GW36 could have ended better than this for me... Still happy with my current situation though. But I'm mad at Semenyo! I had him for many rounds and he messed up.

I sold him finally for Cherki and then he scored a goal.    Guardiola rotated by thinking of the FA Cup finale and didn't even sub Haaland in... I could have been more comfortable otherwise. Anyway let's focus on the last 2 rounds!

Exactly the perfect rotation I needed for this round to survive Harkorede with his TC chip - never thought Pep would bench Halaand though, never. Worked perfectly for me, not the best week but yeah the gap is reachable.

O'Reilly cleansheet was all Cls63 needed to snatch our 5 aside mini pool away - that would have enough to pay off his -50 handicap and still be ahead.

I still feel completely undone by Pep's roulette, I know O'Reilly is owned by almost everyone else so I didn't care much about him, but Haaland was must have for that game and with how Man City dominated from start to finish, I don't think Haaland would have at the very least get a goal or more, which would have paid off brilliantly for me.

I have just one transfer going into this gameweek, and I'm still at a crossroad on which player to bring in from Arsenal, I like the of Burnley being a weak defensive team to target Gyokeres, but my concern is how ineffective Arsenal attack can be.

If I don't go Gyokeres, I can cover with Saliba and still have Pedro in a decent home game - but then again Chelsea looks like the worst team in the league.

The more I think about Arsenal players the lest sure I am about who to pick for my third Arsenal spot. I have pros and cons for every single one of them. In the end I think I will base my decision on who I want gone from my team most and just pick that position.

Looks like I'm not the only one having Arsenal troubles, and there is only 2.5 hours to the deadline, I really hate the potential difference that whoever I pick might make, I doubt I can break into the top 3 with how identical every team looks and 2 games left, which means my best play might be trying to solidify my position and hope for a push with 1 or 2 differentials.

I couldn’t bring myself to captain either Saka or Gyokeres because of how unconvinced I am of both players, as for Gyokeres, I had to even bring him in because I didn’t want to him to be a differential against me and that’s why I stayed home with Haaland as my “the devil you know” captain, If it were mid season I would have kept Joao Pedro and move to bring in Palmer back as my differentials. Had it been I could Calvert-Lewin to Gyokeres without downgrading either Semenyo to Doku or KDH/Ndiaye, I would have kept Joao Pedro for this week.

Yeah, a lot of different captain picks. I have to admit that Haaland is a weird one - a tough game and they play the Cup final a few days later.
Ofc, he can still score 2 in the first 30 mins but anyone not going Arsenal is taking a big risk. Happy to see the team I'm hunting (B1g4udge) taking it.

He has struggled with scoring goals and getting assists then suddenly, him and Watkins come tiring down Liverpool for good. 2 assist and 3 goals between these 2 and I don’t really see anyone gaining in on that.

After missing 10 points on Gravenberch by leaving him out last GW, I felt he would want to pick up on goal scoring and brought him in against my good instinct and I’ve missed it. Calvert-Lewin would have being just better.
McGinn almost messed me up, getting a yellow but, he scored the last goal, that’s okay.

That was the very first thing that came to my mind when Joao Pedro started making the gesture to be substituted, but it’s too early to know if I dodged a bullet until Gyokeres players and gets a positive return for my trust 🤤

Semenyo seems like the most trusted player on that right flank for Guardiola so I don’t expect any changes for their next game, with Cherki still being an unserious player, maybe not a 90 minutes playing time for Semenyo though.

Another week, another mistake. I remembered on Thursday about the deadline being a day later on the Friday. Then (as I have done may times in the past), I forgot to make the changes before the deadline.

cls63 is top of the table with 2253 points and I am in 24th place having accumulated 1995 points. This makes me definitely acknowledge the efforts even more by all of the dedicated managers here that are constantly monitoring their teams and making changes as they try to finish as high up in the table as possible.

In fact I was aware of Burnley's game history against top clubs of the PL this season. But I still wanted to trust Saka for captaincy. 

It's mostly because of thinking that Burnley have already relegated. Maybe at Emirates things would be more different for Arsenal - hopefully.

I thought of Gyökeres but couldn't trust him enough. Rather than Haaland, I think Bruno would also be a really good choice indeed!

If he's not starting I wouldn't want to see him anywhere near the team squad to be honest - Delap is fully fit, he deserves to start.

I did the same thing with Anderson and Wilson; the only reason I started with Wilson was because he had a better fixture than Anderson - this is one of the reasons I dislike making adjustments close to the deadline; those decisions are not always smart.

Burnley has nothing else to play for, and Arsenal cannot afford to concede any more goals. I don't want to seem greedy, but Gabriel's assist and Arsenal's clean sheet shouldn't be enough to ask for. A 1-0 scoreline should be perfect.
