Im still salty with this. Well yeah they didnt lose at regular time but it still awful to watch them play against 10 players then lose

We played worse after Lille went down by one man unfortunately. However if you watch both matches with a neutral look, you would see that Fenerbahçe deserved to get past the round. I still think that the penalty Lille won during extra time was wrong. The last time I was able to watch Fenerbahçe in the Champions League, Playstation 3 wasn't even released yet. 😢

Hope this doesn’t turn out to be the critical point in this season but, the Manchester City game and the inexperienced Ipswich was a game to rack points with Haaland and I see my rivalry Icopress did it just right with a TP even.  So what I would have done if I had Haaland. Almost got him on my team with a 4 points hit. Halftime and his 2 goals already. Let’s see how Ipswich holds up in the second half.

Nah when it comes to UCL, Real Madrid is way better than any other team. I would love if either Bundesliga or Serie A would become the winner for this season UCL, would prefer it to be Leverkusen

Hansi Flick is no match to Carlo Ancelotti, mehhhn the man is much of  a masterclass in what his does on the pitch than Hansi Flick, and his squad is world class even before the arrival of Kylian Mbappe to the club. I am not in a dilemma that Real Madrid won't win season trophy again except something out of the ordinary happens in the process of the competition.

For the pedestal Leverkusen has given themselves I would have loved to see them win a UCL too, but the odds of that happening is very minuscule to happen. This season it's all eyes on Real Madrid then Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Arsenal and so on...

Trust me guys I know. I'm just saying it because I support Barca and nothing else. I mean honestly, Flick now talks to his team via Lewandowski, that's not really a good thing for me. But the problem is deeper than Hansi. Xavi was the best coach for us, but the club man, the club, the money, losing Gundogan, losing whoever else because we can't afford shit. Getting shat on by your club, those are the deeper problems than us playing on the pitch.

Can’t say I didn’t see this coming though and it feels really terrible I didn’t do much about it. Eyes on his price deprived me of this one.
Banking on it’s the start of the season yet again for hope.

Hooray I don't know why but I get a nice feeling to see old faces playing, even more than I get new faces. To be so honest if casperBGD ever came back I would be so happy, and its not like I know you guys personally but the forum closeness is a special feeling

The tournament starts according to UEFA in roughly 3 weeks, in 17 September, and buway always tags people IIRC if they didn't submit, so you will always get a reminder

This is going to be a stretch for me with my time but I had to join and Champions League is usually played in midweek and not during weekends, that works better for me.

Home team is big favorite but something stinks about this game to me, and  Young Boys have advantage from first match.

Anyway, update: we're working on a non-Google form alternative for Pot B. It will ask you for the first time to create your own password-protected account. We hope that should:
- require less work from players (no more manual calculation of how many stakes you have left)
- give you the ability to update your BTC address and username (should you change it throughout the season)
- allow less possibility of someone else submitting answers using your username

We should have more information soon!

Seems that bastards think alike. I actually thought Gala should win comfortably but I was counting on leaky defences in search of a goal, and the odds were too good to ignore, especially when the Swiss side already showed they could win. Another red-card performance from the Turks, too. They still had 15 minutes but any chance went after Muslera decided to quit. It's like you just need to wait for them to implode.

Young Boys played Champions League last season so they have more experience now, and they are getting better each year.
I think this season we are going to see even more weak clubs because of different competition format.
It was fun tonight watching how Slovan won against Midtjylland, they turned around result from 1:2 to 3:2 with two amazing goals.

Now we are waiting for Champions League league phase draw in Thursday 29 August.

Every time I see teams like Dinamo, they strike me as very good solid teams. Teams who have players playing long time together, and very physical.
