What did Mbeumo do to deserve to be dropped? He literally hauled against Ipswich. Sure, you could say he missed an open goal in the second half, but he scored and assisted too. There is literally no reason to remove him from your team.

On the other hand, Szoboszlai looks really bad, apart from that penalty goal, and now since we haven't signed any right back, he will probably be used there as well, limiting his goal threat.

It was a huge but interesting gamble, putting it all on Bruno, not just the capt, but a TC in the same round Bruno had to score a hat trick. Bruno alone did almost well as my entire team in this round.
It’s going to be a tough beat and it would take only a DGW for that to happen this season if ever.

I suspect it isn’t about how he performed in their previous game really but, would be more about creating room for some more prospects following recent transfers into and within the league, can’t imagine their isn’t eyes on Barcola.

Barcola is the definition of "wait and see" though. Last season, everybody got burned with Wirtz. This season it seems to be Tzolis.

I generally do not like buying brand new players in the Premier League, with a few exceptions (Haaland).

Barcola can be one of those few exceptional cases, given his talent. He wasn’t having optimum time given the player rotation between Kvaratskhelia and Doue in his place at PSG. Looking at his huge signing fee of over £123m, you would expect him to be the priority left winger for Liverpool being rated ahead of Ngumoha and Munoz which would mean more playing time and though I don’t see him playing the 90 but, he would have the needed time to perform and can deliver on expectation. Except the EPL happens to him though.

So waiting, on those expectations might be a good caution but, it’s just the gamble you’re okay to go with as their can be a price hike if he eventually performs.

I was talking about his price, over 400k managers have transferred him out, so he's likely to drop sooner than expected, Tzolis too, over 300k have transferred him out. I'll still with Mbeumo a little bit and get Palmer/Rogers in GW4

I like Manchester United fixtures after GW5 but I'd rather have Palmer before his price goes up over my head.

I doubt he will be FPL relevant. He is a RW competing with Semenyo himself for minutes ironically, and I can't see him getting displaced any time soon.

How do you think the lower league teams feel when many of them have a total worth of less than the £125 million Manchester City just paid Chelsea to buy Fernandez or the £123 million Liverpool paid to buy Barcola? The market is significantly overpriced.

The Premier League is the most competitive league in the world. If Barcola becomes another failure in a long line of failures that were purchased for a big fee but could not handle the Premier League, then will we really be surprised?

Ndaiye is one of the most versatile players in the Premier League; aside from the RW, he can also play the LW, CAM, and SS and even the main-center forward. With the recent exit of Savinho and Marmoush, plus the unavailability of Doku, I won't be surprised to see him playing from any of the sides.

In my opinion, Chelsea is one of the clubs that has had the best transfer window this season because they were able to sell off most of the players that they do not need and even get some players that they needed except a replacement for Enzo Fernandez, which is something that I think they would regret a lot going further in the season because the options they have in their midfield are simply not enough.

Well its hard to say what is smart. I have all expensive players Haaland Bruno Gabriel and Joao Pedro and you just need to do the best to find the rest of good players to combine with your budget. Its always hard to pick but at some point i think i will have to sacrifice Haaland and get more better players.

Well i have Kinsky so i know your pain with the goalkeepers. Lammens and Kinsky have really conceded a lot of goals,looks like the only smart thing currently is Raya for sure points.

The thing is going for another Arsenal DEF starter instead of Gabriel gives you extra 3.5m to strengthen somewhere on the team - on the other hand you can get two Arsenal DEF for 10m combined meanwhile Gabriel is 8m.

Because he is washed, and there were better goalkeepers on the market than Martinez. They could've signed Maignan for example, or even Trafford.

With Argentina the team has always been systematic and coherent - at Aston Villa the defense has been quite the opposite up until very recently, and then they sold almost their entire back line.

These figures are way overinflated, especially for a player who probably wasn’t brought in to be a guaranteed starter
I don’t know if the player is worth all that, but I’m impressed by how much English soccer is paying

With the incomings currently at Manchester city I think most managers would not be having much of Manchester city assets going forward because the minutes will be shared, for example Ndiaye’s arrival means that both Cherki and Foden will actually fight for same spot which is the number 10 role except Enzo Maresca would then explore to use Foden as a right winger which will push the both Semenyo and Ndiaye to the left wing plus the return of Doku will be another selection dilemma. In all of this Ndiaye will be the one with lesser minutes and definitely a bad pick in my opinion at this period.

That’s the risk that comes with, and to be Frank if any one is looking for a defenders and possibly for clean sheets then Arsenal defenders are the go to defenders. Some players like Calafiori are there not only there because of clean sheet alone they have attacking returns too and also some defenders have DEFCON points like Gabriel and then goalkeepers with number of saves.

I also think that Chelsea haven’t really find a good solution to their defensive problems, I think Martinez is a quick fix that would most probably not last beyond this season. Chelsea had all the time to go for James Trafford and they didn’t plus they could have even gotten the young Suzuki who Aston Villa used as Martinez replacement because he is younger and for me a better shot stopper at the moment than Emi Martinez

Age, I would say GK at such age usually go for peanuts (it funny because GK unlike players, imo, get much better with their age.. I would agree that it's quite a steal for Chelsea to be fair, if you consider how many GKs they've tried in the last 5-6 years.

Ndiaye's not going to be FPL relevant for much, I'd agree, not on a Man City team anyway, but maybe he could get decent playing minutes while Doku is out, Ndiaye could easily play on the Left and Semenyo on the Right. I'd still expect Cherki and Foden to be starting for the time being, maybe Cherki at much risk of playing lesser minutes. Besides Haaland, Anderson, Enzo and Donnaruma (the last 3 are definitely not worth it to me), I'm not sure anyone is guaranteed until we know exactly Maresca's preference on each position.

Against Chelsea i can see them conceding a goal and this is worrying for me because i have two defenders there from Arsenal. My team currently needs radical changes but cannot do anything because i dont have the budget to change something. I want Raya badly as well maybe from GW4 like you said but i dont think i can bring him. I think i will need to use a wildcard to get him but will need to transfer out on of my bigger players and i dont know who.

Their best 2 games are out of the way now. If you went without him, surely you don't bring him in now?

My transfers made, decided to go against the template Cherki a bit and picked Foden. I am planing early WC anyway so that shouldn't be too important. Famous last words probably but maybe most transferred curse could help me in this case.

I told a -4 hit for Cherki - that was the only way to accommodate him and  two Newcastle United assets for their sweet tooth fixtures. I threw Mbeumo and Maguire under the bus. My only concern is Cherki but it'd be a stupid of Enzo Maresca to not start him after his last performance.

I'm talking about Maguire and Mbuemo, the latter scored decent points in GW2, but i do not think he would be too influential this season, though i could be wrong, and as for Maguire, i don't expect United to keep too many clean sheets.
