Kylian Mbappe came in and leveled the game.  Mbappe showed the world what’s he got, even though Argentina won the game, Mbappe’s performance cannot be overshadowed. He’s the future of this sport. As for the Messi vs Ronaldo argument, I'm happy that I will be able to tell my kids I watched the two best players ever! I grew up watching them and saw their careers come to an end.

It was a great final indeed and I think one of the toughest world cup finals in recent years. Argentina and France almost have same kind of strength in that game, having both teams played draws in both at the end of the 90 mins and the extra time too was something I found very interesting. Nice having seen Argentina come out victoriously at last, it was a deserve victory.

Probably one of the best finals of all times. Mbappe gets 3 but its not enough. How many times have France squandered on pens? I think its been a few times already. Argentina weren't the favs but they were very disciplined and played like champions. Had to composure to pull through. What a great way to end the World Cup campaign.

My conclusion is that France has a great team but the zeal/seriousness was not there initially. It was the greatest final ever we watched in world cup history , so much tension ... so much unexpected events in a very short time , i was betting on france to catch argentina when they down 2-0 and get a great odds ... turned my $10 into $80 quickly in just a couple minutes and then cash them out.

It's a great final match we got to enjoy. The players of both the teams played brilliantly. In the first half, we saw only Argentina's dominance. But France attacked a lot in the second half and Mbappe equalized with two goals. In extra time both teams attacked and tried to score. I would say Argentina was a bit lucky. Great to see Messi blowing up like this I myself won a pretty penny from the France vs Argentina match but those last minutes did make me a bit nervous. Mbappe was the key to France's success so they could equalize even though they lost in the end. In one game Mbappe took 3 penalty kicks and all worked which is quite extraordinary because many players say that penalty kicks are sometimes more difficult than making ordinary goals and also one goal from Mbappe is very beautiful, he is a star and if he is consistent he is very likely to be the next legends.

To be fair I have to give France manager the credit he is due. At 40th minute when he made the changes I really got confused, and I assumed it was a horrible mistake. Giroud was mad as expected and Dembele did a mistake with that penalty for the first goal, but he could have worked harder to make up for that mistake, and he took them out. Not even during half time or anything, he took them out on 40th minute, and then some more later on on second half.

I have to say I didn't expected that to change the game but eventually it really did, it really changed a lot and while I found it wrong, dude really made some amazing changes to give France some more pressure and attacking chances.

The tactical change by Deschamp made an instant impact on the match, Giroud was only good in aerial balls unfortunately no ball crossing was coming out by the wingers especially Dembele who after committing the infringement that lead to the first penalty against his team, consequently became a shadow of former self and completely loss confidence in the match, however when Coman and Camavinga came on, the match changed thus allowing France to launch a massive attacks, infact Coman won the ball from Messi which culminated to one of the goals scored by France, unfortunately lost the match via penalty shootout luckily was won by Argentina who equally deserve to win the match.
