Southgate read the game just right. Even his substitutes had major impacts in the game. Imagine Marcus Rashford coming on and scoring in seconds. Even attempts a second goal but that was repelled at the defence.
I almost felt he wasn't going to play Wilson after seeing him warm up, stood with M. Rashford and Foden on the touchline and shortly after was seating on the bench to give way for J. Hello guys, I want to know your predictions concerning Senegal and Netherlands, the match is starting in about 30 minutes from now, Senegal currently has an odd of 6.0 while Netherlands have odds of 1.69, I am seriously confused as to which team to place my bet on, senegal is a great team, this is not to undermine the power Netherlands has, but then, what are you predictions guys?

I personally don't believe Senegal will win this match, because even though Senegal has good players in their squad. But in history they are not very easy to win even when Senegal plays against a not so strong national team.
But for the Netherlands, even though they don't always win against other European teams, they are used to playing under pressure and demands. So at least it has shaped their characteristics for the better, even though it still won't be easy to win but in the end I'm still sure Netherlands will win even if only by a narrow score.

Almost all of players who scored goals for england were playing at the top clubs in EPL. Rashford, Sterling, Judge bellingham (dortmund) and many more. Im not even feeling doubt if england can destroy iran easily without any doubt. I have been winning caused by picking england. This match was too easy to predict but the match between senegal against netherland is a bit difficult to predict as i will not even put senegal as underrated team at this moment.

I confess that I would never imagine that England would be able to score 6 goals against Iran, and the team was totally defensive, playing with 5 players in defensively.

With this victory, England they managed to prove that they are a strong and extremely competitive team.

England team have series of young players that are very good and have experience in the top leagues in Europe and they showed up their talent against Iran today, as we can see Bukayo Saka score a brace, while Grealish, Rashford, Sterling and Bellingham score one goal each to see England through a successive three points in the opening match. Iran will surly go back home after group stage because I don't think they can win any match in their group.

Senegal are playing much better football than I expected. Especially, İsmaila Sarr plays a very effective football. Before the match, I predicted that the Netherlands would dominate the match, but I was wrong. Senegal definitely played better football in the first half. Also, the cooperation in the Senegal national team was at a very high level. I have never seen a player acting selfishly in positions around the penalty area. Everyone was trying to give the ball to the most available player. It was like a sign that they were working hard to play collective football.
