The shitty VAR call helped me get some points from Gvardiol and Haaland - without it this gameweek would have been even worse.
The 9.5 million$ Brighton duo is simply destroying me - I have neither one of them and they have like 10 points per game on average so far.

Should have used the freehit - but it's really easy to judge in retrospective. Maybe Leeds duo saves the GW tonight for me - although that is highly unlikely.

Brighton really saved the game week for lots of people, Free hit helped most people out this week including myself even though I still think I made some mistakes like trusting some Liverpool assets, but they were still many people who were actually let down by their decisions even though they used the free hit. Imagine going for Brighton midfield and instead of Gross you went for Gomez, just like me ditching Saka and Morgan Gibbs white in my draft for Isak.

The game today looks open, for those who have Carlvert-Lewin this might be his last chance though he has very good record against Newcastle hopefully he doesn’t continue that way because I am no longer having him, don’t want my Isak regret to be sever.

Now that I don't have Wissa on my FH team he's going to score a brace tonight but I'm trusting Newcastle United to keep the snake away at all cost. That's the best they can do to their fans for all the disrespect. 

For the first time I'm on the good side - I took triple Brighton and they returned 36pts.

Not the best gameweek for me, even though i ended up with 77 points. I think i should have played my Wildcard chip this gameweek and add 1 or 2 Chelsea assets to my team. I don't have Palmer in my team yet and that's beginning to worry me, he looks like he'll be on fire all season and i think i'm missing out.

Pascal Groß came through for the managers that have him in their team and i am glad i did bring him in, it would have been a terrible gameweek if i didn't. Now i would just hold off until the international break to play my Wildcard chip.

I am completely below average, Raya and Groß tried their best to lift me but to no avail. It was all my fault for not setting my team.

I had t Cherki who has caused me double trouble, my captain was Isak and things fell apart.

Out United. Out Liverpool (except my friend Szobo who seems to be good for goals anyway). Back Haaland. Sad about Isak out, seems to be exactly the sort of thing I do every season.

Isak out against Ipswich defense was such a bold move ( not saying this because he scored tonight) unless you did it to TC Halaand this GW.

I just did it to bring Haaland in. Put my TC on Palmer instead and only Szoboszlai in my entire team so far has fewer points. I could have TC'd anyone else and earned much more but I guess my genius knows it has limits... and so my team rolls onward.

Hope you're right about Wissa. I think all he needs to do is score a goal and I will at least scratch and bite my way back into top 5.

I wanted to but the fixtures were too good to not FH last GW- it's still 80% of my intended WC team though.

Tough round for me. Players that I am always debating about picking seem to be killing it (Gross, De Cuyper). And the thought process was - ah, it's an away game and if they win it might be by 1 or 2 but Brighton killed it with a great fantasy performance by the two mentioned players. Need to get a hard look at the team and see when to wild card and free hit and get back to top 10.

p.s: Cherki is losing his value at a rapid rate.

I'm not sure in what position Maresca fancies O'Reilly. We all know he can slot in at left back and in midfield, but now Gvardiol has been very solid in that left back position and Enzo Fernandez looks like he would be a regular in this City team. I think O'Reilly may see a reduced game time in the next couple of games.

I'll stick with Cherki though, he was unlucky to come off at half-time when Foden got sent off. But now that Foden will miss a couple of games through suspension, Cherki would most likely start and play a lot longer in the next few games.

I always didnt like this game because i always feel the same, i feel like i ahve a good team, i count my points and they are decent or above average but when i went to the league i saw a guy scoring more than 100 points without any effort and having no sense players (at least for me), so i keep losing positions and ending like always outside the top 10 of the league.

I guess im prety wrong and i dont really like and dont really know how to play this kind of games.

The perfect FPL decisions are made in retrospect, aren't they ? I already know of at least 2-3 guys I wouldn't have on my wildcard If I was doing it this week and 3 more I'll be heavily considering regardless of how tough the next 2-3 fixtures ahead might seem.

You couldn't have written the script of how the gameweek ends for you any better, maybe if Stach hadn't miss that sitter, it wouldn't gone up a notch, but still a great number for a week you were just playing through..

Newcastle were a complete mess all game, and I've really not watched them in details until now, that calamitous midfield combination of Steur and Miley is going to have teams that pressure pretty high, run them over every single day.

I don’t have enough experience to speak on this, after all, it’s my first time
But look at the top users, several of them have already used the chips. I don’t know what your username is in our league, but if you haven’t used the chips yet, that might be the difference

It’s a 38 round competition. I’m sure everyone will make mistakes at some point, make the wrong choice, and lose points, but there will also be weeks when you’ll get it just right

Most of us already used ours on Haaland against Coventry, didn't turn out so great, did it. Good luck with yours, why Sunderland though? I think they are a decent team, it doesn't mean Haaland can't score a hat-trick, but it looks like a bigger gamble in my opinion.

Lol, too early to be feeling that way, don't you think. A lot of analysis goes into it, but you know luck is also a big factor, so yeah, nothing to worry about, just have fun!

From week 1 till date, the O'Reilly of a guy had appeared brilliant but no big game for him yet. Even when he got the opportunity to move to the midfield. I'm done with him...

It's a good fixture at home before the international break -  use it and get over with it or you wait till GW7 after the international break but that's is risky as some players usually reset form after a long break.

I've used mine and I'm left with only 2 chips - I can't wait to get rip of every single one of them.

I won't be using my triple captain chip against Sunderland, not as if triple captain would make an eternal difference on a day where Haaland is a favorite captain choice, the difference between Haaland triple captain against Coventry where he had 5 points and if he gets 15 points vs Sunderland is going to be 5 points.

I've survived both major Haaland and Palmer TC scare at 5 points apiece, I might as well just look for a match where Haaland or whoever it's going to be would be having a divided captain choice to attack, currently that's what makes the most sense to me, but in the absence of a suitable fixture, I'll be opened to leaving the chip unused for as long as possible.

Haha! That was the strangest one of the week, there was zero information whatsoever about him being a doubt, not even before the lineup were public, after which I thought he was only starting from the bench. Very odd one!

Yeah. I just thought with all their outgoings, they'd have to rely on him much more and he would, well, deliver. So far no, but as you said, he has decent fixtures in the weeks ahead and why he's in my team now.

darxiaomi, don't worry. I don't have the brain or time required for these games but there's a fair amount of luck involved and a prize spot could still be ours with (a lot of) luck!

City's next game is against Sunderland, i don't know what to make of them this season yet, considering how good they were last season, but i'd not call them 'weak', if there are even any such teams in the EPL. However, it is a home game for City, so it is a good fixture to have Cherki and Haaland, especially with Foden out through suspension.

Yeah - that was frustrating. Also the fact that they scored 4 goals and he didn't do anything else.
DCL did push me back to Top5 so I lost only 3 places - I can live with that in a GW in which most things went against me.

My team looks better for the upcoming one and then I will WC - as per the original plan.

My team is not decent at all, I have already accepted it. Maybe it is time to start using the chips in the hope of at least accumulating some points. I assure you, being at the bottom of the table is not where any manager wants to be. I am still reluctant to make wholesale changes to my team this week therefore I might keep the players I have and hope for the best
