It was a very well-deserved victory for Beşiktaş first of all. They were in control of the match most of the time and defeated Alanyaspor comfortably by 3-0.

Cenk Tosun impressed me a lot today. He won the penalty by himself and scored the penalty after. Later in the match, his second goal was just amazing. I don't want to admit but yes, foreign refs might be needed here. It shouldn't have come to this but it might be considerably better with foreign refs.

I'm in awe of Gedson literally every game. He is like a light version of Modric. I don't think he will stay in Turkey next year. Might even be the most expensive transfer out of Turkey. It is a success to play a player of this quality, with this physique, at this age and with this skill, in the Turkish Super League. The way he carries the midfield so confidently, his defensive runs, his ability to lead attacks. I’m also surprised to see a hungry Dele Alli. He’s been great so far, hopefully this goal gives him a bit more hunger. Besiktas started a good run and now, after a win on Friday, if other teams lose points, especially Galatasaray, would be a good boost for the team.
