And then you are saying creating Casinos isn't right because they make the gambling field in making money?  As I stated, people who make use of gambling engagement as source of income is way more careful than any other gambling player.  I do agree that there are better ways to a source of income, but in terms of turning into a compulsive gamblers, they are less likely to get addicted because

1.  They always plan their action
2.  They make a careful approach in every bet they made.
3.  They manage their bankroll really well to not get busted as soon as they engage in their gambling activity
4.  They have complete control of their time
5.  They don't chase losses, if they feel that it isn't their day they just stop and go home. Or linger a little longer for socialization.

I agree with the risk of the environment but I bet these type of gambler know how to handle the risk around.  Else, they won't be in the industry if they failed to adapt in this risky environment.

there are professional gamblers, they are very disciplined people, they are very social people, you can see them on youtube and they are people who live on gambling and from what I can tell they are not addicts. everything in this world depends on how we use ourselves. if we abuse and exaggerate and if we don't use knowledge then we can go down a wrong path, in the case of gambling people just need to have self control. such as alcohol, food, sex, politics... everything can make someone addicted if they don't have self-control.

..Gambling is stressful even the financial management is so stressful - dealing with the collection company.
And paying when you don't have money to pay. And dealing with all the mood swings and tantrum for a person like me it is very hard to deal with.

Yes, I also believe these more severe symptoms can hit the most greedy people who want to get rich fast and they can imagine that gambling will do that... but most of the time no, this is an extremely minimal portion that will happen.

I even venture to say that if a person addicted to gambling won $1 million dollars the night before, he could literally lose everything betting the next day, as there is a high possibility that he will imagine that he can win another $1 million the next day. day and so on.

Basically this "possible" hope and the greed that can lead many gamblers to ruin overnight, this is sad, but unfortunately it is the reality most of the time.

In specific if the person is single then his attitude and behaviour will be different and if the gambler has family and kids then it differs. According to me I used to loss and to compensate the loss used to borrow money and this happens as a result of my wife noting my account balance. At times when I weren't able to compensate out of borrowing the pressure increases.

All mentioned above were possible characteristics of a gambling addict but you don't know if you can easily if the person is addicted to online gambling since it is barely go outside to gamble.
