Halaand without Pep = ?

True is, we're going to see different versions of Halaand but which version? It's difficult to predict that guy 

Halaand is Halaand, and we saw what he was capable of without Pep at the World Cup, so I believe he'll do just fine, and the fixtures are great. We had the same argument with Halaand last season, and those who went without him suffered greatly.

Tbh drafts looks more better without Halaand and Gabriel, but the problem is they're not players to easily get back into the team when you need to.

My username is Ticer Dime, I hope that is ok because I read too late here that it should be a team name? I think I should receive an invitational link or is there anything else I need to do?

I have been reading some things about FPL and I was stunned as there are all these resources, blogs and websites about tricks. There's probably a real industry around FPL. They make it sound simple and like science at the same time. Consider my 2 mBTC a gift. From the first look it seems to me that the freshman season is all about learning. I will take the time now to set my team up. Good luck for GW 1.

Haaland is but mortal and if he doesn't get service then you will easily find him getting outscored by all the non Haaland drafts. Also he just had a World Cup.

Gabriel there is no good reason to go without him if you want Arsenal defence, the other defenders will be going through Arteta's looney tunes rotation.

Now you have succeeded in confusing me. I replaced Haaland with Isak, I am feeling that I have made a grave mistake. Haaland doing it in the world cup is a testament that he is so good, just a beast...

Entry fee sent, so officially, i am in guys, for the second season in a row. I had a lot of fun with you guys last season and i wasn't about to pass it up this season, who knows, this could be my lucky year.

At £8.0, i think Gabriel is just a little bit too expensive for me. I understand he brings goals and defensive contributions, but since it is the start of the season, i don't think i'll want to have him just yet.

Most of the disappointment I faced last season was down to regularly not changing my team before deadlines. After much deliberating, I will participate again this season (thank you icopress).

I know I will miss deadlines, time will be of the essence again therefore I am not expecting to have an outstanding season. To start with, this was a random team selection therefore I might change my team before the season officially starts.

I know I will miss deadlines, time will be of the essence again therefore I am not expecting to have an outstanding season. To start with, this was a random team selection therefore I might change my team before the season officially starts.

This one of the most important part of this and most of us actually had this problem hopefully I can also have more time to look into my team before the deadline day.

Once European competition starts it’s even harder to do it five days to the deadline day because of the twerks most managers actually do. Some managers rotation affected me last season, hopefully I could follow up with news fews hours to deadline.

Im not comfortable with my team to be honest, i dont know what to do and who to put in my team since this time is nothing clear about who is gonna be the star of the season and which team is gonna be real solid, we all know about Arsenal and is ok but you can only have 3 players from that team.

Liverpool? Maybe, Manchester United? Looks good but we all knew from past season they are not relliable, Manchester City? I have big doubts about them under the new maresca coaching.

That feeling is normal and it is the same for all managers. I don't think even pre-season is a good indicator to build a team, because the 'big boys' who participated in the world cup were away and the real competition is different from a friendly. I am just going to put something together and include players who are proven, like Haaland and Bruno.

Manchester City? I have big doubts about them under the new maresca coaching.

They are selling everybody and not replacing them. I am not sure what the plan is for City this season.

Pretty good solid team,we mostly have the same players i o most have half of those players. Still wondering if Califiori will play today from the start that is the only worrying thing for me so far. O most everyone choosed Haaland,Bruno and Joao Pedro and is building the team around them. Lammens is a good option on goal if Man Utd can keep a clean sheet but against Hull i think it is possible. Dubravka i think wont start because of Kinsky,but still you got Lammens so you are good to go. I think you dont have the funds for Igor Thiago you would need to make some big changes for him.

I fully agree, not having Haaland offers interesting options to have a stronger midfielder + Isak. Its also true that its easier to make changes with Haaland in the team later on then without him.

I really had a much bigger difficulty in creating the squad this year compared to the past ones. There are a lot of question marks in my head. How many people are there who got Gabriel for 8 million I wonder?

All right boys! I did it! Clicked the autofit feature on EPL, chose 1 guy to keep from every refresh, threw out Haaland (who appeared in every single draft) and did what I haven't done since my first season: max Liverpool!

I really like your team, you made enough space/money to have the two top players which are Haaland and Bruno Fernandes, and there comes my main doubt about my team, i didnt have any of them but not because i cant is more like i dont know if they really worth the money, they are super expensive and picking them left you without so much room for other players, but i still think it could cost me so much. Haaland is my main doubt since i dont know how City is gonna behave.

That's true, but 1-3 game weeks with him shouldn't be a problem, and given that all GW1 picks are risk picks, he's worth the risk - if it backfires, I can easily remove him and spread the bank

Didn't you learn something from last season? I recall you going without Halaand, which was one of the worst moves you made last season.
