If Ecuador can defeat Qatar this easy then I can't even imagine what Netherlands can do to them. But it is totally normal because I don't see even a single player among Qatar players who is well-known and playing for a decent team. Qatar supporters should just enjoy the World Cup atmosphere in their own country.

Tomorrow, my favourite team England are going to play against Iran. I think this is a nice opportunity for them to put on a good show and make a solid start. I just hope to see Southgate using the squad as effective as possible starting with this match. Normally England shouldn't have any problem on defeating all of the teams in their group.

Beer would never be allowed in Muslim-majority countries, which is why Qatar has banned beer inside stadiums. Qatar has organized the World Cup strictly according to Islamic rules and will start according to those rules. Of course these rules are accepted by all and various people come and visit here.

I respect that, the committee has the power to apply that rule. Although I am sure that there are many parties who feel aggrieved. But it certainly doesn't matter, I don't think it's a major need in a world cup. Of course, consumers can still hold back a few days not to drink it. Besides of course in sports alcohol is also not good so I think it doesn't need to be a big problem.

Yes an easy win for Ecuador, although Qatar is a home team but it does not have any impact on Ecuador players they play with confidence
Here we can see the two countries at a different level Ecuador has threatened since the first minute with a goal unfortunately the goal was canceled

Qatar could have done a lot to win this fixtures, looking at the teams that are in there group, this was there best chance in winning a game as, Netherland and Senegal are a no match for them.

If the match is played until the morning, this Qatar would not be able to score. It is clear that they are not a team of this level, except for their left-backs and goalkeepers. It is a great success that a country that is very small and does not have a sports tradition can come here by hosting the organization, which is a great success. Ecuador is not a bad team at all and I think the probability of advancing from this group is quite high. Ecuador was beyond my expectations. Before the match started, my second place candidate in the group was Senegal. If Enner Valencia's injury is not serious, I think Ecuador can now come out of the group as 2nd behind the Netherlands. Especially without mane, the match between senegal and ecuador is very difficult. Winner will probably be 2nd. But my guess is Ecuador is one step ahead if Valencia plays.

It was a nice opening game in the World Cup. Ecuador were highly favoured for the win. They kept the game under control most of the time and got a deserved 2-0 win at the end. E. Valencia was really impressive by scoring two goals. He had a goal disallowed by VAR due to offside as well. Maybe he could have even made a hat-trick if he wasn't replaced by another player in the 77th minute.

Senegal - Netherlands could be an interesting game tomorrow. Netherlands are very highly favoured maybe but who knows maybe Senegal might show a decent performance anyway.

it was a nice celebration and opening game. I was expecting Qatar to win the match, but it became opposite of what I predicted. I am wondering if Qatar can even go for a long way in this tournament. You cannot say Ecuador was favoured, though to some extent but Ecuador players were far better than Qatar players. If not the VAR, Ecuador would have won them 0-3. Ecuador deserved the goals because they played well. Though luck is part of football but there are some games you watch that the team really deserve to win and not luck. So Ecuador was not luck to win the match but they deserved it.

I think England will do the same thing as today's match win easily and take a safe point for a more important match at least in their 3 matches in Group B
Qatar and Iran are not much different the two countries are at the same level while England is one of the champion candidates I will bet for England on First Half.

It’s rarely a great game to get the ball rolling, and neither today will be, the real games will start tomorrow. Some of the games look to be amazing ones, of course it’s a shame that so many will be all together, will not be able to watch them all, I have to work or even for some of them sleep, but at the end of the day I would be able to watch the highlights of it, so it’s not really that big of a deal.

Yes, Qatar (host team) had some opportunities to score but ended up failing to score, but it was still an interesting game to watch.

I think it's safe to say that Qatar will be the outsider in this World Cup. I will be really surprised if they manage to secure even one point in the next two matches. If they score a goal, that will be their biggest achievement.

I was wrong throughout and I'm glad that the cool AC that Qatar players have been enjoying influenced their game today, they made it too easy for Ecuador with a disappointing zero shot on target, I don't know what I was thinking, I shouldn't have made my predictions based on their previous friendly match now I got caught for over depending on a host community that was hardly organized on the field, they just demonstrate their incompetence and I am very convinced that they are the first to leave group A stage. Though Qatar and Ecuador are the weakest teams I have seen in group A, looking forward to seeing what Senegal, Netherlands and England would play next, it will be a very tough and interesting one.

Yes. England has a great chance to win tomorrow's game. Considering that the English team has many star players, such as Harry Kane, Bukayo Saka who is currently also active at the Arsenal club. However, I am worried about England defender Harry Maguire, who often makes mistakes at the back. If the Iranian players continue to apply pressure through Maguire's path, of course they will get chances to score. At least create pressure so that Maguire commits a foul in the penalty circle.
