A good statement from the the title defenders. They generally showed composure even after Australia had that opportunity to be in front. What a shock today at the world cup,who would have thought that Saudia Arabia will win south America champions in a world cup game,  I must congrats them for winning Argentina that has Lionel Messi in it, their whole country will be proud,they are already heroes already in their first game, I think Argentina were missing geovanni Lo Celso in the middle, the Tottenham Hotspur player brings another energy from midfield he reduced the work load for Lionel Messi. I think they can still qualify in the group.

I didn't like Poland's performance even a bit. They were the underdog according to bookmakers maybe but I was still expecting a decent effort by them. There was just only one shot on target by Poland. Lewandowski missed a penalty and maybe they missed a big chance to get a win against Mexico. Argentina is in big trouble, it is clear from the first match loss at the start of their World Cup mission. Argentina suffered the most from the offside trap and the result of the match showed just how bad it could have been. With the way Mexico and Poland played the match and drew the match, Argentina's worries about advancing to the next round have increased as the road looks tougher now. Argentina's defeat was inseparable from the precise strategy carried out by Saudi Arabia, and they did it very consistently. based on these results, I believe Argentina will come up with more strategies and variations of attacks to overcome the offside trap. this was something unexpected for Argentina which is used to playing fast from their wings.

Argentina was making some blunders at the second half. That has been used by saudi arabia to lead the match by scoring two goals in a row. Argentina can't even make match become draw. it seems like that the attackers of argentina was not even so strong even with messi at the front line of argentina. Argentina must try to accept if saudi arabia was even stronger compared with it. This is a unexpected result from argentina to play such bad game play against saudi arabia. I guess so many people were taking argentina as their main bet. There are so many matches remaining and argentina is still having a chance as long as it can win rest of matches on its group. Regardless of how most people think that Saudi Arabia is playing quite boring, I feel that it is indeed difficult for them to play openly against a team of Argentina's caliber which is very much the favorite, so carrying out a defensive scheme like this is definitely something that is really good to do.
On the other hand, for the world cup this time, there have been 2 surprises, indeed what happened after England played with the highest score. of course this will be a little difficult for their competition in reaching the next round.

I saw a part of that game and I saw a Mexican dominance while Poland was playing defence too much. Lewandowski missed a penalty and wasn't able to score a single goal for Poland for many games which draws many criticism but that doesn't mean that his days are over imo.
For Australia now, after a good start, they were crashed badly by France by 4 goals. Australia chances to stay became very low tho.

They were underrated in the game and no one expected a win from them. Saudi Arabia have one of their biggest win in their first game in the world cup against Argentina. It's really frustrating to see the big country lose to Saudi Arabia, who thought Saudi who be victorious in the game, definitely nobody. Leo Messi will be very dissapointing to watch his side lose the game with narrow escape score of 2-1. Argentina shocking lost to Saudi Arabia 2-1 in their first game in the world cup. Argentina had three additional goals in the first half but all we're disallowed due to an offside position. The Saudis had a good skill level, both goals show that, but most importantly I would say that the Saudi coach won the match. The defense offside trap was just brutal against Argentina. It could have easily ended 4 - 0 for Argentina if the Saudi coach was playing in a more standard way.
