Mbappe was the key to France's success so they could equalize even though they lost in the end. In one game Mbappe took 3 penalty kicks and all worked which is quite extraordinary because many players say that penalty kicks are sometimes more difficult than making ordinary goals and also one goal from Mbappe is very beautiful, he is a star and if he is consistent he is very likely to be the next legends.

France were totally played out of the game in the first 45mins. The Argentines gave them no room to play at all and dominated the game in the first half until the changes were made that saw Giroud and Dembele subbed, then France began to strive gradually. I loved how the french team reacted after the first goal and got the second to secure the game and take the game to the extra time.

First half was belongs to Argentina that they were dominate the match even i remember at that time France has zero shot on goals and i was thinking this could be easy match for Argentina because even Mbappe didn't touch the balls so often but everything was change in the second half that after France replace Giroud and Dembele i think France performance is quite better and the result is they can equalized the score and indeed this is one of the best final match on world cup but unfortunately France players has failed to do penalty taker and maybe during this tournament France always be ended the match on normal time so they weren't ready to take penalty shot out

Hahah I watched ceremony after match ended. Argentinian goalkeeper made some weird pose that looked terrible in my opinion. So childish. But it was funny.
By the way his save at last second of match was very important. I realized he is very good goalkeeper tho. I think he has extraordinary, flamboyant moves which makes him sort of special. Two goals in two minutes was the shocker honestly, the second goal got me shouting and screaming like a bvtch LOL.... If Oliver Giroud was in that second half of the game, one of those crosses would have been converted. Nothing to be sad about, first half was just too easy for Argentina but thing's turned around. But then, hard way is always the best way.

One thing that I highlighted in last night's final, I don't understand why Scaloni pulled D Maria in the 64th minute of the second half. since D Maria was pulled out, Argentina's attacks have relaxed automatically. that way, France could play more freely and arrange attack after attack, until they were finally able to equalize at 2-2. if, Scaloni doesn't relax his attack and doesn't pull D Maria. I am sure, the course of the game will still be controlled by Argentina until the long whistle sounded at the end of the second half.

But winning basically, this final match should be more exciting. a very tense match, until the penalty shoot-out drama. congrats to Argentina and Messi, they deserve it.

there were some discrepancies when Di Maria was left. but it's not bad for Argentina either. they could play a bit more toward the middle. by keeping the French midfield looking more aggressive.

Yes, that's right, a lot of people said it would be a tough World Cup for Argentina when they lost to Saudi Arabia in their first match. But Argentina was able to bounce back in the next 2 matches and made it to the last 16, until they finally became finalists along with France. They qualified themselves as champions after being able to win 2-0 and 3-2 over France, although in the end they had to claim the championship on penalties.

For any coach to win, draw or lose in any game determines the kind of players he fixture and the changes he made in the match. Only a wrong fixture or changes can make a coach lose the match he has already won. That was exactly what happened in the match between France and Argentina

How can the Argentina coach pull out D. Maria in 64mins, was he thinking that Argentina has won the finals already? That was the worst change he made. The formation of France's players changed the moment D. Maria was removed and the fixture of new players in the match by France coach is what leads to the 2-2 draw.

Yes, indeed, the game of the French national team in the first half was something that was painful to watch and they really gathered only towards the end of the second half, but they needed to create and implement scoring chances in overtime, instead, for example, I saw a game at the beginning of extra time resembling the first half, alas.

The tactical change by Deschamp made an instant impact on the match, Giroud was only good in aerial balls unfortunately no ball crossing was coming out by the wingers especially Dembele who after committing the infringement that lead to the first penalty against his team, consequently became a shadow of former self and completely loss confidence in the match, however when Coman and Camavinga came on, the match changed thus allowing France to launch a massive attacks, infact Coman won the ball from Messi which culminated to one of the goals scored by France, unfortunately lost the match via penalty shootout luckily was won by Argentina who equally deserve to win the match.

I have to say that for the first 80 minutes France played really badly. Argentina dominated really hard in the first 30 minutes of the game as France was almost capable of attacking as Olivier Giroud and Ousmane Dembélé were not playing that well.

When the coach brought in Thuram and another guy, they started attacking a bit more, and finally, when the coach brought in Kingsley Coman and Eduardo Camavinga in the second half the French squad was brought back to life and then the game became more competitive. But overall I have to say the two best players from the French side were Killian Mbappe and Upamecano.

After a long wait Messi was finally able to bring home the world cup to Argentina. Achievements that Ronaldo cannot match are possible. Because this year's Ronaldo is probably his last world cup.  Quite an entertaining match, I think it will end sooner when Argentina win 2-0. But France turned out to be able to pull off a surprise and take the game all the way to Penalties.
