We are just waiting for the printer to finish the 1/1 Diamond Cards.  They estimated they would be done by now, but in typical printer fashion they have been delayed.  We expect to see the test prints this week and hoping to have everything wrapped up in the next 2-3 weeks.

So we are currently at the 2 week mark - -- seems to me if there are not any more disruptions, we will start getting tracking notifications in the next week or 2. Probably safer to say 3-4 more weeks but we can be hopeful. I just wish they would have confirmed reception of the cards we sent. 62 max sets - ALOT of people sent in multiple sets.. Probably only 30 emails to send out to confirm they received our cards safely and intact. I do know I separated my sets and had them in numerical order to make it easier to verify. Plus fully taped in a plastic bubble mailer- would survive a flood if needed

Refractors are 1 in 10, so you definitely did well.

I bought 2 boxes and didn’t do so hot. Nothing special but enough decent cards to break even. I’m still hunting for a 1A base - have a couple 1A CS if anyone needs

According to that message, you are not yet eligible to send in a set for a diamond refractor. You are on the waitlist.
They will send an email with a form attached that you are supposed to fill out when you are all clear to send in your base set for redemption.
If you have already sent in your base set while still just being on the waitlist, you may want to contact Cardsmiths. Once the first round of redemptions are over, if you get a slot in round two, maybe they will be kind enough to accept the set you already sent in.

oh I know - just waiting for the next step is all - that was quite some time ago. so still waiting.

We received the Diamond Gemstone card yesterday.  However, we QC rejected 80% of them.  So the printer is working on replacing those.

More than likely we'll send out a few redemptions early next week and the rest once we receive the replacement cards.

Appreciate everyone's patience.  Going forward, we will probably just have to wait and start the program once the cards are in hand.

Good advice!  They actually padded the printer's estimate by about 3 weeks, so they did try and do just as you suggest.  Being that they don't print the cards themselves, they are at the mercy of their vendors.

If you have sent in a set for redemption and no longer wish to wait, send me a PM and I can ask them to return it to you.  Certainly don't want any hard feelings over what was meant to be a gesture of fun and goodwill.

For what it's worth, tally sticks was a hard concept to get right.  It was definitely more about the role it played as a historic medium of exchange rather than thinking we could achieve creating a super-dynamic art piece.

Looking back, I probably would have assigned it to another artist just to see what they could have come up with.  

As you build the checklist you can almost see which cards are going to be the most desired no matter how good you try and make the art.  Tally Sticks definitely fell into that category.  

For Series 2, there a few that I will be interested to see the reaction to.  Sometimes, you are surprised by which ones end up being the most desirable.

That said, it was pretty obvious that the Joe Simko Elon Musk card was going to be one of the most popular cards in S1.

But yeah....poor Tally Sticks.  Thanks for showing it some love!  :-)
