IMHO, the new administration will not let the online cockfighting to re-operate because the reason why it was banned is it affects the morality of the general public as citizens can play online cockfighting with ease and anywhere to the extent that their lives were affected one way or another, most of the people who use the online sabong platform don't have the discipline or lack the discipline that a good gambler must have.

Hmm to deep to make out some economic discussions since everything would really be vary on certain conditions if ever certain country does really need more tax then they wont really be removing this stuff

Where is that information coming from? Just because the stocks have dropped when Marcos was announce as the winner doesn't mean investor are not confident on his administration. The Philippines has a lot of resources, we can find a way to generate revenue from taxes, so let's just calm down, if they choose to bring back the online sabong, then good, but if the reason is that it destroys the life of the poor, then better keep the ban forever.

It is still early to have an assumption.  There is always this possibility for the online cockfight to resume but it is too early to assume that the incoming administration will implement that.  Maybe instead of  allowing the online cockfight, they will  do an intense campaign against it.

TBH, I just don't know why they allowed it in our country. Tax? Revenue? You can get that in other ways but the morale and the effects of it to the people especially for those who lose all already are irreversible.

Thats true. Many families got wrecked due to their addiction. I remember recently the case of a family wherein the mother sold her baby only 9 months old to pay her debts due to online cockfighting. Having self-awareness about the dangers of gambling is very necessary because it can prevent us from continuously playing gambling and can give us an understanding to always stay away from gambling. But unfortunately, after people feel the fun of playing gambling, they forget about it so they continue to gamble and don't try to prevent it.
