I would say my team was 80-90% ready but Arsenal swopping in to sign Ezri Konsa does change a number of things for my strategy because my initial plan was to go the first 3-4 weeks with using a single transfer before pulling my wildcard, I don't know what the plan for Konza is, does he get slotted into RB, or does he get paired with Gabriel at CB, even if he doesn't play in GW 1, I believe he's brought in to be starter, possibly RB if Saliba comes back, I just need guaranteed minutes for whoever my Arsenal assets are going to be.

It's really awesome that we've a sponsor for the FPL just before the beginning of the games.    I hope we can reach a similar number of players from last season also after this news...

By the way it's really hard to build a squad at the start as we don't know anything about the performances yet. Hoping to have a lucky start!    Some recent transfer moves in the PL have been thrilling also.

The game doesn’t get started until Friday 1 hour 30 minutes before the first match of the season, players prices remain fixed until the game begins.

To be honest, I’m not sure, I’ll lean more towards Mosquera than Calafiori (for one, both is risky, maybe not for GW1), I remember Hincapie being preferred to him at left back sometimes last season, aside Raya and Gabriel, I believe more teams news or matches might be needed to be sure on who’s who.

Im in as well,happy to be back,last season i was one of the worst in our league but this season i really want to go for the top places and show that i can be better. Still was making two days my fantasy team and barely made it with spending the last cent and still not satisfied with my team. I can see that o most everyone went for the same players for their teams. Its really hard to build a team around Haaland Bruno and Gabriel,those 3 are just too expensive but should give the most points in the first round.

Does anyone know the status on Calafiori? A lot of people are saying he might not play from the start in the first game but i have him in my team so need some extra info if anyone has it.

I still haven't started working on building my squad. I'm going to try to create my new season squad for at least 2-3 hours this evening. Because of the World Cup I feel like we haven't given a break at all.

It was only luck for me to become the champion last year. Therefore I'm not expecting to win any prize this year.

Yes I think they are both going to have problems in getting minutes as the games go by, I believe both will start against Coventry tomorrow because most players would not be game ready. First game crises will come with Hincape and Myles Lewis Skelly looking to get more minutes on the left so even if Calafiori actually starts I think he will play at most 60 minutes.

As for Mosquera, he was supposed to be a regular in the team until Saliba actually comes back but with the signing of Konsa, those minutes wouldn’t be guaranteed for him except Timber is injured. For now I will say that Arsenal defense doesn’t have a right shape until game week four until we see clearly how Arteta wants to line them up

It's difficult to set up a team and sleep without something else coming into your head - I try to tell my myself " you don't need to do much, just do your best and if it doesn't work" there's still WC chip for corrections. Too risky to not go with Halaand - it's very difficult
