I guess another set of people that should be happy for the round being null and void is those that have all their eggs in multiple no goals pick and over 6.5/7.5 goals, because it would have been a complete blood bath, no match ended in a barren draw, and the goals were more of mid range numbers, only one match with more than 5 goals, and 2 others with 5 goals, and I don’t think the latter two matches had the option for 4.5 goals.

At least 3 upsets happened yesterday, too bad the odds weren't too good for them. Milan, Sporting, were like 4 or 5x IIRC?

The odds were around 6.6× for Milan as it was a home game for Real Madrid. RM was hot favourite in the game yesterday. I would have staked some points on RM to ensure some points in pot B, which would be a wrong choice . On the other side, the odds were around 3.6× for Sporting to win. Some users would have gotten nice points in this round who prefer to take risks by going against the odds.

Good odds, but seems somehow too small in my mind, I mean this is Real Madrid and at home as you said, while Milan were very poor in both home league and in CL. Still, it was a big upset either way.

My choice for safe points is always Barca but they killed me in one Matchday so I stopped selecting them.

Sporting 3.6x? That's very low odds, not really an upset of the legendary status

As already observed above by Harko man, not a single "No goals" or "Over" goals hit, those were the biggest odds -- surprisingly, from my memory, Milan barely got a 6/1 odds (I have on my betslip 66/10) and Sporting wasn't even 5/1, not sure what Celtic odds were but, what a shame!

Villa free goals, Leverkusen smash, Real humiliation, PSG shock, City desolation. I guess UCL does deliver after all!

If it was the old format I would call the results interesting, but in the new format it looks like the League of Nations where 90% of the teams don't give a fuck about the results. And as a bettor I am also dissatisfied, I do not see logic in the results, neither in the streaks nor in the motivation of the teams. This is pure casino (where the house always wins).

This might only give them false hope that he will somehow sort their issues, but its one thing to manage Sporting and entirely different Man Utd. After all, ten Haag did a pretty good jon in Ajax and we saw how all that ended up for them.

I didnt enjoy very much when teams I bet on lost their matches, biggest loser for me was Leipzig losing from Celtic.
If Pot B was active I would surely play on Barcelona match over 6.5 goals, but I will have another chance in the end of the month.
My superbru results are not great, but much better than results in Championship pool

That was the first thought that came into my mind too but I know I would have wanted to play it safe therefore, I'll have gone for something lower but still high goals. Looking at my performance on superbru I kind of feel sad now that the plot B wasn't available, I feel I would have gotten some big points this week. Congratulations to Hhampuz on topping this round. Close call, as it was just 0.5 separating us. The Arsenal game cause me falling short, had the correct score I just have to doubt my guts and gave Arsenal a goal atleast which gives me 1.5 points. Arteta needs to do something  about his players form or arsenal ending this season without trophy again.

First round with all matches having goals, but 2 of them were scored in last minutes. That means next round will have at least 1 0-0 and 1 over 6 Anybody saw Chelsea trash Noah with goals from everywhere? It was 7 different players too, they should have let someone else take the penalty.

I was also in the top 10 before, 9th position to be precise, but I slipped down 3 spots as well and I'm well down to No. 12 on the list but the only saving grace would be that I'm just 8 points from the first position placed and it's still a couple of rounds left in the group stage to play catch up.

It only becomes almost impossible to catch once the group rounds are over, so I've really gotta try to step up now or never.

We don't see much movement in the table after the group stages; the more the matches, the more points; as we go closer to the quarterfinals, the points decrease, giving a huge disadvantage to the lower-ranked teams and a big advantage to the top teams. That's my fear.

I think because of the current position, we might be surprised with big odds. Like who would think Brest can go through, while RM and even PSG are way below? It might end up big team meets weak teams because of position in table, so big odds could still be possible.

But for sure, less and less chance as the competition continues.

Another dusty international break is interrupting our flow man. I really despise these breaks, Liverpool are flying and we’re having fun in the pools. It’s a real shame, these international breaks really are disruptive.

Big game for my boys when the break is over. Liverpool vs Real Madrid is a real heavyweight tie, they have had the better of us in recent years but I fancy us to get at least a draw here. We seem re-energised with Slot, 4 wins out of 4 in the CL, this is our house Real.

I know it's been several seasons like this now but am I mistaken to think this is the worst in terms of start-stop experience? I believe we've not had more than 3 league games in a row before an international break. That doesn't feel right at all, does it?

So tempted to show up with big bags of cash for the Real game -- but the odds reflect the times. We are, for the first time I can remember in recent seasons, the favourites. Hurts me to say but the value is on Real. But hey, if you like doubling your money, Liverpool are such a fine prospect
