Those two games will be the final that they are looking forward to unless the other teams are dropping points until then. Icardi's statistics are quite ok now with 12 goals in 16 games. But the only one who is seriously standing out is Valencia with more than one goal per game on average. If he wasn't 33 years old already, he would probably leave Turkey at the end of the season.

Besiktas has both Aboubakar and Tosun who are also okay strikers while Gala has Icardi. Although Icardi struggled a bit at first, he is getting better. Mertens is the player that has not been able to score as he would like to.

They need at least 4 points to stay safe until Fenerbahçe match. Galatasaray bit lucky at the end of season because their match against Hatayspor will be guarenteed 3 points. So its still rather impossible to say Galatasaray will win title.

No doubt, that game between Besiktas and Fenerbahce basically sealed their win for the title as well, that would have been 3 points if Fenerbahce managed to get a win and it would have been still just one game difference, but now it's 2 games and very hard to cover at this point, plus Galatasaray keeps on getting easy wins and playing very well.

As mentioned before there is a doom waiting for Galatasaray though, they have Icardi, the guy with the hattrick and an assist, and next season he is gone, it was just a loan spell there and if they can't get him then next season they will suck. They can't be this good with Gomis, so they will need to find another player there and I am pretty sure that nobody will be as good as him.

Both teams must now prepare for next season. They can give their young players more chances to jersey. Both teams have very talented young players.

It is sad that Beşiktaş can't keep up with wins after beating Fenerbahçe. I thought they would be more motivated to close points difference and may hit second place at the end of this season. But I guess their squad quality can't survive the expectations. Muleka isn't very good player let's agree on that. Beşiktaş should find better players next season for sure. Galatasaray or Fenerbahçe, it doesn't matter who wins this season, they both built strong squads for future with talented players and gems.

At the beginning of the season, I thought that Beşiktaş would become the champion. I think Beşiktaş's squads is not bad. I think even better than Fenerbahçe's squad. After beating Fenerbahce despite the referee, Beşiktaş was advantageous for the second place. I think they will be much better with one or two transfers next season.

That would significantly raise their chances if they survive these games as you call it, but at the same time the other teams also have to win their games. Now if Galatasaray loses one of those games, they can bring themselves into an uncomfortable situation, but that is only the case if the other teams use the opportunity. There are countless examples in other leagues where the leader of the table shows some signs of weakness, but then the teams behind also show some weakness. That's in Ligue 1 but also in La Liga or even in the Bundesliga. Only in the Premier League we now have a situation where Arsenal gave away a big lead. But Gala has stabilized their game recently after that loss in between.

Fenerbahce won the match 1-2 at yesterday. As you said, Fenerbahçe is on the back of Galatasaray. But there are few games left. I still think that Galatasaray has more chances if they don't make a mistake. However as Fatih Terim said, "it's the football that's the football, something happens, everything is something happens."

Fenerbahce are a really interesting team now truthfully. Because they are still looking like they are creating a challenge for themselves first and then fight hard for a comeback to win the match.

After that we are watching the players celebrating it like crazy. They are normally strong enough to win these matches easier against these opponents. But for example they made things very difficult for themselves against Basaksehir recently. After still seeing the score 1-0 I thought like that was it for them. But Joao Pedro took a big responsibility in the last minutes and scored 2 goals to carry his team to the victory. He suddenly became the hero for the team. The funny thing is that the last time he scored in the league before this match was on September 2022. He had only one goal in the whole season but he saved his team by doing a great work in this match.

Trabzonspor lost a lot of points with the bad points it got in the last weeks and made things harder to go to the champions league next season. Markovic proved to be a good transfer. Trabzonspor took a lead with Markovic's goal at 11 minutes. It was a clean shot from a very narrow angle. Trabzonspor scored an early goal, but the control of the next match was under the control of Sivasspor.

Ankaragücü hosted Giresunspor in the first match of the day.Ankaragücü won the match 3-1 with 3 goals in the second half and scored 3 more points.Ankaragücü started the second half with 2 substitutions after lamine diack scored an own goal towards the end of the first half. Ankaragücü, who accelerated the match, equalized the situation after 9 minutes and brought it to 1-1.With 2 goals from Taylan Antalyalı and Ali Sowe, they won the match 3-1.I can easily say that ankaragücü played a dominant game throughout the match.Giresunspor did not even have a shot during the match.It seems that they will most likely be relegated.

The final weeks of the league are closing. There is fierce competition for the title between Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe. Trabzonspor lost 4-1 to Sivasspor and has no match this week. Beşiktaş, which did not play last week (because of Hatayspor), will face Ümraniyespor this week. Galatasaray will face Karagümrük at home. Karagümrük took their last defeat against Fenerbahçe. Fenerbahce will face Istanbulspor at home.
