Yup. right now he's too hot to handle for the opponents, and Guardiola always go for players that can play in multiple positions, so I really don't think that is why Semenyo is the special guy right now.

I wish I could milk him properly before he goes cold.

Without the pens how many G/A would Palmer have had over those games ? Palmer is nowhere near his best if you ask me, and if Liverpool weren't struggling generally Wirtz number should have been more but they'll never surpass that of Palmer with how both teams are structured, and Palmer being on penalties.

Without the pens how many G/A would Palmer have had over those games ? Palmer is nowhere near his best if you ask me, and if Liverpool weren't struggling generally Wirtz number should have been more but they'll never surpass that of Palmer with how both teams are structured, and Palmer being on penalties.

Let not forget Liverpool started well than most teams at the beginning of the season. Take the penalities away, if Palmer had played 20+ matches this season as a starter even in his current form he would have had double digits by now..

It was a fair bet- both Wirzt and Palmer are attacking demons and same position too. It is not over yet.

It would have only been a fair bet if Wirtz was on penalties as well, I’m not arguing that Palmer wouldn’t have outscored him if he played as many match and minutes as Wirtz have done this season, he’s definitely expected to do so, that’s why included the phrase “with how both teams are structured”, even without penalties Palmer should still be the clear favorite, Wirtz primary task will always be chances creation, and you can’t say the same for Palmer in team that’s completely centered around him.

What a round. 17 points from 8 players, I don't recall it ever being this bad.
With Palmer, Pedro and Semenyo all giving big returns, this will be my biggest red arrow in a very long time.

Not sure how many players there are in Fantasy, but my overall gameweek rank currently sits at 12.812.337. That has to be the absolute bottom.

I gave up on Pep roulette after so many misses this season with City players. The only one safe is Haaland, whom I sold because I'm shit, and Semenyo only until he becomes rotation victim.

I’ve been a bit out of the game, as I’ve had some difficult days and didn’t check the results for the week. I logged in today and it turns out my team performed really well, especially compared to the previous weeks. Even the players on the bench scored quite a lot of points, although, of course, those don’t count for me. I was especially pleased with Virgil. In the past few weeks he hadn’t performed particularly well, and now he’s scored a full 17 points! I should have made him captain…

Our next game will be so important because it is also an away game and can also be as difficult as this game against Brentford turned out to be. Arteta should not underestimate any team at this point; there are still many games to play.
