Please read the following carefully:

The fees will be higher this time than with exo_coin because the bitcoin price has fallen dramatically since I originally set those prices. I hope you will understand. The fee will be 0.02BTC or 0.9% which ever is greater.

Additionally YOU MUST BE IN PERSONAL POSSESSION OF AT LEAST ONE OF THE PRIVATE KEYS THAT YOU SEND FROM I will require digital signatures to release any funds or make any changes to the status of your order. Don't worry, its not as complicated as it sounds and I will be here for anyone who needs help to walk them through every step. You don't even need to know how digital signatures work yet, I can help you with that when the time comes, for now though just make sure that you send from a software client located on your machine or if you prefer e-wallet than use blockchain.info DO NOT SEND DIRECTLY TO ME FROM AN EXCHANGE

Ok so if you have read everything carefully and agree to these terms feel free to send to this address when ever you are ready.

Thank you for clarifying

Honest question:

The mining period is very aggressive.  Won't that concentrate most of the coins into the hands of a small number of miners?  What's the rationale for that?

Well the initial hashrate will be very high, a large percentage of the coins will be distributed to a large amount of miners. It's important to get in prior to PoS.

I'm not so sure that's a good thing for the future of the coin.  Maybe someone who knows more about this subject could enlighten us.

Is the 50 billion EDG a hard cap, meaning there will be no new coins after four years?

It's important not to delude ourselves. EDG will be a great short and long term return and help build up cryptos but it likely won't be a "bitcoin 2" or a popular alternative in 4 years.

So where do you see Edgecoin in a year or two?  A top-10 cryptocurrency based on the sharp wallet design and integrated features?  Any specific plans to grow the community?

It's a 60/40 split, it says so quite largely at the top of the OP post.

Anyway, maybe this is better.

I think that amount is crazy high, but hey Exocoin has done well with it.

If it's what the people want I'll give it to them Smiley

I believe we'll be a very established cryptocurrency with a variety of ways to make and spend money.

That is way too much. There already is distrust in most IPO coins as scams make people change their minds. We have to prove those people wrong. The % right now is good

i highly recommend just doing a multiplier. round 1 = input * 1.6. round 2 = input * 1.4. I say that because of the complications witnessed in exo coin.

It's a lot more competitive as is, but sure I'll consider it.

i see your point, but i can NOT agree, round one investors took huge risk. At beginning time Edge only accept direct invest, and with 90% of chance to be a scam.   we trust Din and his project, this doesn't mean anything to you?

and there is never an IPO should decrease investors' interest. the only acceptable way is to increase the interest like PTS increase from 10% to 50%.

Also, if we increase the percentage of IPO, we should keep first round/second round =6/4 .  you can't decrease investor's interest, that's the bottom line.

To change the percentage of first round/second round is not acceptable, because it change the basic rule of this game.
and the ratio of first IPO/second IPO was very very important  for us bearing the risk and  made our decision to investment in stage 1. you can't betray your initial supporters.  that's my point.

What about the escrow investors?  That list has not been updated.  All who invested in stage 1 want to know where they stand right now.

I can't agree with you.   the rule is confirmed.  you should not change frequently.
You know This is a project,  not a joke.

It is 50Bil in total,   4.5 Bil for stage 1,  3.0 Bil for stage 2.
I don't want anyone change it.   thanks

I strongly disagree.    Sad

Edit:  ...assuming Stage 1 BTC <= Stage 2 BTC  Stage 2 >= 18.65 BTC of course...
I strongly disagree. its a deal,we cant change it

I'd leave the IPO rules as-is.  15% is a good amount.

Regarding the logo - why not offer a bounty from the IPO funds for whoever can create the best logo?  Something like .25 btc for the designer would help get the community involved, and the bounty promotes good will between everyone involved.

we could double or triple total percentage of IPO, but the rate of first/second IPO should be stable.
