I think Galatasaray should definitely sold him away if its possible, he is definitely not bad player but I think he is generally overrated. Galatasaray has another option anyways which is Leo Dubois. Indeed not worse than Boey in my opinion. Galatasaray needs better midfielder and maybe even winger as soon as possible to be relevant in second half of the league. They are competing for title and holding leadership position yet they are having hard time beating mediocre/weak teams.

If they could make 16 million out of him, then I am guessing that it's not going to be that terrible for the right back situation neither. They have Dubois for that position and he could easily cover the difference for sure and he wouldn't be too bad. They would have both the money and the title at the same time.

I do agree that Boey is a great player and he would definitely be of help to them to win the title but having this much money is a lot more important, you wouldn't get this much money usually for him and when you could, they should take advantage of it. If they believe he could be a team star like Muslera has been and play here another 10 years and be great, then keep him but if not then sell him and get the money.

I also think that they should sell the player if they are going to make a big profit with that sale and if with that money they could be able to buy some other good player that is from some position that they are not doing well, but when a team only sells players and then doesn't buy a good player to stay in the position where they are more vulnerable or they haven't had a good result, so this type of team just sells players and sinks


Gaziantep FK 1 - 1 Istanbul
