I pity those that see gambling as the main source of their income, I even pity those that see gambling as a source of income, what do happen at the end is that they will find themselves losing. Those are the people that will later be using the amount they can not afford to lose to gamble and become addicted and gambling become a problem for them. The best way towards have a good gambling experienced is when you see gambling as an high risk way of losing money and only set the amount you can afford to lose for it and this can be possible if the person realize that gambling is not a way to earn money.

It's important to control our emotions when it comes to gambling and investing, decision making based on our gut feelings is usually not a good approach. And still a big loss will always hurt our feelings. If the problem is only in our head we can think about more positive things, like how much money we won in the past already. Taking losses into consideration as part of our whole gambling career makes it seem less severe. The big problem is if the issues are not only in our head but also affect our body directly. That can be very dangerous because it can become a chronically illness that might require treatment for the rest of our lives. It's similar to little tics that humans develop under too much stress.

If we're specifically talking about people who are addicted to gambling, as opposed to a casual gambler, then there are some general traits but almost anyone could get hooked in reality. Now, not to sound mean about it, but the higher education you receive the more likely you are to be about the mathematical odds and psychological traps that casinos intentionally exploit to get you returning. I absolutely agree with you. The main problem of gambling addiction is not unemployment or economic problems of the country, it's the lack of financial literacy of people.

In most cases, people who are addicted to gambling are almost on average not having work activities or we can say unemployment, although it is possible for people who are actively working. 
I think some of the symptoms you mention do not determine someone is addicted to gambling. Anxiety, emotional, stress are common things that happen when I lose a gamble, this is normal and will return to normal after a while.

You can easily tell a person who is addicted to gambling, yes they are chasing their loss, it's one of the obvious signs they are always excited to get back on the table or log in to their account and promised themselves that they will regain their losses, they take out a loan and try to convince people that they can win this time, but that this time will just go on and on.

Another sign is they are showing sign of excitement they don't care if they win or lose they just want to play they just want to be on the board they forget every issues and personal problems, these kind of gamblers don't have a strong support system and they find gambling as their scapegoat.

In this case I can't say this is true or not because I haven't found any evidence about the majority who are there are unemployed but in this case it doesn't really matter whether they are unemployed or who already have a permanent job there, it's still the same impact for everyone who is already addicted.
Because when we gamble, it is clear that there is a measure that we can indeed do, for example when unemployed, the defeat will certainly not be as much as those who have work because their finances are not too adequate but in terms of stress it will still be the same.
