Congratulations to "Perfecto teams" who have the perfect team for this round  .

In my case i can recover a lot thanks to the two Chelsea players in front Joao Pedro and Morgan rodgers, so despite being in the back wagon im still not so far with 52 points, it was a bad round but not so bad in the end taking into account two of my starters didnt play and one of them was my captain so in the overall of a bad round its not that bad, it could be much worse.

Now i have to adjust my team.

I suppose my week could have been worse, and I've definitely had shitter bench boosts in my history of Fantasy, so I shouldn't complain. The GW1 promoted teams trap was a real slicer though, but if you told me United would lose every time I smacked them into my team, I would max United every week. No offence my beloved United supporters. You'd do the same to me.

Man united players costed everything a lot. Who ever used bench boost on this game and had 3 players from Man Utd didnt profit at all. I had two in my starting lineup and they didnt do anything. Im surprised that Hull players really secured Bruno this well. He couldnt do anything and i expected from him a lot,the good thing is he wasnt my captain.

That would be me. Bench boost, max united players, max Liverpool players. Captain Bruno, vice Gabriel. Completely against the lessons I should have learnt over the course of my short Fantasy experience.

This is not a game for the heart but for the head, I keep telling myself, and yet I cannot seem to follow my own instructions. Thank god for keeping Pedro.

Yeah, can't be that mad with myself. Initially I had some players that scored a lot of points, but also Isak instead of Pedro and no Ben White.
We just started - although it would look so much better if Szoboszlai did not score late on I won't complain just yet.

My team looks good for the next 2 GW's as well, so I'll evaluate then. Only thing I'm afraid of is that I have no Liverpool assets and they have a nice run of games coming.

It was really difficult to pick the right players on GW1 but I'm still happy with 66 points. It could have been higher though if I made a different decision on some players about whom I was hesitant. 

But anyway... Haaland and Bruno both were a huge mess! Especially after watching Palmer yesterday I'm thinking of buying him and selling Bruno soon. But it depends on Bruno's effort against Ipswich this week.

Haaland and Bruno were a complete miss,im just shocked that both players played so badly and that they didnt do anything for their teams,captained Haaland and it just destroyed my week,still got 52 points without using a chip. Bruno for me must do something against Ipswich,i captained him as well for the GW2 so i think he will be good. Still early to make transfers so doing with what i have now. Joao Pedro for me was a complete hit in this round and just sad that i didnt captain him for this round.

Some good calls, some bad calls, excellent BB and ranking around 500k, all in all I will take it. Could have been so much worse, Sangare the saviour 


GW1 winner is xLays, congrats on 82 points. Picking Hinshelwood was inspiring. I wanted him as well but he killed me at the end of previous season. That time I was also picking between Gross and him, and as it stands chose wrong both times.

Definitely not the start I was hoping for, especially after playing the BB right from the start. Being around 20 points off the top already is tough.
I still can't believe Thiago missed that penalty and failed to return any attacking output when Brentford managed to score 3 goals. On top of that only 1 out of my 5 defenders managed more than 2 points. It was just a disaster across the board.

I skipped Haaland thinking it would let me build a more balanced squad filled with reliable picks but after Gameweek 1, I'm second guessing that decision. There’s still a long way to go of course, but as we all know, setting the tone with a strong start usually makes all the difference. Hopefully things turn around quickly in GW2!

The thing that I have Szoboszlai and Isak both could be a little consolation for you. I was undecided between Gross and Hinshelwood and I picked the wrong player again. I have started the season unluckily but we still have a very long league ahead of us. So there will be many opportunities for everyone to turn things around. 

Bro you have to be trolling, you are literally in first place.

All you need is maybe replace Isak with Joao Pedro and you should be good! But leave top prize for me will you? 

I'm really not trolling. I'm regretful as my first draft was better. I should have been more successful on a week that De Cuyper helped me collect 17 points. I don't think I will be in top places this year.

Besides as Chelsea showed a much better offensive performance than I expected I lost the first place. As a result it was a week which is full of disappointments for me.

I skipped Haaland thinking it would let me build a more balanced squad filled with reliable picks but after Gameweek 1, I'm second guessing that decision.

My first draft without Haaland in game week one actually had a more balanced squad, having Morgan Rogers and Pedro, but I ended up changing it because of uncertainty, but I feel like if I had left Joao Pedro and Morgan Rogers in the lineup, I probably would have done better than I did this GW1. All the same, it is the first week, and I do not regret the start that I have had.

I should have been more successful on a week that De Cuyper helped me collect 17 points.

De Cuyper is a defender on FPL, but he played so high up the pitch, increasing his goal-scoring chances; a good pick.

Didn’t expect this ngl. GW1 and it’s my first time joining this tournament pool and I already won the GW1 freebet. lol I guess I just got lucky, but hopefully the good run continues.

I noticed that almost all of us had pretty much the same captain and vice-captain picks either Bruno or Haaland. No wonder our scores ended up being so low.  But I’m still captaining one of them next GW. If they put up another disappointing score, I’m 100% selling them in GW3.  €15M for Haaland is looking pretty expensive right now.

73 points in GW1, for now the best start of the season by a mile. But using the BB chip didn't give me much, and not placing Sangare in the team is something that I'm mad about. He was my second transfer before I locked my team. Damn it, there go 10 points down the drain. But all in all, I'm ultra happy with GW1.

I skipped him in the very first draft but at the last moment decided to make room for him, just because the last times i avoid to pick the star player i ended up paying it in a bad way.

The main problem im seeing right now in this Premier League is they are aplying "Chiquitapismo" you are gonna understand it, in the way it seems like all the teams are equals now and the favorites are not longer so strong.

Lets see how all of this evolves, until now i dont know what to really do, Manchester United again being a complete no sense and Totenham the same is impossible to know how they are gonna behave.

That decision shouldn't hurt you much, because Haaland didn't do anything against Bournemouth, missed a sitter or two and ended the gameweek on 2 points. Though i know he can come back with a couple of goals against Palace on Friday, but until then.

I'm not happy with my team, neither am i sure of what to do with it, so i would go into gameweek two almost in the same way. Thierno Barry earned 8 points, but sadly he was on my bench. I think he will have a decent season and i could create space for him in my team.

Funny enough, when the name "Isak" is mentioned, what comes to my mind is Newcastle, I haven't embraced the reality that Isak is a liverpool player who is supposed to be leading the attack in the absence of Salah.

His yet to show good performance in Liverpool that’s why he’s name doesn’t stick yet. I suppose he would rectify that this season.

Hopefully, because I'll have him in my team till GW3 and then evaluate his performance.

Hinshelwood is the man we think Gross is, he doesn't get the hype but he's has been the main killer from last season. Everytime we get hyped on Gross we punishes us..

I'm actually disappointed that the only reason why I didn't get Haaland was just so I could build a team that better generally and my idea was surely to have Palmer (who I had until the last minutes) and having Palmer would have meant White over Gabriel which would have been even better,

The idea of everyone that used that BB chip is simple, they just wanted it over with, the last thing you want when the game get into full swing or when playing your wild card is having to give much relevance to your bench players simply because you still have the chip.

Trofo has always been a Foden guy , and it's like going to Buwaytress to ask "Nunez vs.?" Kind of questions and expect a neutral answer.

After the first weekend, I find myself near the bottom of the league table 

I lost a lot of potential accumulated points by missing deadlines. Missing deadlines and not substituting injured and/or suspended players is extremely costly as too many points will be dropped. If I have any chance of succeeding or at least competing in the competition this season, I cannot miss deadlines. I do not want to repeat my mistakes again and advise my fellow managers to pay attention to the deadlines too.
