Even if you do not have enough time to look at your team for significant periods, just ensuring that suspended and/or injured players are not selected can make a big difference when accumulating points.

I cannot be the only one that suffered last season as a result of missing deadlines. There were times when players were injured or suspended and there was plenty of time to substitute them (or replace them entirely) however I failed to make the changes and I probably did that more than any other manager. I hope that is something you and the other managers will not face.

This one of the most important part of this and most of us actually had this problem hopefully I can also have more time to look into my team before the deadline day.

Once European competition starts it’s even harder to do it five days to the deadline day because of the twerks most managers actually do. Some managers rotation affected me last season, hopefully I could follow up with news fews hours to deadline.

I guess a lot us expected too much from Manchester United. I have 3 United assets in my team and one of them is even my captain, and that kind of sums up gameweek one for me. Ipswich had a great game against Sunderland and took all 3 points, they head to Old Trafford for gameweek two, can anyone imagine Manchester United losing their first two epl games against newly promoted sides.

Historically this is the very first time it has happened that Manchester United lost on opening day to a promoted side, but we all saw why that was the case today and to be sincere immediately I watched the first half I came to the conclusion that except Manchester United adds a defender before the window closes most especially a left back, if they fail to add that defender and also look into their set up then I will say it’s not reasonable to have their defense.

Tottenham went ahead to ship in three goals today, from the what I saw Kinsky who is in most teams due to his price might not be trusted much for the season plus Sensei might be out of many teams before international break.

The question from next game week will be is it a good choice to spend 12m on Bruno

I understood Maguire was there to block set pieces but what was the Heaven guy there for ? Carrick is a clown.

Depending on a 30+ Bruno to always create chances is their biggest problem I'd say.

Man united players costed everything a lot. Who ever used bench boost on this game and had 3 players from Man Utd didnt profit at all. I had two in my starting lineup and they didnt do anything. Im surprised that Hull players really secured Bruno this well. He couldnt do anything and i expected from him a lot,the good thing is he wasnt my captain.

Ipswich are a better team than Hull City, for anyone hoping for some decent haul from Manutd assets in the next game you better lower your expectations. 

I totally agree, i watched their game against Sunderland, and it was a very decent performance. Ipswich also spent in the region of £150m on transfers this summer, and by their standards, that is a lot of money, so i expect good performances from them, and i think they would stay up. They are sure to give Carrick and his team a lot of headaches in the next game, i am surely taking out Maguire from my team, lol.

I got the wrong Sangere too; I got the Sangere in Nottingham Forest even when I would have been able to get the Sangare from Brentford by downgrading Ballard, whom I regret picking.

So the Spurs team are still shit, after all the investments they have made to try to win the league. Their supporters must be hurting

Cursing the day when I decided to take Bruno F. Had most drafts without him and then I take him give him captain Really thought my GW was bad but looking at the teams a bit, most had even worse experiance.

Now hoping for right "Sangare" to go up with the price 2 or 3 times and make it even harder for most to jump onboard. Defcon in less than 70 minutes is the main reason why I took him and he even had few more good chances in addition to those assist he got.

He's a decent pick but far from a must have player. What he is though is '4.5 points per GW' player that you can leave in your team from start to finish.
I don't really expect him to haul like he did just now.

There were two of 4.5m players that currently playing on the wing instead of defense, Hume and De-Cuyper, I had De-Cuyper but switched simply because Brighton are playing in Europe which should be important, and he played just 13 minutes in that one, that should have been the clue for me to go for him, he's now got a goal and a possible clean along with it, while I'm went with Hume.

My bench boost players were only able to offer me 7 points, due to Sunderland triple bet that didn't pay off, I would have been much better off spreading it across several other teams, but regardless, it's a chip that I'm glad I no longer have to worry about.

Bruno as captain was another shitty decision for me, alongside triple players from the devils in red, but since Haaland is looking no better atm (he still has about 14 minutes to prove me wrong), I can live with my choice..

I still like my team going into GW2, so there is nothing that's going to change with my plans just yet, it's just that WC/FH Gameweek 3 is now looking more probably unless Man City remains unconvincing in against Crystal Palace, then 2 FTs should be enough for me to navigate the next week

Regretting I didn’t just used it now because it would be much better, I am now counting on a bench next game that has fixture which are tricky.

Brighton were brilliant, which was understandable based on how Aston currently do not have shape, next game against Chelsea actually will give me idea of who trust between Gomez and Hinshelwood.

For Manchester City, and what they displayed today, I am definitely gutted I went for Foden in the last period and sadly it was downgrading Mamadou Sangare to Gomez and then swapped Odegaard for Foden.

I agree 100%, be it out wide on in the number 10 position, Foden doesn't offer the team very much and he'd have to improve, or else Maresca would keep him out of the team, just like Pep did in the final few season's of his time at the Etihad.

I was caught between Foden or Cherki, and thank goodness i went with the latter and i think he would be very important for City this season, and by extension, managers that have him in their team. City just completed the signing of Bouaddi for €100m, i don't know anything about him, is he that good?

All blanks and i have o most everyone of them in the team,hopefully Joao Pedro pulls my team up. Its a good thing Szoboslai to score a goal to pull me up a little and save this week. Currently got 41 points need at least a goal from Joao Pedro to pull me up over 50 points to make a solid week. Semenyo and Haaland really didnt do anything and this costed me a lot in this round.
