Freebets seem to always take longer than I hope for this pool, players are either giving me wrong usernames or lost their account, or giving away prizes haha.

Rookie mistakes are terrible!
Ban them all and let responsible good reputable players take their place, for example I heard team notblox1 is fantastic 
I think two penalties ruined my chances, without them I would be in top 10, but I still have some chance if I collect maximum points in net rounds.

I however agree with notblox1, the other usernames can go, gamble at their expense. What are friends for!

That reminds me, why haven’t I won some bonuses here. I usually do win on other pools but you guys in the UCL just like keeping these bonuses to yourselves. Sometimes let us win too, deliberately point 6 points on under 0.5 for PSG vs Bayern Munich, that would do nicely.

PSG are always lacking in corners, as well as against Liverpool a few weeks ago, I thought Bayern Munich would surpass more... but it turned out to be more goals than corners. Lol Actually this is a bit annoying, because it's only one less.

Same, in the promo question I went for Bayern to hit 6 corners first. In any normal match I would go for none of the teams but Bayern like to shoot, or so I thought, and somehow they either scored from their shots or they got saved properly without conceding corners. And for PSG it was even more precision they had 5 shots on target and all of it went into goal

Was really hoping for people above to get penalties, but nearly got 1 myself (needed Atletico to score as all my over/unders failed).

Surpassed you, will be a fun battle in the next 2 rounds. Still annoyed about the penalty that I got - and in the only round in which I had an extra stake to use.
Still, even without the penalty I would not have any realistic chances of battling it out for the top spot.

Curious to see what the options for the next round will be. Goalscorers maybe?

Yeah, don't worry, you'll get another penalty before this season ends. I feel like I have enough in the bank to suffer 1 penalty, and still end up with consolation prize, so I'm not too bothered. Top spot does seem out of reach, would need to win 3 stakes on a big thing and only 3 players did that last round -- not sure why I changed my mind about the Over 5.5.

Next round? More of the same, and I was toying with Goalscorer replacing handicap but I might just leave it for the final, for one big match with every single market we've ever done. I've been at pains to save some stakes for that, but I will probably regret it.

Wanted to put all my stakes there but then I remembered what kind of a game it was - so decided against it.

Something tells me the whole bookie gangs got together and said lets do this 4.5 and BTW I never saw this line before in my life as well, at least not at this stage of professional football, this is really not normal. If you think about it, this is like giving 0-0 2x.

So I'm same as you, I think this is a big trap, 2x for a game to have 5 goals? It must be remembered that PSG scored 5 goals from 5 shots on target. This shouldn't happen AGAIN

I actually collected usernames from 2 seasons ago (problem was many people changed or forgot haha), but yes, I should have done it on registration -- so we'll fix that once/if we do this pool again next one.

Impossible to ignore, but I've never had to put over 7.5 to get 10/1 so this is really outsized!

I felt stupid in the first leg for removing all my initial stakes on Over 5.5. But as a result, I'm not suffering from don't-want-to-be-second-time stupid-by-trying-not-to-be-stupid syndrome...

By being chicken as soon as the group stages ended. I wasn't even in the prizes until playoffs onwards when the penalties started piling up. Have to say, respect for players like leea-1334 and slaman29 who had 2 early penalties by MD4 but didn't give up. Saint-loup really hauled too in the QFs and SFs.

That chicken strat has allowed me to save 3 stakes for the final matchday, though, I'd like to try and end it with one big push. Let's see!

Looking at odds someone would say this is easy home win for both teams but I am sure this wont happen in that scenario.
It was hard finding balance between good odds and safety from penalty points, but this is the time to make maximum points and jump on leaderboard.

I don't know man. Arsenal look like they've started playing better. At least their performance vs Fulham in the PL told me so.

Atletico Madrid didn't have a good season in the La Liga. However I've really liked them in the CL until this moment. They could have won the 1st leg too.

But playing at Emirates is really difficult. This is why I preferred Arsenal win but didn't allocate any stake for this one. I've used all my stakes on Bayern vs PSG.

Indeed this match is very boring... fortunately Arsenal is already ahead, now Atletico is playing openly to attack from all directions, expected to be hot and like it will be interesting.

Yeah those two are better in quality and I doubt Arsenal would be able to win against either Bayern or PSG. As much as I want Arteta to win, I really hate to watch Arsenal. Its just another boring game with 1 goal lead then they stop being aggresive. Still waiting on that late minute goal to take this game to penalty shootout for some intense game
