for many.

I've been happy enough. I haven't seen you do anything wrong. I put some BTC into the IPO, knowing full well that it was a risk to do so. If I was really worried about losing a small amount of BTC I would not have done it.

But  I have no problem with anything you've done. My BTC was escrowed until I received the AUS.
You could be a scammer for all I know. I don't think you are but if you are then I'm not that worried. I made the choice, no one twisted my arm.

Fair call.

All we are trying to do is understand who is really behind this is they are going to great lengths not to being known! My view is this whole thing is totally un australian.

On their web page they state you can get a piece of Australian crypto!  yet we can even establish if this coin is really Australian and thats a big problem  as you can see the people are not going to support something that is pretending to be something that its not!

I have also noticed there is only one person acting on the behalf of Auscoin or is it really only one person who is behind this!

Look at their webpage they also claim its Australian DEV's so how many, who are they, etc etc.

The only one person who is doing a bad job of defending it keeps saying he will contact people etc but he's too busy yet he comes on here and bags us for asking straight forward questions and the time he has wasted but he's too busy to call a local guy in WA………. all I keep seeing is excuses and buying time.

If I am also correct they handed out 1200,000,000mill Aust coins in the IPO and only took in 2.8btc!

Thats a lot of Aust coins and there is no market now let alone when they get dumped, I am a miner/trader and the data says not to bother mining it let alone how its been handled.

As I keep saying I was going to support this until I seen how its been handled and as such I will have nothing to do with this as its Totally Un Australian in my opinion.

If they keep going the way they are I will have the government step in as you can't exchange money or call for investors without having a ABN and clear transparency about who they are, they seem to think Australian laws don't apply, let alone they paid money to hide who owns the website!

My gut feel is its the one person only at this stage as I have not seen anyone else on here commenting from them.

Lets look.

The Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act requires digital currencies to be backed directly or indirectly by precious metal or bullion. AUSTRAC, the organisation that administers the AML/CTF Act, has said that “Bitcoin is not backed directly or indirectly by precious metal or bullion and therefore such digital currency is not currently covered by the AML/CTF Act.

Since digital currency are not covered by the AML/CTF act these "laws" you are referring to exist only in your head. Since we dont come under the AML/CTF laws, we do not need to reveal anything.

It like trying to apply criminal law to traffic law, you off the mark and in the wrong ballpark.

I am sure you are aware that online threats are an illegal matter in OZ though.

I will also refer to the Australian law on cyber bullying since you are acting in a threatening manner.

Cyber bullying can be a crime under either South Australian or national law when it involves:

Using the internet or a phone in a threatening, harassing or offensive way
Threats
Stalking (including messaging someone to harm or scare them)
Accessing internet accounts without permission
Defamation (spreading lies to intentionally hurt someone’s reputation)
 Encouraging suicide

So your threatening and bullying behavior is exactly what this law is about.

Reported to the ATO, the user/dev of this coin including the ip address used to post here on the forums will be under investigation soon, if they/he really has an ABN number and SEC registration to lawfully offer IPO to investors.

If I'm not mistaken this is another copy and paste/ coingen alt coin and will be used to scam people. dev will probably dump his premined coins once an exchange gets volume for this alt coin. i sure hope no one is too naive to buy into this con.

gee I thought your too busy to call mark !!! tic toc   more wasted time and more crap its so simple what you have to do and I say YOU as there is NO one else!

Whats "The Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act requires digital currencies to be backed directly or indirectly by precious metal or bullion. AUSTRAC, the organisation that administers the AML/CTF Act, has said that “Bitcoin is not backed directly or indirectly by precious metal or bullion and therefore such digital currency is not currently covered by the AML/CTF Act."

Got to do with anything!

Don't worry it will be all exposed soon, the more your evasive the more damage your doing to yourself thats the hilarious part about this whole thing, you can't see its you who is causing the damage but your striking out at anyone who asks to know who is behind it!

Why would we invest our time and money to mine and support this if you can't be honest!

The solution is so simple yet your still playing evasive games you are your own undoing!
