I agree with you on this. Every penny is worth another game and definitely can’t be wasted on either food nor drink. And most addicts literally use their last cent to satisfy their cravings. Also, an addict can not entirely hide his love and cravings for his addiction and if observed carefully, one can identify traits and symptoms of an addiction. Although addiction is bad and would need strict discipline to help overcome its clutch, I wouldn’t put all the blame on the shoulders of the addict and that’s why addicts get help because the addiction can be overwhelming for the addict to handle alone.

not 100% of people who are addicted to gambling need the services of a psychologist to help them stop their addiction, there are also many successful addicts who quit because of the encouragement of loved ones, so I really agree with the support option from loved ones to encourage addicts to quit gambling if the gambling addict doesn't have the cost to go to a psychologist.

Addiction isn’t really an easy feat to overcome. And that’s is probably why it’s called an addiction. Whether it’s drug addiction or gambling addiction, it really isn’t easy to overcome it. An individual has to be disciplined strictly in order to overcome. In some cases, the addict needs to get some help in order to overcome the addiction and that where rehab comes in. Well I don't think that's true. if someone wants to make money of course he has to work and in return he will get income.
and if someone gambles for instant income, I'm sure he will experience disappointment.

I disagree with you, those who are in desperate need of money tend to be more cautious in dealing with gambling activities.  I think you have mistaken about gambling addicts who are in desperate need of money to fill their gambling activity for those who aren't addicted to gambling and desperately need money since the latter will have a second thought about gambling since they will think that they might lose the needed money if they gamble it.

Gambling addiction is what makes gambling to appear as an irresponsible man's activity, I knew of a case where a chronic gambler had to serially sell all his household properties down to his personal wears just to be able to keep up with the gambling life with the hope that eventually he will hit a major winning streak that will change his life much better than it where, but till as at when I was brief about the case his life is moving continuously from frypan to fire.

But the thing is different when it comes to gambling addiction. Gambling addicts have this uncontrolled urge to gamble, so definitely their priority is to fulfill this urge, and not to learn from their mistakes.  Gambling problems won't be a problem if players can adjust and learn from their mistakes and make favorable decisions for betterment.  Aside from that, gambling addiction won't be an issue if your statement is correct, and the government does not need to spend millions of dollars just to create a program to aid those who are addicted to gambling.

I think greed is a also one of the major factors on why people get addicted to gambling.

The lust like you said is really crazy and it can make people do crazy unimaginable things in the quest to acquire money and more money.
