Vinicius, as much as I'm a Barca fan, deserves this. Bellingham will probably be more 'popular' choice though.

It has to be Vini, he has bigger influence in very important games and has done it more consistently for Real Madrid than Bellingham who just joined them. If it is given to Bellingham, It is a robbery.

What does everybody think of BVB's chances vs Real Madrid?  Could they pull of an upset?

It is not impossible, Real Madrid can concede goals, and Dortmund can score. Dortmund also defend really well and if they score they lead, they will ensure to make Real Madrid suffer to get the goal back.

Real Madrid are marked as favorites to win the finals as everyone sees Dortmund as the underdog in the game. If the mentality of the Dortmund players is not defeated before the game starts, the final will not be as easy for Real Madrid as some people predict it to be.

Yes, besides Neuer (who, by the way, played perfectly before those mistakes and if not for him, the score would have been 2-0 or 3-1 in favor of Real Madrid) I wanted to blame Tuchel because of his cowardly substitutions, but Tuchel said that it was there were forced replacements. I don’t know whether to believe him or not, but the fact that Bayern tried to play for time (against Real Madrid lol! Isn’t it clear that this doesn’t work and this is seen every year) is obvious. Real is simply stronger, a simple fact. And it’s time for Neuer to prepare for retirement; he can no longer be 100% reliable as before.

I give Dortmund ~20% chance of winning. Madrid is so experienced at this level, and is overall a much better team as well.

I'd really love Reus to win it, he's one of my favorite players and would be at KDB's level if he didn't have so many injuries.
As a LFC fan, BVB is a club I admire so I really hope they prove me wrong.

This. The main ref has nothing to do with offsides. Linesman has to raise the flag after the action finishes if he is not 100% certain. And he couldn't have been certain in that case for sure. It is not up to interpretation that is one of the actual VAR rules they implemented.

Might be more of a shout in La Liga alone, all those points won purely thanks to Bellingham in the first half of the season, but over the stretch of the year, and in terms of pure influence, you cannot be watching Real on the big stage and choose Jude over Vini. Not this season, not yet.

Last night, that guy was just terrorising and toying with players on the German flank. The way a cat might lazily bat a mouse around. But there was one rare outing on the wing, Vinicius actually allowed Bellingham to take over as they were running the clock down. And the Englishman tried one fancy trick, failed on the first flick, got swarmed over. You could almost feel his own embarrassment at trying.

Always had a thing for Reus too, one of the ones who ultimately stayed, almost a forgotten relic of in terms of talked up talents from a decade ago, has been having a revival of sorts but he deserves something like this to get his swansong.

Nice haul indeed, I will end up with next to nothing from the pools, with an outside chance in Serie A maybe if I hold on there.

You have already been answered about the whistle, there is nothing to add here. The linesman raised the flag too early (the only mistake in timing), but he did not make a mistake in calling offside. And now, based on this, Bayern makes so many claims as if the title was stolen from them.
In my opinion this is disgraceful behavior.

As for the fact that Real's campaign is supposedly marked by controversy, this is only a consequence of how successful Real is. For example, we have never heard about the referees helping Ludogorets win the Champions League for the obvious reason - Ludogorets is simply not in the playoffs.
And Real reached the semi-finals for the third year in a row and reached the final two times out of three. Naturally, from hundreds and thousands of decisions of the referee (who are sometimes wrong in all directions), it is much easier to choose a few decisions that supposedly indicate that the referees are helping Real Madrid or simply that “not everything is clean.”
Such theories help fans of loosers survive defeats (and the next triumphs of Real Madrid), there is nothing wrong with that. But when figures like Tuchel come up with such excuses, it looks pathetic.

P.S. By the way, about consistency: are you also outraged that the referee did not give a card to a Bayern player for scoring after the whistle? It turns out the referees are helping Bayern

Real Madrid always has a plus from referees you can check taht in the Nacho disallowed goal..... WHAT had to see the referee in the monitor? Why VAR doesnt disalowed the goal in automode because the fault was super clear, in fact Nacho never celebrate the goal knowing the fault.

Asides of that we have to be honest in all, and yes the Bayern play was super out of time, the game has to be ended way earlier. And i agree with KTC in parts of his claim, a lot of looser starts to build non sense about big teams.

Real is huge favorite in final, but I have to give big credits to all German club this season.
Bayern almost made it in Champions league final against Dortmund, and Bayer Leverkusen is playing in Europa League final against Atalanta.
This will give big boost in points for European spots in next seasons.

Should be a really good game tonight, the neutral would want Bayern to win to set up an all German final. In that scenario I’d definitely be cheering on Dortmund, I wonder if Klopp would be in with the Dortmund fans:D

I’m not sure if fairy tales exist in football though, Real will do what Real do in this competition which is find a way to win.

I think chances are there for any team,let me remind you of last season final where Inter almost equalized a super performing Manchester City who had just thrashed 4-0 in the semi final exactly Real Madrid.Based on this I think that Dortmund will put much more heart into the game compared to what Real players will,I am pretty sure of this.For me this final is better than Bayern vs Dortmund and will be enjoyable to watch.

Yup...  And with just one match to play for all the marbles, it's 'gg no re'.  BVB def has a chance of winning it.  And the sharps know the books opened the line too wide.  The first time I checked the lines it was BVB to win the match at 7.20 and like a minute later it was 6.60 or something.  I just checked right now and it's at 5 and could go down more as the final comes closer.

As for the ideal match up, City vs PSG would've been sick.  And both managers ex Barca managers playing that style of play.  Beautiful football...

I also think that he will end his career with Real Madrid as Real Madrid is one of the greatest club in the world not just in Spain.I think that he moved in 11 different clubs because maybe he did not enjoy himself there and did not won anything with them,when some player comes to Real whoever that maybe I find it very difficult for them to leave such a club,it is not about money anymore,it is about the prestige and about the money I don't think Real pays their players that bad  quite the opposite.So for Joselu based also on his age chances are extremely high for him to be staying at Real unless some Saudi Arabia club gives him an offer he can't refuse.

I also think that definitely he will get a call in the Euro especially if Real win the Champions League.Nowadays the age is not that determining factor as it was many years ago and it is also based on what a player does mostly in the field.For the World Cup I would wait to see how he plays and how Spain does in the Euros before jumping to conclusions,as if Spain does not win or goes near the final in the Euros most likely he won't be that motivated to participate in the World Cup but if Spain plays so well and wins the Euro or goes very near achieving it then most likely he would love to give another go at the World Cup.
