Of course he can be but his age is too much for the Turkish league.I can't think that a 37 year old player can get much time in the Turkish league because the Turkish league is a very tough league and if he gets injured he has a chance to stay away from the pitch for 2-3 months.Other leagues don't have a tough game but not in the Turkish league.I know that he played for Inter and Manchester City in his time but I think his age is a bit too much for the league.Still, he might have the potential to play for 1 year.If a contract is made according to him, this seems to be no problem for the team and the fans.
Ryan Kent is coming to Fenerbahce so while they lost one striker and their manager, they gained a winger that is insanely fast, that dude is known for being able to run as fast as anyone you have seen and do that for 90 minutes, there is a reason why his nickname was "the secretariat" when he was younger (this was in 2019 if I remember correctly) so it is a good start.

If they get Dzeko that would mean they would have a proper striker, sure he is old but that would help them for at least one season and then they can look further next season, it is important to at least cover this year first. Those two alone are enough with a good manager, they could keep rest of the same team from current season and just add in Kent and Dzeko and a manager and do it all again.

As of yesterday, the departures have started in Fenerbahce. We have seen the news of the departure of both the team's technical director Jorge Jesus and the team's top scorer Enner Valencia. Thus, Fenerbahce needs to sign both a technical director and a top scorer.Let's not forget that before the departure of these two names, the club announced the transfer of Ryan Kent. Now, if I am not mistaken, the transfer of Edin Dzeko is on the agenda. But I am in favor of the transfer of a younger player.37-year-old Dzeko will not be able to run much and will not be able to make an effort. Dzeko, who is 37 years old, won't be able to run much and I think he won't be able to make an effort.
What if Dzeko's age isn't a hurdle, but an opportunity for Fenerbahce? Consider this: Dzeko, like fine wine, has improved over time, reflected in his Serie A and Champions League outings. Could this benefit us?

Rather than an aging forward, view him as a mentor to our youngsters. His impact may lessen on-field, but his locker-room guidance could be priceless. Should we ignore his injury risk and focus on the larger benefit? Is this mere speculation or does it merit thought?

Dzeko, who is 37 years old, won't be able to run much and I think he won't be able to make an effort.
I think that a player of Dzeko caliber can give a lot to the Turkish league,he is the one who kept a lot of the Inter balance in the Champions League final against a great team like Manchester City is and of course he can still deliver in the Turkish League.I think the team who will be able to get it would be a great fit to fight for the title,he can surely make a difference in the Turkish League when he has been doing brilliantly with Inter in Serie A in Italy so I think any team from the Turkish League should fight to get it.

Personally, I think Edin Džeko will be able to play well in the Super Lig for at least 2 more years. Edin Džeko is 37 years old. Although it seems very old after listening to the age number. But his fitness is excellent. Last season he played in 33 matches in Serie A, 13 matches in Champions League, 5 matches in Coppa Italia, and 1 match in Supercoppa Italiana. He has no fitness issues. Even at the age of 37, his fitness is excellent. And so I think he can play well for at least 2/3 more years in Super Lig. I think Fenerbahçe would benefit if Edin Džeko signed a 2-year contract.

I think I am hearing Edin Dzeko s name through news every summer transfer season for like last 6-7 years. I think its too late to get him from now on. Turkish league isn't a league to do total retirement. Its highly competitive and matches on pitch are very physical. Old players like Gomis we may assume could only play like last 20 minutes at max. On the other hand I think Fenerbahçe will miss Enner Valencia a lot if he is really leaving. He wasn't very perfect player but he scored a lot. Hard to find such players.

I also think that Ryan Kent could be a good signing, but you have to ask who wanted this transfer to happen, the new manager or the president?
Of course dzeko is a very good striker in terms of finishing, but I can't be the only one who thinks that he will have a lot of injuries. Turkish league is a tough league compared to other leagues and it is a league that can have more injuries, especially for older players.
I think they will get a better result when they buy a striker and an extra winger.

Both a 2-year contract and such a hefty price are not really acceptable. If Dzeko had come 2-3 years ago, this money would have made sense, but a player on the brink of retirement right now is not given such a contract. I don't think Dzeko can handle 90 minute matches. However, he can enter the game later and contribute 25-30 minutes. No such contract is given for this. I don't think this transfer will happen, it just seems like news to pass the off season.

I hope it's an opportunity as you say and I want it to be so.I would also like to see a finishing striker like Dzeko come to the team but I wouldn't want him to come at this age. He's old for the league but we can say that he has the potential to be a top scorer. The important thing will be to survive the season with the least injuries.
Of course, a lot of players should benefit from his experience. Young strikers in Fenerbahce's youth system will benefit from the experience of a player who has played for such big teams. If he protects himself from hard knocks, I think he will be successful in the Turkish league.

There is no doubt about Edin Dzeko quality as he is having impressive record on European top clubs which is good with now age of 37 he is going to sign contract with Fenerbahçe for the next two years surely going to be his last assignment before retirement as now Fenerbahçe is already lost their top scorer Enner Valencia who is now going to play for the Brazilian club Internacional after having three years contract things looking interesting for the Turkish clubs as they are improving quality trying to have good players even mostly are near their retirement but still it's good for them hopefully in coming years they will be improved finances which will help them for having more players for the better results in UEFA as well.

I don't think a two-year contract will be signed.Fenerbahçe president Ali koç will most likely make transfers for one year, especially for players of such a high age, as his term of office expires in one year.We don't know who will be president next year.If there is no good success this year, the next president may send most of the players bought during the Ali Koç period. He will want to keep the contract years short so that the team does not pay compensation.Dzeko's fitness may be good, but the league he comes from is Turkey. There will be matches where he will play for the sake of getting injured here, especially derbies, they will say that it is very hard and tough.

Edin Dzeko stellar record in elite European clubs unquestionably demonstrates his exceptional talent. At 37 years old his upcoming two year deal with Fenerbahçe seems to be his last job before retiring. After losing their top goal scorer Enner Valencia who signed a three year deal with Brazilian club Internacional Fenerbahçe is now in an interesting period. Turkish clubs are working to improve the calibre of their squads despite mostly focusing on players towards the conclusion of their careers. Future financial gains might make it possible for them to hire more talented players, which would ultimately produce better outcomes in UEFA competitions.

I don't think Edin Džeko will have a 2-year contract. Because he is very old.
There is a very high probability of going from Turkey to Arabia for retirement, because they offer very high salaries to European players.

I hope Fenerbahçe fans are not getting hyped for this honestly. If they are, its very bad news. If this transfer happens with such terms we are reading here I am sure this season will be last season of Ali Koç as Fenerbahçe president. They need to have proper manager first. Let him review team and do transfer according to needs of the team. Early hyped transfers don't make any sense other than making fans hyped. Fenerbahçe has bigger issues to solve and Dzeko isn't gonna solve anything.

I don't think Edin Džeko will have a 2-year contract. Because he is very old.
There is a very high probability of going from Turkey to Arabia for retirement, because they offer very high salaries to European players.
Most chances this contract will exist for the next 2 years because both parties are in talk and most of the things are already settled with just announcement is coming from both sides in next few days even he is 37 years old but very strong and fit player by his body.

He already has few offers from the Saudi League as well which are not considered because Edin Dzeko wants to stay here in European Leagues even now after end of these two years contract how things will go not clear because it's depend on his body and health if he will be able to play then maybe he also tries to go in Saudi league for the one or two seasons after completing his contract here in Turkey.

Arda Güler's future is still unclear. Fenerbahçe fans must be hoping to see him stay for a longer time period. To be honest I hope to see this. Because his release clause is only around 18 million euros which isn't much at all. A club that aims to help this kind of skilled youngsters reach their potential can simply sign him for this amount.

I assume he wouldn't be attracted to a contract extension either for now. I can understand that while there are really big clubs being speculated with making an offer for him soon. I have seen the latest rumour as Benfica on Transfermarkt. But if he will really leave then I would like to see him at clubs such as Ajax and Dortmund. Because this kind of clubs are great for a skilled youngster to improve his skills faster.

Arda is the most talked about and perhaps the most anticipated player in the league at the moment. I think he should play in a better team as soon as possible, if he gains European experience at this age, he will have a great opportunity to improve himself. But if he sits in Fenerbahçe's bench, we will see one of the worst possible scenarios for him.
If he plays for an average team in a good league, he can be on the radar of big clubs next season. I don't think he can play in Dortmund at the moment, he could shine in a slightly lighter team Smiley

According to the latest news, Edin Dzeko has rejected Saudi Arabia. His wife didn't want to live there. Despite being offered a contract of 20 million Euros per year, it is not every player's job to refuse such an offer so as not to live in Arabia, and for a 37-year-old on the brink of retirement. Therefore, the possibility of coming to Fenerbahçe has been strengthened. Even if there is a lot of money involved, some may prefer Türkiye instead of Saudi Arabia. Although Türkiye has recently reduced its livable level, there is still at least half of the country trying to preserve the values of a secular republic. Foreigners are also aware of this.

This was spotted few days back as Edin Dzeko is not going to Saudi Arab even they are giving him luxury offer because life is never been easy in Saudi Arab for the peoples which are living in Europe even we have many promises and other facilities by authorities because still environment and conditions are not acceptable for the many those never prefer money like we have Messi and now Edin Dzeko but as Saudis are doing hard work and spreading huge funds for their league and future it's good thing.

Fenerbahçe is giving him 4 Million, and he is rejecting 20 Million surely never been easy with Türkiye is still had many things which are acceptable for the foreigners, and they can manage life easily which is never been easy in Saudi Arab which is big issue for the many stars which are refusing and trying to have better offers from MLS and Türkiye instead of going to Saudi Professional League.

Arda Guler's popularity continues to increase day by day. His name has started to be heard of more in Europe thanks to the news made about him. Fabrizio Romano tweeted about him a couple of times and some well-known meme-making accounts on Twitter have also started to include him in their memes. For example this one: https://twitter.com/nocontextfooty/status/1669265695358562305?s=20

Especially after bigger teams' hearing about his release clause's being only 17.5 million euros it is really difficult for Fenerbahce to keep him longer.

The man is 37 years old, and his name is still mentioned in the transfer season. Fenerbahçe was interested in Dzeko and offered 8 million Euros for 2 seasons.
Despite the 37 year old player name being spoken up frequently during the transfer season it seems that the suggested agreement with Fenerbahçe is far from ideal. In light of the player current stage of development offering 8 million Euros for a two season contract seems extravagant. Even while such a sum could have been acceptable a few years ago it does not meet the standards for a player who is close to retiring. Dzeko ability to maintain himself for the entire 90 minutes of a game is questionable at this point but he still has time left in the game to contribute 25 to 30 minutes of experience and talent. But rather than a possible consequence It appears more likely that this transfer rumour is only a news tale created to fill the gap of the off season.

We have seen Edin Dzeko's name countless times during the transfer seasons for Fenerbahçe and even Galatasaray if I recall correctly. And finally it seems like it will happen. I also think 8 million Euros for 2 seasons is too much for a player at his age. Even Eto'o and Robinho came to Turkey at the age of 34, and Drogba at the age of 35. 37 is really too high. Turkish League's quality is highly debatable but we can say it is kinda physical league. 37-38 ages are very old for a player in the Big Three. I don't expect he will have a top performance time in here. I feel like a disappointment similar to Guiza is expecting Fenerbahce.
